Enjoy The Relaxing Effect Of Massage Chair

My idea of Christmas shopping is usually two months before Christmas. I have been doing this for four years already. In this way, I have avoided the falling in long line to pay my purchases. It gave me enough time to roam around the mall to find the best deals for gifts. It saves me a lot of money. What I don’t like is that if my husband was with me in going to mall we were always in a hurry. It hurts his back if he stands or walks around too long. But the good thing is that most of the malls here have massage chairs and that is my husband’s favorite corner. He loves sitting down there and gave his back a massage. He loves it very much that he said he definitely wants to have one in our house. Well, I would be glad if that is so. The massage chair can be a relaxing way to relieve stress. It is like having a masseur right in our home.
.
I know what website to find it, it is in HumanTouch.com. They are the makers of massage chairs and other massage products. Human Touch massage chairs has been making thousands of people feeling better for over 30 years by developing state-of-the-art massage products containing patented massage systems that replicate techniques used by massage professionals. Their products include handheld massagers, foot and calf massagers and relaxation furniture. Have one and enjoy the relaxing effect of massage chair.

Food Trip Friday #15 - Salted Peanut

I am joining Mommy Willa on this "Food Trip Friday" meme for a reason that I want to challenge myself to try something new food at least once a week in order for me to learn to cook.

.
.
.
.
.
.
All of a sudden, I miss eating salted peanut. It keeps bugging my mind that I feel like I will get sick if I can't eat salted peanut. I went to find it on grocery stores, but I can't find exactly the kind that I want to eat. So, I told my husband to take me where I can buy raw peanut and I will make my own salted peanut, and I was so happy that I found some raw peanut in Flea Market.
.
I then shelled it off, bring to boil the vegetable oil, put few garlic on it and poured the shelled peanut. I let it boiled for 1o minutes, tried a couple of times if it was crunchy enough. I removed the peanut from the boiling oil using the sifter and place them on table napkin until dried from oil. I put them in a bowl and sprinkled some salt on it.
.
I was very satisfied. I like it very much, considering it was my first time doing it. My husband loves it very much, too. We both enjoyed eating the salted peanut while I was watching TV and he was on his laptop working on something. He had problem with his laptop earlier and glad that his laptop have backup software . It saves him from a whole lot of trouble.

Cozy Dining Room Furniture

This Sunday will be our third week here in our new home. We are not done furnishing our place yet. There are still a lot of things that we need to buy such as carpet, rugs, dining room furniture, fixtures and decorations. We are waiting for the next pay day. We are slowing down on spending right now. We don’t want to end up sweeping up our bank account.
.
I was browsing through the internet to look for beautiful dining room furniture, and here is what I found that I like very much. This exquisite dining room furniture is by John Lewis and can be found in MyDeco.com. Isn’t this cute, cozy and unique? The dark wood materials make it look so Asian and homey to me.
.
MyDeco.com has a wide selection of unique styles of furniture that can surely be a “head turner”. Their living room furniture are very awesome and the prices are surprisingly low. My husband and I enjoyed looking through their products and are considering on purchasing online from their website on our next pay day. If you are looking for unique furniture, shelves, storage and other home furnishing , hop in to their website and enjoy the sight.

Thankful Thursday - Make Known Among The Nations What God Has Done

I missed posting my "Thankful Thursday for a couple of times because at one time I was sick and the second time I was extremely busy. I feel bad about it, but I can't help it. There are so many things I want to thank God , for He deserves it and He is greatly to be praise through our thanksgiving. Here is now my "Thankful Thursday" entry, but before I go on, let me highlight this Bible verse to you:
.
"Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done." Psalm 105:1 NIV
.
...*I thank God that we are now here in Florida and have a place that we can call our "home".
...*I thank God for all the family and friends that surrounds and loves us here in our new home. May they see the love of God in our lives and glorify God.
...*I thank God for Dad and Mom who were all out supporting and assisting us to move here in Florida. May God bless them always.
...*I thank God that my hives did not bother me anymore. It just stopped. Although we were still not sure what caused it, but the important thing is that it doesn't bother me anymore.
...*I thank God that my "Permanent Status Card" arrives already. This mean so much to me. I can now plan for a visit to my family in the Philippines.
...*I thank God that He continues to bless my blog with sponsored post, and thus, enables me to earn.
...*I thank God for all my blogging friends who always visit my blog and commented on my post. I appreciate them very much.
...*I thank God for the good health to both my husband and I, and prays that God will give us the job that are for us.
It doesn't stop there. There are so many things that we are so thankful to God and gave Him the praise for His goodness, love and mercy. He deserves the glory for all He has done in our lives.

