This day was so strange. My good friend, Lynn, in Ohio emailed me, told me that the father of our late-friend Beth passed away the other day... and that an hour after that, the father of Beth's husband passed away, too. They are both suffering cancer. This afternoon, my dad-in-law were trying to call us while we were in the Church. After we had lunch, my husband called Dad and there was the breaking of another sad news, Uncle Skipper (my mom-in-law's brother) just passed away this morning.

Have Fun While Learning Mathematics
When we were still in Michigan, my husband was in College and had to stop because of his health problem. He still has one semester to go and he’ll be over it. He is planning to resume it here in Florida, but is still undecided about it. He wants me to go to College, too. I don’t know about myself. I feel like I can’t handle the stress, especially for subjects that are related to Mathematics. What happened to me? I feel like I have tremendously changed, healthwise, after a while of being here.

The Blind Side
One of the many Christmas gifts we received from my husband's relatives was a couple of movie card to Cobb's Theater at Merritt Square Mall. Together with Orville, Mary, Ed, Annette, my husband and I went to see the movie "The Blind Side" last night. It was really a good movie, especially because it is about Football, which my husband and his family are so fond of.
The movie is based on extra ordinary true story of life of Michael Oher, a homeless African-American youngster from a broken home, is taken in by the Touhys, a well-to-do white family who help him fulfill his potential. At the same time, Oher's presence in the Touhys' lives leads them to some insightful self-discoveries of their own. Living in his new environment, the teen faces a completely different set of challenges to overcome. As a football player and student, Oher works hard and, with the help of his coaches and adopted family, becomes an All-American offensive left tackle.
The main casts of the movie are Sandra Bullock (which we both are fond of), Tim McGraw and Quinton Aaron. This movie is directed and written by John Lee Hancock. This is an ideal movie for the entire family.

Your Safety Services
I have seen a lot of movie that shows hi-tech ways of having access to a certain room or computer machine by using fingerprints, using eye’s pupil or voice biometrics. Whoever invented it, it was a smart idea. We even marvel at those great inventions, but oftentimes, intruders always find ways to get the access either in good ways or in wicked ways.
Well, I believe that these are very essentials, especially nowadays that terrorisms are spreading all over the world. We just saw on TV news a while ago about the attempt terrorism action on the plane from Amsterdam to Detroit. I am sure many were so relieved that nothing happened.
If you are looking for website about the high-tech security system, vecommerce.com is one of them. Their market is about voice security system . Yes, this system works by speech recognition, and it open a lock of either in your house or in a particular room in your house. And I found out, too, that more and more home owners are having this system in their establishments.
VeCommerce assists organizations deliver exceptional customer interactions! This is achieved through a detailed analysis of existing customer processes and the development and provision of applications that utilize speech recognition , voice biometrics and other related interaction technologies. For more interesting information about biometric software , I suggest that you visit their website.

Merry Christmas America!
Merry Christmas to all here in USA! I hate to post how happy I was today, while I am aware that a family member and a blogger friend are in distress right now. But God deserves my gratefulness for all the blessings that He bestowed on me and on my husband. I believe that He personally bless me and my husband, to give back the glory to Him. To God be the glory!
Early this morning, while I was preparing for our breakfast, Aunt Kathy called my husband through cellphone to have us come to her apartment for the Christmas hug. Good thing I was not starting with the main dish yet, so it was alright to leave right away what I was doing.
We went to Aunt Kathy's apartment, hug everybody and... then, we were surprised that we got Christmas gifts from everybody. All these stuff that are on the table, including the table cloth were all gifts from Aunt Kathy, Aunt Sallie-Jean, Ed & Annette, Orville & Mary. I was really so in awed. They are such a wonderful persons. I am so blessed to have them as my family here in USA. God is really so good. May God bless them and give back to them a hundredfold.

To Purchase Gold
Here in our complex, there are a lot of old occupants who have been retired from their beloved profession and are now receiving monthly money from their insurances. That is what my husband and I want to happen when we get old.
There are some retirees that are smart. They spent their money in buying gold as an investment. An expert says that if you start to purchase gold coin this year, by the year 2015, it will cost 3 times the amount you invested.
Gold is so stable and so valuable that it is always recovered and recycled. Gold is an ultimate asset. It is the purest form of money, and the oldest, most durable wealth-preserving asset on the planet. There is no true "consumption" of gold in the economic sense; the stock of gold remains essentially constant while ownership shifts from one party to another.
GoldCoinsGain.com is Aurum Advisors most comprehensive resource for gold coins and gold bullion acquisition. This is the best site on where to find such easily accessible information on just about every physical gold topic under the sun. Therefore, if you are interested to learn everything about gold, you can educate yourself from their site.

