I Am An Adopted Child

I have seen a lot of soap opera about living an abundant life since childhood, then all of a sudden, somebody broke the "secret" that has been kept for a long time that he/she is just an adopted child. The common response was that, it affected the person (adopted) very much because it has never occured to her/his mind that she/he is an adopted and start feeling miserable.
.
But as a Christian, we have a happy adoption. Every Christian is an adopted child of the King of kings. Adam and Eve's fall in the Garden of Eden has cause all mankind to belong to the King of the darkness which is Satan. But God loves us so much that He made a way to take us back to Him. He sent His only Son to be a sacrificial lamb, so that whoever would believe in Him will be forgiven from sins and will become God's children. That is the process of our adoption is.
.
As our heavenly Father, God desire for us is to live in a way that befits His children. Activities and values that are not in keeping with our position as God's children must be done away with. Selfish and destructive ways are to be replaced by activities and values that showcase our gratitude and love for God and reflect our status as His children.
.
I am happy to declare that I am an adopted child of God, are you?
.
"For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love, He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will— to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the One He loves." (Ephesians 1:4-6 NIV)

We are adopted into GOD's family. My husband and I have 2 adopted daughters and they are just as much our kids as my 3 biological sons.