Planning For The Philippine Trip

I am very happy today because my mother-in-law called us and announced to us that my Green Card has already arrived in the house and that they will forward the mail to us. Yes! I am so excited to have my card with me. Now, we can start planning for our visit to my family in the Philippines. Having a Green Card is very important to me. It will enable me to travel anytime and anywhere.

Talking about visiting my family in the Philippines, we want to stay in Singapore for a few days, too. There is something in that city that really attracts us; must be its popularity of their famous infrastructure and awesome sights and its booming industry. We were considering the thought of going there on our way going to Philippines. The good thing is that I just came across this great deal; Accor Hotels 3-Day Super Sale Asia Pacific . We can take advantage on this big savings if we book tonight or not later than 30th of October. Accor Hotels have one million hotel rooms across Asia Pacific at amazingly low rate starting US$30 per night for the stay period of December 2009 up to April 2010. This is perfect for us. This is something that we must not miss. We are both so excited about this trip.

If you are planning a trip to Asia, too, visit their website to be able to take advantage of great savings.

Congratulations To GE!

Sometimes, reading world’s updates made us feel so frustrated with all those business closing, sinking economy, unemployment and such, thinking that nothing good is happening around the world. But I came across on this “worth sharing” world’s update; Generational Equity is announced as a finalist for eleven M&A Annual Awards by Industry Group. The award giving will be held on December 14, 2009 in New York City.
.
Congratulations to all nominees including Generational Equity’s eleven nominations and more power to their company!

I love the pool. We used to swim there a lot when we came down to visit and now that we live here, we didn't have the chance to swim, not even once, because the water is cold lately and we have been very busy, too.
.
I love this place, the weather, the atmosphere and the fact that we have a family around us. I am so thankful to God that they placed us here.

Reliable Cargo Service In Miami

I am sad that some of our valuable stuff such as our wedding gifts, my stuff toys (which I miss so much), few newly bought bed sheet set and our picture frames (that could have adorn our empty walls right now) was left behind in Michigan. There was my husband’s favorite reclining seat, too. He misses it very much. We were hoping that somebody would come down here and do the favor of bringing those stuff for us here, but it looks like it will take a while before anybody can come down here by driving. Probably we will start to consider shipping them over.
.
Talking about shipping, I just found out that Schumacher Cargo located has specialized in both national and international cargo service to and from Miami since 1977. Their safety records for cargo, especially in household good shipment delivery have exceeded all industry standards. Their goal is to make their clients rest easy knowing that they are in the hands of a professional and reliable shipping company.
.
I wish we knew this service 3 weeks ago. We could have used this service for our moving and relocation needs. Maybe then, we will not missed out on some important stuff to be with us.

Quarter Collection -Update

I believe that some of you have remembered that I started collecting quarters 6 months ago and I was lacking 4 states then. Here is now my Quarter Collection update. So far, I am lacking only one state which is the Arkansas. Does anybody hold a quarter with Arkansas on it?
.
Anyway, I am so happy that I found this "Quarter of the United States" frame from Flea Market last Saturday. The moment I found it, I was not hesitating at all and bought it right away for only $2.
.
I really hope that I can find that Arkansas quarter and so that I can fill it in the one and only missed spot, then it will be complete.