Merry Christmas Philippines!
I woke up early this morning because it was Christmas eve today and I was talking to my friends, family and especially to my mama on Yahoo Messenger and on my new cellphone that my husband gave me for my Christmas gift.
.
Most of us knows that Philippines is 13 hours ahead from USA and that was why they celebrated Christmas earlier than we do here.
.
This is my second Christmas time here in USA with my husband. I miss being in the Philippines on this time of the year. My husband and I are hoping that by next Christmas we will be in the Philippines, because I want him to experience what kind of Christmas we have in the Philippines. It is totally different there, the midnight mass, the childrens & adult carolling, multiple Christmas party, exchange gifts, videoke, family, foods... foods... and foods. Oh, I am homesick again. The word PASKO is a Filipino language. It means Christmas.
.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY IN THE PHILIPPINES! I MISS YOU ALL VERY MUCH!

Time For Computer Cleaning
I have been very busy doing a general cleaning to our house. This is why I didn't have too much time doing my online obligations. After Christmas day, I will be doing other kind of cleaning, and that would be on this computer. I will need to deleted a whole bunch of images, videos and articles from my file. I don’t remember anymore when was the last time that I cleaned this computer, but I believe it has been quite a while already. And I am looking forward to have a large available space on my file again, probably I’ll start looking for something interesting to store in my computer again.

Online Help For Your Math Problems
When I was still in school in the Philippines, we had two weeks school vacation every last two weeks of the year. It should have been relaxing weeks for students, but some professor didn’t think so. They always give us homework to do while on vacation. Although subjects that are related with science and calculation such as Algebra, Geometry, Physics, Chemistry, etc., were my favorite subject, (opps, don’t get me wrong) but they were not my highest rated subjects. I just find it very challenging memorizing the right formula. Talking about Math, it has huge applications in real life and it is also helpful in solving problems in Physics, Chemistry and Statistics. However, I believe that it has to do with the way the professor explained it. If he or she explained it in a boring way, there is no way that we will love and learn the subject. Your only chance would be in the self-study.
.
Talking about self-study; today’s students specifically for K-12 and college have the advantage of online tutoring . If you need an online Math tutoring , TutorNext.com is an online way to learn. They provide high-quality one-on-one supplemental education for K-12 and college students. Their Assignment Help and Online Tutoring services are convenient and affordable that students can connect to a tutor as often as they need help and just when they are ready to learn.
.
So, for your statistics help , chemistry help , Precalculus help or any math problems , seek help from TutorNext.com. My husband and I were talking to his old friends who had just recover from what seems was a nightmare. Meet Beth & Ann
I want you to meet my friends, Beth and Ann. The one wearing sapphire blue got the name Beth, because she really look like my late-friend, Beth. Very sophisticted and classy. She was actually a model in her prime age. This doll really reminds me of her.
.
The other doll in a purple is Ann. She is a clown. I named her after my best friend in Cebu, Ann. She makes everybody laugh. She is a good entertainer and a good conversationalist. She is very dear to me.
.
Both of them were dear to me and I miss them very much. Actually, I got these dolls from Beth's properties. Her husband had me pick whatever I want from her stuff before he had to turn them to Goodwill. He was about to move to another state and that was why he was giving away some of his stuff including some designer leather sofas . Along with Raggedy Ann & Andy, I got these two lovely little dolls, too. I just love collecting dolls. I have a lot of them in the Philippines. I have few that we left in Michigan and I hope that my parents-in-law will bring them over when they come down next year to visit us, because I miss them so much, too.

Christmas Cards
"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests." (Luke 2:14 NIV)
.
I sent out our Christmas cards to the Philippines the other week. I sent out our Christmas cards for friends and relatives (from the other states) this afternoon. I am not done. I still have to write more Christmas cards, but those are for our relatives and friends that are in our neighborhood. I might just hand the cards to them, or slide them on their door. Whatever will come to my mind. I still have tomorrow to do it. I know it is already 21st of December now, but it is still 4 days away.
.
We are receiving Christmas cards already, too. They are from all over the US. It completed the spirit of Christmas in our home. Although we did not put up any Christmas decoration in our home this time, but the Christmas cards that we are receiving does a big part. May we all have a merry Christmas, both in heart and in spirit.