Save Water Through Dual Flush

It has been 15 days since we move here in Florida. There are still a lot of task that we need to do. Being on our own gave us a lot of challenge on everything about living such as utilizing food supply, conserving power and water, managing time for productivity and being wise in spending. Although my husband said that he still feels like we are on vacation, both of us expect that sooner or later, pressures and problems will come our way that living will not feels like vacation anymore.
.
I was talking about conserving water. It is one of the most important things to do in every household, not just to minimize the bills, but also, it is realizing that in the other part of the country, people died of drought every day. Our water supply here in North America may be abundant, in which we are so thankful to God, but let us be aware that the day will come that water supply will possibly ran out. Let us therefore start looking for ways in conserving our water today.
.
Talking about conserving water, Dual Flush Toilets is one of the smart ways regarding this matter. An example is use in their website on how a family of 7 can save 49 gallons a day, or 18,000 gallons a year with Low-Flow Toilet . It is a large swimming pool of water! Does this sound interesting to you? The good news is that you don’t need to buy a new toilet. Visit their website through clicking on one of the highlighted words and it will lead you to their website and find out how you can get your Dual Flush Conversion Kit .
.
Let us save money while saving our earth by conserving the water before it will be too late.

Church Seeking #1 - Lighthouse Christian Church

My husband and I agreed that we will spend 8 Sundays seeking for a church congregation around Merritt Island, Florida, until we find a church congregation that has a good doctrine, healthy relationship to God and to each other, good "praise and worship" songs and above all, good prayer habit.
This is the first church we have been to since we move here in Merritt Island, Florida; Lighthouse Christian Church . It is only 5 minutes drive away from our place. They welcomed us warmly and let us sign on their visitors book. They give us fliers and hand to us a paper bag with something in it that I didn't care to find out. They started their service at 10 o'clock and we were seated comfortably 2 minutes before they started.
.
The music was great with four back up singers, and many kinds of instruments. My husband loved it. The members are friendly and warm. There was a song presentation by some members which was so beautiful. Very well conducted. The sermon's title was "What Your Family Needs Most" using the text Genesis 35:1-15, delivered by Pastor Bill Schoneman.
.
My first comment is that I think the Pastor is gifted in delivering the message with a sense of humor. I can't help but think that it was almost like a "One Man Stand Comedy" performance. Everybody was really laughing all the time. I realized, too, that there is nothing wrong with that. It may be the gift that God gave to him and obviously, he is effective on his ministry. We deal with each other in a different way, in according to the gift that was given to us. The most important thing is that we do our service with undevided heart and offered our service for the kingdom of God. The pastor is good. My husband likes him.
.
My other comment is that the "Praise & Worship" portion was spirit-filled, but...very short. It was only 1 praise song and 2 worship songs. I wish it was more than that because I believe that God takes pleasure in our offering of songs as in unison and it is one of the reasons why God created us, to worship Him as a congregation.
.
My last comment is that I see that this church has a good prayer habit. It is a good sign. I believe that prayer is the strongest foundation any church should have. Praise be to God for this church congregation.
.
And by the way, when we get home, I took out what was inside the paper bag that was handed to us, it was a medium-sized Banana-Nut Cake. Praise God again for that.

Being new residents here in Florida, we have to rely on the internet to find a place that we want to go and to get direction to where we have to go such as the Department of Health where I have to report for my treatment, or the Asian Market where I need to go to buy some Asian foods. I Have Rice Allergy?

Some of you must have remembered that I was complaining a lot about my hives everyday. We really can not pinpoint which one caused the hives because I ate different food everyday, and the hives comes out every night and getting worse than ever. Sometimes we thought it was from what I was using on my body such as body soap, shampoo, lotions or maybe the detergent powder; but after changing all of them, I still had the hives. I even had to stop taking my vitamins for a week to find out, but I still had it.
.
My husband and I were hoping that when we get here in Florida my hives will go away, but during my first 5 days here, I was having hives, too. Then, Charleen and Mary (both are my husband's cousin) suggested that I tried stop eating rice. I didn't think it was rice that caused it because I don't really eat rice everyday while we were in Michigan, but I had hives everyday then. Out of respect, I obeyed their suggestion and stop eating rice. It has been 6 days that I did not eat rice and I didn't have hives for 4 days now. Can it be the rice? Have we finally found the reason of my hives? They suggested that I start eating rice again tomorrow to see if the hives would come back again.
.
After my husband did some online research about rice allergy, he found out that some medication might have caused me to have rice allergies. This is so strange. I eat rice all my life and all of a sudden, I become allergic to rice. The kind of rice I ate here in USA is made in Thailand, brand name is "Jasmine". Is it possible that this rice have too much preservatives? Of course, when I was still in the Philippines, we bought our "own" (planted in the Philippines) rice.
.
We will find out after I will try eating rice again. Follow me on this.

Men’s Diamond Ring Speaks Of His Career Status

It is true that diamonds are women’s best friend, but another truth is that diamond rings can also be attractive on men, too. Men that are wearing diamond ring usually signify the status in their career. My husband used to wear one when he was still serving the country, and since he is not anymore, he has decided to set it aside. He is thinking of getting another one in the future. It will depend on how his new career will go.
.
While most men choose to wear plain gold ring, I am so thankful that our wedding rings both have diamond on it. They are very beautiful. We have agreed to add one more diamond when our 10th year wedding anniversary will come and another one when our 20th wedding anniversary will come and so on and so forth. We both like it that way. It displays beauty and strength of our relationship.
.
Talking about men's diamond rings , the image shown is the picture of what my husband would like to have. It is from the website of CleverEve.com. The diamonds on this band are of excellent G color, VS1-VS2 clarity. This men’s diamond ring is definitely an excellent choice to compliment any man’s attire. There are a whole lot more images of stunning diamond rings from this website. All their products are satisfaction guaranteed. Visit now and start looking for yourself or for the man of your life.

My Digital Camera And Me

It was almost a year ago when I bought my first digital camera here in USA. I can still remember how happy I was, with the thought that I can take my digital camera with me wherever I go, take pictures anytime I want and post the pictures on my blog. My husband laughed at me that I have to carry my camera every time we go somewhere. He also laughed at me that I took picture of every small thing that I seen around that I found interesting and something to talk about on my blog. This is what blogging did to me. (He-he-he)
.
Talking about camera, let me share to you a website that I just found, 42ndPhoto.com. It is a website where you can find good deals of digital cameras , digital picture frames, camcorders of any kind, LED flashlight and many other very interesting products. This store has been known for 40 years of good selling service. All their products are brand new with supply accessories and include USA warranty. Part of their website service is to give their customers expert advice and assistance. You can also place order by phone with this number: 1-888-810-4242. If you do so, ask about their free shipping offers and their free cleaning kit. Happy shopping and shop smartly!

Prayer & Fasting

One of the many things that I am so excited about living here in Florida is the thought that I can resume my monthly "prayer and fasting". I usually did it every last Saturday of the month when I was still in the Philippines together with my brothers and sisters in Christ. When I came to Michigan, I continued that activities because there were one vacant room. But... few months after, my husband's nephew moved to be with us and occupied that vacant room that I used for my "prayer and fasting" and that is why I stopped that regular activity. Oh how I miss doing it.
.
My purpose of prayer and fasting is to refocus on the things of the Lord and renew my mind, so that we can think and act more like Jesus. Its objective is to reflect on what God has said and done and on what He is like.
.
In Psalm 19:14, David wrote, "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord."
.
Let us fill our mind with Scripture and focus on the Lord's commands, promises and goodness. These are the things that give us strength, direction and wisdom that we need as we face our every day living.

Apartments Near ASU

My step-son went to College in Central Michigan and has to live in one of the apartments near the campus. He talks to his Dad every night telling him about his activities and all the fun he and his friends had been doing. Obviously, he is so happy and enjoying his independence. His Dad always reminded him not to step beyond the boundary. That reminds me when I have to leave our house to live in an apartment, too. The sense of independence was really beautiful and challenging at the same time. I wanted to prove to the world that I can live all by myself and I did.
.
Talking about apartment, I want to share something beautiful; this is especially for somebody who are studying in Arizona State University; Boulder Creek Apartments. It is located in the central area of Phoenix, Arizona. The place is clean, well-maintained, professionally-managed communities with affordable rent, where their residents can live in a comfortable atmosphere. Your choice of either one or two bedroom units with friendly staff, great service and a wealth of amenities. And what’s more is that they are offering 10% off for Arizona State University students.
.
So, if you are looking for Apartments Near Arizona State , Boulder Creek Apartments is the ideal place.