Wishing For A Jacuzzi Tub
I am very happy with our new apartment here in Florida. It is very clean on both inside and outside. We have very friendly neighborhood and very accessible to almost everything. We have relatives surrounding us. We could not ask for more.
.
Although this place was not a brand new apartment when we moved in here, but they had replaced the floor tiles on both the bathroom and the kitchen. They also replaced the refrigerator and stove. They repainted all over. There is one thing though that my husband wanted to replace, it is the bath tub. Unfortunately, the apartment management didn’t consider it necessary to do so, because the tub is still in good shape, if not for those few slight stains from the previous occupant.
.
My husband had always wanted a Jacuzzi tub. It is good for his health. We had one from the house he sold. Dad & Mom’s house also had one, and we took advantage using it at least once a month. Although we both know that we can’t afford right now to replace our bath tub, still we were looking online for Jacuzzi tubs . There’s no harm in doing. The picture shown is the one that I like, Jacuzzi Uma Whirlpool Bath from FountainDirect.co.uk. I like the style. It has ergonomic corner seat that doubles as a toiletry shelf, soft headrest and ample proportions for the ultimate in luxury. Jacuzzi prices on this website are amazingly low, because they drop down the prices to some of their products. Jacuzzi bathrooms uk are all fantastic, made of highest quality materials and satisfaction guaranteed. Visit their website for more styles.

Still Thinking For A Gift For My Husband
Oh my goodness! It is 21st of December and I still can't figure out what to buy for my husband as a Christmas gift. We agreed not to buy to each other something that we don't need. He already got something for me, but I can't touch it, not until morning of Christmas Day. I know what it is and it is something that I really need.
I asked him what he wants me to buy for him, he said he needs new pants. Good thing or not a good thing, my husband gained more than 10 pounds (3 inches waistline) since we moved in here. It means that all his pants became tighter. I told him that I can buy him pants, but I don't think that getting new pants would be the solution. I can only buy him at least two pairs, and of course, we will need to have more than that. If he don't do something with it, basically, he will have to get a whole set of new clothes. So, I told him to do something to lose 3 inches from his waistline. There can be a lot of ways in accomplishing it such as exercise, proper diet, alternative diet pill, working out or a tummy tuck . Then, I could get him something more special for his Christmas gift.

Relax In This Luxury Living Room Set
On my past posts, I was talking about having a new Filipino friend here in our neighborhood. She just came here in Florida a month ago. We happened to met at the MICHA Christmas Party at the office last Thursday. Of course, without hesitating, I was asking her if she is a Filipino and she affirmed it, and boom! We were then inseparable. Both of us are so happy that we found each other and that we are neighbors. Her husband invited us (my husband and I) over their apartment. As we enter the living room, at once my husband threw a meaningful look at me. It was the living room furniture. Theirs and ours living room furniture were exactly similar. Obviously, there are still in the process of furnishing their place, too. Just like us.
Talking about furnishing our house, eRoomService.com is where you can find the finest collection of modern furniture from top Italian and European designers. They are renowned for having one of the largest, exclusive and comprehensive modern furniture selections in United States. They are proud to represent the most established and innovative Italian furniture manufacturers and offer products with exceptional quality and original European design.
Take a look at this photo, a Baltimore Designer Italian Leather Sofa Bed . Did you just say it is beautiful? Well, are you joking? It is awesome! I fell in love with it. You should see their modern bedroom furniture, too, and it will make you feel want to dream every minute of your life.

No Internet Connection
If you have noticed that I had not been online since Saturday, it was because I can't get internet connection. To be honest, we really don't have internet connection yet, because we just moved in and we need to have certain proofs or papers to be able to apply for internet connection. And besides that, it is also the financial situation that kept us, because we were thinking that there are still much more important on the list to be prioritize, and since we were able to grasp connection from neighborhood, that was why we were putting aside that task.
.
Yes, that is true. We are using somebody's connection through our antenna. I didn't realized it was wrong at all. It was doing great on the first few days, then, it became slower... until we were totally shut off. I thought the only reason that it was wrong because we didn't asked persmission, then I realized it could have an effect on their connection if we are using them at the same time, it could slow down their connection. And besides, we really didn't know whose connection we were riding on. Maybe that was the reason that we were not able to use internet anymore because they were shutting us off. They have the right to do so though.
.
It is very hard for my husband to stay away from the internet, too, because he needs to study and do more research about Business Management . Right now, we moved the computer table close to the window with the hope that we can get connection, and fortunately, we got "Mary and Orville"s connection. They are my husband's cousin, and he called them about it, and of course, it was very fine with them. In this way, we are free from guilt in using somebody's internet connection. Thank God!