I Cut My Own Hair

I can't take it anymore. My hair is growing longer and longer that I didn't think it was looking great at all because it has dry ends and looked so unhealthy. Plus, the longer my hair goes, the more falling hair I had everytime I took shower. So, I talked to my husband about cutting my hair for few inches, which we had to debate over before I had him finally agreed with me.
.
He wouldn't cut it and I asked somebody I know around, they wouldn't either. What's wrong with them? Cutting few inches from hair is no big deal. I don't want to go to hair parlor to pay $10 for just few inches off from my hair. It is not about making style on my hair. I just want to refresh the ends of my hair.
.
So, what I did was I took a pair of shears, fine tooth comb and I faced the mirror. Yes, I cut my own hair. It was my first time doing it on myself and I thought it was hard, but it wasn't. I took 4 inches off my hair. It has been 16 months since I arrived here in USA, and I never had a hair cut since then. I am very happy that I have accomplished this task.

Lions For My Mobile Wallpaper

My husband and I are looking for a cellphone that I could use. I need to have one so that it will not be hard for both of us if he had to leave me or if one of us have to go somewhere else. The last cellphone that I had was when I was still in the Philippines. I never had one when we were in Michigan because I never needed it.
.
Talking about cellphone, I love placing cool wallpaper on it. The last wallpaper I had was a picture of animals. I love animals. If you like placing cool wallpaper on your cellphone, too, visit Mozoot-Mobile.us. Mozoot has a wide variety of any kind of mobile wallpaper such as car, animal, nature, automobiles, movies, landscape, cartoon, sports, Christmas and many more. The image shown is the wallpaper image that I like to have on my cellphone. Lions. Symbol of strength.
.
Go to Mozoot for more cool mobile wallpapers of your choice. It is easy to download wallpapers from Mozoot . Have fun!

I Am An Adopted Child

I have seen a lot of soap opera about living an abundant life since childhood, then all of a sudden, somebody broke the "secret" that has been kept for a long time that he/she is just an adopted child. The common response was that, it affected the person (adopted) very much because it has never occured to her/his mind that she/he is an adopted and start feeling miserable.
.
But as a Christian, we have a happy adoption. Every Christian is an adopted child of the King of kings. Adam and Eve's fall in the Garden of Eden has cause all mankind to belong to the King of the darkness which is Satan. But God loves us so much that He made a way to take us back to Him. He sent His only Son to be a sacrificial lamb, so that whoever would believe in Him will be forgiven from sins and will become God's children. That is the process of our adoption is.
.
As our heavenly Father, God desire for us is to live in a way that befits His children. Activities and values that are not in keeping with our position as God's children must be done away with. Selfish and destructive ways are to be replaced by activities and values that showcase our gratitude and love for God and reflect our status as His children.
.
I am happy to declare that I am an adopted child of God, are you?
.
"For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love, He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will— to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the One He loves." (Ephesians 1:4-6 NIV)

Introducing: My Amazing Online Store (My New Website)

I was looking for a new website for my “soon opening” online store. This will be one of my ways to build up money by selling my handicraft through website. Initial Furnishing

This is the initial furnishing of our house, after we bought a whole package of furniture from a neighbor in the next block, because that neighbor was selling her furniture for a very good price from bedroom furniture, twin bed, living room furniture to dining room furniture and kitchen stuff. Somebody said that it was like everything has just landed on our lap, and fortunately, it saves us from going around to find cheap furniture.

Obviously, there are still a lot of things needs to be done and be filled out for our home. We are taking this one at a time, and we have to be careful with our spending, too. One good thing here in Florida is that they have garage sale or yard sale all over this place every weekend, and I am taking chances on it. I am loving my life here in Florida. :)