Where Are You Going To Spend The New Year's Eve?
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of DiscoverLosAngeles.com. All opinions are 100% mine.

When I was still in the Philippines, I always made sure that I was not home on every New Year’s Eve. I either joined a community party that was held somewhere or be in a park with friends. Don’t ask me why because you may think that I am silly.
Last New Year’s Eve, my husband and I spent it in a dance hall with some of his relatives. It was such a wonderful night with delectable smorgasbord of heavenly foods. There was classic music and the best part was the watching of the fireworks which were so grand. I love the feeling of bidding farewell to 2009 (with thanksgiving on everything that it brought with) in a way of celebrating in style.
We were discussing how are we going to spend our New Year’s Eve this time. We could spend it on a cruise ship as he likes to do it very much, or going to Los Angeles to visit our newlywed cousin who, at the same time invited us over to visit them. My husband and I would love the feeling of bidding farewell to 2009 (with thanksgiving on everything that it brought with) in a way of celebrating in style at one of the premier los angeles hotels . We were looking at the Portofino Hotel & Yacht Club, Redondo Beach. The place is just so marvelous where you can watch the glamorous sunset or just keep an eye out for dolphins and sea lions.
If you are interested, too, check for LA new year's eve hotel specials . If you are planning to spend the New Year’s Eve there, make your reservations now at one of the beautiful hotels in los angeles . May you have a wonderful and happiest new year 2010.

Another Gloomy Day
It was such a gloomy day here in Florida today. This is Florida, 2 days sunny and 2 days chilly. We woke up very late this morning, and I can't believe it, 7:00 a.m. was still almost dark.
.
I was bored in the house, but I don't want to go out when it is raining outside. I don't want to get sick. My husband always laugh at me when I said that. I wonder why people here don't believe me that I get sick if I go out in the rain. Is this an american thing?
.
Anyway, I don't want to be sick again. I don't have my health insurance yet. This is one of the things that we have not taken care of yet along with taking driving lesson, new license plate and getting state ID. And talking about driving lesson, we are looking at Motor Trade Insurance and its information.
For the updates of what we have accomplished lately; we already opened a new joint bank account here in our place, we already got my new phone, change the address of our SSN personal data. But there are still more things in the list. We are taking them one by one.

A Perfect Gravy From Club House
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Club House. All opinions are 100% mine.
When I was still in the Philippines, I only have gravy on my fried chicken, but when I came here in USA, I learned to have gravy not only on my friend chicken, but also on my “sunny side up” egg, turkey and on some vegetables, too. On our first day here in Florida, Mary invited us to have breakfast over their house and oh boy, she made the best gravy that I ever had. I realized, I definitely have to learn how to make gravy. In speaking of gravy, have you heard of Club House Gravy? They have this great product and the options to add roast drippings to the Club House mix to make great gravy. Gravy really plays important role in completing a superb dinner, especially for this Christmas. Club House Gravy mixes provide a dependable, easy and consistent way to deliver awesome gravy our family will love.
Never say that you can’t make a perfect gravy. A gravy tips video is provided for you to teach you step by step on how to make that mouth-watering gravy for the season holiday’s dinner. ClubHouse.ca is really a good website for anybody like me who have a passion in cooking. Be sure to look for their newsletter sign-up and contest entry . Happy Farming
I started farming (in Farm Town) last July prior to my families and friend's (in the Philippines) request, because they are farming, too. For a while I was addicted to this game, especially during my first few weeks. I was almost on the computer for the whole day and night because of the pressure to level up. But those days are gone. I am now slowing down. I don't work with other farms anymore. In fact, there are days that I don't touch my farm at all because I was busy.
.
But the other night, my friend told me that they have something new stuff available for purchase in the Farm Town. I went there and saw them... Christmas stuff. I was inspired to see the snow and the big snow pine. So, I purchased them and place them on my farm. I miss the snow, and I am glad that I can have snow, at least on my farm. Happy Farming! :)

Gifts That Speaks Love
It is the 18th of December, and we are still not done with the gift shopping. My husband had just decided to give cash for the adults and we sent them already yesterday. But we will still have to buy toys for our grandkids. I hate shopping for gifts on these last few days before Christmas. The malls are all crowded and the lines for the counters are always longer. I suggested to my husband that we will just do online shopping this time. In this way we save time going from one store to another store. Also, most online store nowadays offers fast shipping services due to the season.
.
I always have a special way of picking up a gift for kids. I go for something that would make them feel special by giving them something that they just can’t find from the kid next door. LoulousCorner.com is an online specialty boutique that has the perfect gift for everyone. If you are looking for cool, colorful and unique kid’s gifts, Lou Lou Corner is the perfect place that you need to go. I love their Jellycat toys – they are just outstanding. Their Appaman apparels reflect the whimsical spirit of those youthful times. Or you may want to give the young ones any of the Barefoot Dreams products. It is made of luxurious and soft high quality materials that will make them their favorites. These are the kinds that will make them always remember who gave the gift.
.
Plus, they ship free for orders over $65.00. Well, why don’t you just check on their website to see for yourselves?

A Peek On My Gift List
Today was the day that we partially sent out the Christmas cards for our family, relatives and friends. More will be sent out in the next few days. My husband and I were discussing about the gifts that we will give to our love ones. Of course, gifts will vary according to the kid or adult that you will give gifts to. We will be busy again tomorrow to figure out what and where to purchase the stuff for gifts.
.
I told my husband that when it comes to women’s gift, I can take charge of that. I already have in mind where to go shopping for ideal women’s gifts. It is in BeautySak.com. They have everything you can think of to give to women from hair care to new mom. They offer free shipping on orders of $50 and above.
.
Let me give you a peek on my list here. I have the Molton Brown line products. They are not really very expensive but their scents are awesome. It feeds the mind and refreshes your perspective on life. I also have in my list the Kai Body line products, too. Their products bring the idea to life by using exotic fragrance and natural essences in a light and intoxicating scent which I like very much. Another one that I have on my list is the Liquid Keratin and the Keratin Complex hair line products. This is every woman’s must-haves. Their products are world-wide known for its awesome result and beauty that it brought. I would like to say that their products are what should call “the woman’s best helper”.

Have Fun In A Good Way
Most of the people finds Christian lives as boring and lifeless. Perhaps that is one of the reason why they distant themselves because they are thinking that they don't want to be a part of a boring life. The truth is, we are so preoccupied in maintaining our dignity and denying the urge of the flesh which contribute negative effect on our lives. The world thought we are joyless and is not allowed to enjoy life. That's an odd attitude, though, since we're joined to a God who has given us His wonderful gift of joy and laughter.

You Gotta Know When To Hold 'Em
Since we came here in Florida, my husband was always invited by his cousin, Orville, to go with him playing poker. I don’t know so much about poker because I care less about it. But according to my husband, Texas holdem is the game that has gained popularity in the last few years. If you play this game online or in casinos or private parties there are some things you need to know about this game. First of all whether you’re a novice player or consider yourself an expert, there are some tools that can help you win more consistently.
My husband added that some people think that any ace is good, and some will stay with suited connectors. If you want to learn a few tricks of the trade, watch this Poker Videos from FlopTurnRiver.com . This game has a lot to do with luck but better than that you need to know your hands odds of winning, check out this site to see what are the Poker Odds Chart your hands have.
My husband told me also that you can’t be depending on luck and chasing hands that probably won’t win even if you hit on the river. You need to know when to bluff, when to be aggressive and when to play it slow. He have seen people play bad hands against good hands and won, the real reason they won with those bad hands is because the one with the good hand let the player stay in the hand by not betting the correct way. You also have to know how to play the player. That last statement is probably the most important part of the game. So if you want to win more consistently use the Poker Tools provided on the given website and remember that no one wins every time and there will be some bad beats , just don’t be surprised when it happens and be happy when it works.

Fish & Clams
It has been awhile that I really want to eat fried fish and clams. Since lately that I have been homesick, I had to make myself comfortable by eating what I want, doing what I want and going where I want.
.
This day, I asked my husband to take me to the fish market at Cape Canaveral and we bought this fish and clams. I can't believe we spent $20 for just one fish, but I am sure it will be worth it. My husband never had clams and he is not too fond of fish, too.
.
The dinner was served, he was surprised thatboth fish and the clams doesn't taste as he thought, and he really like them very much. I am glad that he does. It really feels good when you share somebody you like to somebody who is dear to you. We had a very good dinner and we thank God for that.