2010 Cars Reviews

Sure enough that we took care of our car. But do we know what to do to take care of it? More and more cars break down every day because people fail to take care of them the right way. How can we better take care of our car to avoid unnecessary repair expenses? There are simple and easy things you can do to make sure your vehicle is up to the same standard as the day you purchased it!
.
*Start off by making sure your oil filter is changed every 3,000-4,000 miles so you don't have any major problems when it comes to that.
*Have all fluids such as brake, transmission, windshield washer and power steering fluid check regularly. This is a major part of taking care of your vehicles upkeep.
*Check your tire inflation at least once a month. This will help detect slow leaks that could possible lead to flats ahead of time.
*Check the battery and cables for signs of corrosion or grime. If your battery takes battery fluid, also make sure it's regularly checked.
*Have the lighting system check regularly also. This means all inside lights, headlights, turn signals and brake lights.
*Check windshield wiper blades for streaks or cracks rotate blades at least once a year to be safe.
*Check engine belt regularly, sometimes belts may be worn or have a tendency to get cracks.
*Change the air filter every time you change your oil just as a rule of thumb.
.
Here are some latest car reviews from TheCarConnection.com:
.
If you are into latest symbol, I suggest you go with 2010 Porsche . This car fills out its lineup with a truly spacious four-door that makes few compromises in its search for buyers seeking shattering power, great handling, and real room for four adults. Its cabin is a blend of leather, wood and plastic. Its ignition sits to the left of the steering wheel, with wide flanks surround the console and overhead controls.
.
If you are into style, I guess you would like 2010 Audi TT . Its Art Deco-inspired style made a much deeper impression than its less impressive performance. The seat and steering wheel design give the "interior a sporty feel." The flat-bottomed steering wheel helps the driver get into and out of the car. The TTS gets a host of other improvements inside to match its dressed-up exterior, including "more brushed aluminum, gray-faced instruments whose white needles perform a fashionable flick before start-up.
.
Another model that would surely break your neck is the 2010 Lamborghini . Oh, I know Lambo always been the “head-turner”. You have to be appealing enough to dare to drive on this very special car. It is in the list of the “too-hot-to-hold-onto” cars. As somebody says; “Lambo’s droptop fighter jet shows its face ahead of its official debut.”
.
And if you are into strength, 2010 Mazda CX-7 is perfect for you. It is a mid-size, five-passenger crossover designed to deliver the utility of a small SUV and the driving experience of a passenger car.” Autoblog commented that “Mazda has refined the CX-7 inside-and-out, including a redesigned front end with a larger five-point grille and different front and rear fascias.” Overall, Left Lane News reviewers indicate that the “most noticeable changes include larger side air-intakes, giving the CX-7 a much more aggressive look” that includes a hint of Mazda’s “familiar ‘smiling’ front grille.”

First Day Of Our Home

.
This is the place that we moved in. It was empty on the first day except for the 2 air mattress and computer desk that Orville, my husband's cousin lend to us. Orville and Mary (his wife) lives just a block away. I am so happy that we are neighbors.
.
Today, our place is semi-furnished. We had a good deal with the furniture from the other apartment that was planning to re-furnish her place. I will show you the picture in the next few days. I am so excited about our new home. This is all for now. :)

I Miss Our Movie Time

It is our 6th day here in our new home, and we are halfway in fulfilling everything that needs to be done. My husband was signing for postal mail service today, while I did the laundry of the new bed sheets that we bought yesterday. The pool outside our apartment was inviting, but because we were so busy we did not give in. There will be plenty of time for that as soon as everything is set.
.
Another thing need to be done is to sign up with Direct TV. Back in Michigan, we were using Direct TV, too. We just love its high definition channels and the service they give to us. If your TV is HDTV and you are not using Directtv, I would say that you are missing a lot. I suggest that you visit this website, DirectSatTv.com and see why 18 millions of households chose DirecTV. And why not, with its signal reliability, digital picture and sound on every channel, no equipment to buy and no start-up cost, these are enough reasons to say it is such a good deal. Avail of the Direct TV Packages which is $29.99 a month for over 150 all digital channels.
.
This is really very important to us because every after dinner is our movie time together, and we need a movie that we both agreed on. I miss our movie time already.

The Night Before We Left

This picture was taken the night before we left Michigan. Paige slept with us, she lied down behind me. That was her favorite spot. Then both my husband and I woke up so early that she looked wondering what was going on and why we woke up so early. She even wanted to ride with us in our car, and so was Fluffer.
.
I miss Paige. I miss her and Fluffer being with us on bed. I like being cozy together. Someday, (if God is willing) we will be going to visit Michigan and be able to see her and Fluffer again. How I wish we are allowed to take pets here in our new place, but we can't. On the other hand, it is better this way, so that we don't have to worry about them, especially if both of us get to work.
.
I just prayed to God that He will keep you safe always and in good health to last another winter there in Michigan, especially to Fluffer who is getting old.