I Am Homesick!
The very thing that I feared had arrived a week ago... to be homesick. I hate this feeling. It always attacks at the moment that I lay down on bed. I started thinking of my family and friends in the Philippines, then I cried. I started to wonder if I will ever be in my country again. This is not easy for me. I kept this from my husband because I didn't want him to know, then, I realized I should tell him about this.
.
Here are some tips that I found on the internet about overcoming homesickness:
*Remember to get enough food and sleep. Proper rest and nutrition are important to emotional as well as physical well-being
* Overcoming homesickness is a gradual process for most. Give yourself time to adjust, it won't happen overnight!
*Acknowledge that you are feeling homesick. It is a very natural and common response for individual who leave home.
*Talk to someone. If you have not yet made friends here, then set up an appointment time to meet with friends.
*Keep in touch with people at home and fix a time to go back but place a limit on telephone usage. Tell or write to them about your activities and experiences.
*Plan a date to go home and make arrangements. This helps to curtail impulsive home visits and helps ease the adjustments process.
*Put up some photos of home, family and friends on your bulletin board.
*Establish a routine as soon as possible. The fuller your days are, the less time you will have to feel homesick or lonely.
*Make contacts and friends through shared activities such as sport or other interests. There are so many clubs within the city, that you are very likely to find something that suits your particular interests.

Have You Thought A Gift For Your Hubby Yet?
Christmas Day is just a few days away from now. This will be my second Christmas time with my husband and it feels exciting as it was with the first time. It is so amazing how time flew by so fast. I had passed the six seasons here in USA; I had beheld the beauty of the fall and had survived the terror of the winter, and now it is winter again.
.
If you are financially tight and are looking for an ideal Christmas gift for your husband, father, grandfather, uncle or a brother, I believe that a replica watches would be the perfect for Christmas gift. I like the thought that if I give him a watch, it will remind him the length of time we had spent together here in his country… and for the rest of our lives.
.
I found this Rolex Daytona Replica in PerfectWatches.net. It is a luxurious piece from their collection of Rolex replica watches. A shimmering jeweled watch face encased in gold. Its movement is automatic and has 38 mm in diameter. It has solid forged case construction, 440 grade stainless steel. I am sure my husband would like this. I am sure any man would be happy to receive this.
.
For somebody like us that can’t afford to buy the original watches, this replica Rolex watches can be the closest to the original for the price and beauty that we can afford. Their collection of fake Rolex watches reaches deep into the watchmaker's catalog for all of their finest designs. From the most popular and ubiquitous Rolex watch designs, to the most obscure and under-rated, they have all of the best in Rolex replicas. Any imitation Rolex watch that you can imagine you will find at a better price in their vast and ever expanding collection of replica watches.
.
Time is free, but it's priceless.
You can't own it, but you can use it.
You can't keep it, but you can spend it.
Once you've lost it you can never get it back.”

I Was Rushed To Emergency Room
It has been over a week that I had problem every time I use the toilet room. Six days ago, I started to feel pain on my lower back all the way to the front. It feels like an extremely tight belt wrapped around my waist. Monday night, the pain became unbearable and my fever reached to 103 degree, so my husband rushed me to the nearby hospital in Cocoa Beach.
.
After the test, the finding was that I have UTI. They gave me medication both for the pain and for the infection. On the following two days, I can't get myself out from the bed because the medication made me feel so weak. I lost my appetite and was vomitting.
.
My pain medication is over tonight. But my infection medication will still be going on for another five days. I am feeling good right now, and I am hoping that I will stay this way from now on.