Unlocked Mobile Phones

We have done pretty much things already. The next thing we will take care is to get each one of us a new phone. I didn’t have phone back there in Michigan because I didn’t need it there anyway, but I will need it here because we will both be working and be away from the house. For myself, I would like to have an iPhone.

Most iPhones (here in the US, anyway) are "locked" to a particular network. Should you want to use your iPhone with another GSM carrier, you need to unlock it. Unlocking lets you place calls with any GSM carrier by inserting different Subscriber Identity Modules (SIMs) into the phone. Normally these SIMs from unapproved carriers won't work. When your iPhone is unlocked, just buy a local GSM-compatible SIM, place it in your phone, and make your calls.

But to save trouble, I will lead you to the site that I just found; StarMobileShop.com. It is one of the largest Internet resellers of brand name Telecommunication products and consumer electronics products. They are the leading source of Unlocked mobile phones . For more information, just clicked on the highlighted words and it will lead you to their website.

I Was Sick

I was sick on our 3rd day stay here in our new house. It was probably because of new weather since we come from Michigan with a temperature of 65 and now we are in Florida with a temperature of 90. It might also be due to over-stress from thinking too many things, doing too many things that I neglected eating and drinking. Yes, I was dehydrated.
.
So, I had all day yesterday just resting on bed, and today, I am back to work. There are still many things need to be done such as looking around for cheap furniture, signing for Postal Office, etc... and I am taking it slowly for now.
.
I am so sorry that I did not visit your blog lately. I am sure you understand though. I will make it up to you as soon as I can.

A Stop At Tennessee

This picture was taken at Tennessee on the second day of our trip. We stop for the night at the Comfort Hotel somewhere in Tennessee. We woke up so early in the morning, and enjoyed the free continental breakfast they offered. And if you noticed, I have banana and apple on my hands that I grabbed from their dining room to be eaten on the way.
.
Tennessee is really a beautiful place with awesome mountains. I have only seen some portion of it. There are many interesting places that worth visiting, including those that we have been to already. I told my husband that whenever we can, we will go back to Tennessee to see those interesting places that they are advertising on the high-ways such as Ruby Falls, Rock City and many more.
.
The very important thing was that we had a very comfortable sleep, plus my husband did not have to miss his favorite weekly show "Monk".

My friend in Michigan is planning to visit her parents in the Philippines again, and every time she does, she makes sure that she lost weight to make herself look more presentable. Meeting With My Special Friends In Ohio

Beth Ann Lirot. She was my friend (in Ohio) that I was talking about. We met through playing Yahoo! online domino and came to Philippines to see me in person and to hand me personally her gift, a television. How awesome! She came to the Philippines twice and we (together with my bestfriend in the Philippines) had a good time together.
.
She died from some serious health problem. I was still in the Philippines then. I just sent my eulogy and requested somebody to read it on her funeral. How I wish I was there on her funeral day.
One of my wishes (since I am here now in USA) was to visit Beth's tomb and to meet these wonderful people that are very special to my dear friend, Beth. On our way going down here in Florida, my husband and I agreed that we will stop by shortly to Ohio to fulfill my wish. Above photo was taken in the cemetery (where Beth was buried) with Lynn (Beth's best friend) and Charles (Lynn's husband). I am so happy to be able to finally meet Lynn, whom I have been talking through emails and phones for a long time already.

Right after from cemetery, we went to Beth's house and there I had the chance to meet her very kind husband, Scott, whom I had been talking for a long time before and after Beth died.
Minutes after, Kevin (Beth's brother) came to see me, too. (Thanks for coming, Kevin.) I have been talking to Kevin for a while already, before and after Beth died. He is like a brother to me.
.
I believe that somebody up there was very happy on what had taken place. Beth must have been smiling as she saw that her love-ones had finally met me; the one she was always happily talking about.
.
Thank you very much for that lovely day, Lynn, Charles, Scott and Kevin. You have no idea how all of you had made me very happy on that day. May God gave us a chance to see each other again in the future. God bless all of you.