Christmas Gift Ideas
I was talking about Christmas gift on my past posts. If you are having problem deciding what to give for Christmas, let me share to you these ideas; theatre or concert tickets. Let yourself be a part of their most memorable moments by giving them a ticket as a gift.
.
If you need suggestions, here are few, In The Heights Broadway Show . They will be in Richard Rogers Theatre from December 12, 2009 to May 30, 2010. In the Heights tells the universal story of a vibrant community in Manhattan's Washington Heights – a place where the coffee from the corner bodega is light and sweet, the windows are always open, and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. It's a community on the brink of change, full of hopes, dreams and pressures, where the biggest struggles can be deciding which traditions you take with you, and which ones you leave behind. They have accumulated 4 Tony Awards as BEST MUSICAL, BEST SCORE, BEST CHOREOGRAPHY and BEST ORCHESTRATIONS. For your Richard Rogers Theatre Tickets , click on the highlighted words.
.
What about a ticket to Taylor Swift Concert ? She will be having concerts in various cities of USA from February 6, 2010 all through June 5, 2010. For Taylor Swift Tickets . It will also give you the information about the area and schedule of her concerts.
.
Another suggestion can be a ticket to The American Airlines Center in Texas . It is an arena located in the Victory Park neighborhood near downtown Dallas, Texas that is used for hockey games, basketball games, football games, concerts and various other events. This arena is full-packed of must-see events that everybody would not want to miss, such as Bon Jovi Concert, Black Eyed Peas Concert and many, many more. For American Airlines Center Tickets , click on the highlighted words.

Car For Christmas Gift! A big "Wow"!
For me and for everybody else, receiving a car for Christmas gift would be fantastic. No, I am not wishing that my husband can read this. He can’t afford to give me a car now. (he-he-he) But to those who are planning to give a car for somebody they love, I am giving you some tips on purchasing a car;
*Look underneath the car, check for rust, etc...
*Do not just base the car on how good the tires are. Check that the oil has no white gunk on the oil cap if it does ...avoid it.
*Ask to start the car and let it run for 5 to 10 minutes to make sure it doesn't overheat.
*Check all locks work, lights, brakes, wipers, heating and the stereo. Take it for a test drive.
.
Let me share to you some of the latest car reviews from TheCarConnection.com. If you are into nicely proportion car, Hyundai Sonata is for you. It comes in three trim levels, all with essentially identical styling: GLS, SE, and Limited. From the outside, “most casual observers would be hard-pressed to tell the difference" from the recent exterior face-lift, opines Leftlane News. Kelley Blue Book comments "some might argue the Sonata design is also somewhat generic"; however, they praise "the Sonata's new styling, even if it's squarely on the conservative side" and "don't see any single design feature likely to turn anybody away from the car." MyRide.com thinks "the Sonata remains refreshingly clean and spare, with sharply angled headlight housings and a quiet, clean-cut grille topped with a sliver of chrome."
.
If you are into appeal, the GMC Yukon Hybrid is right for you. It has a few aerodynamic changes, along with “hybrid” badges and graphics differentiate it from the nonhybrid version. Cars.com also points out that the GMC Yukon Hybrid 2009 sports "lower side cladding and unique 18-inch wheels" that all help to reduce drag and work with the hybrid powerplant to improve fuel economy. Its features include rear liftgate with a one-piece aluminum door featuring a fixed glass window," while "an extended rear spoiler improves aerodynamics, as do the sharp-edged D-pillars. The interior of the 2009 Yukon Hybrid is universally appreciated by TheCarConnection.com and other reviewers alike.
.
You might like the GMC Yukon . Its lineup hasn't changed much since the revamped versions arrived in the 2007 model year. They're handsome machines, with good proportions and a minimum of unnecessary detailing. Many car reviewers praise the Yukon's "handsome styling" and its “big and muscular” look. It has a big GMC grille framed simply by tall headlamps, and big windows are in good proportion to the Yukon's tall side metal. The Yukon's interior has slight differences depending on seating configuration; six-seat versions have a high dash without a center console, while five-seat versions get a wide center storage console. Either shows off a quantum leap in interior quality and styling for the big SUV. There's a wide swath of wood grain trim on some versions, as well as softly rounded corners, tight-fitting, tightly grained plastics, and options for fine leather seats.
.
My last cars review for today, but definitely not the least, because this is my favorite, Porsche. Guess what? Editors at TheCarConnection.com are big fans of Porsche, too. The overall look of a Porsche car is elegant and purposeful. Porsche is also known for designing the first Volkswagen. For more information about Porsche, check on car encyclopedia and enjoy learning a lot of facts in there.

Thankful Thursday - Glorify Him With Thanksgiving
It has been awhile since I last posted my "Thankful Thursday". I feel so sorry about it. It seems that there were always something that came up every Thursday that disabled me to make my entree of "Thankful Thursday". Anyway, I am so happy that I am here again with my entree of "Thankful Thursday". To God be the glory! Before I go on with my list, I would like to highlight this verse;
.
"I will praise God's name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving." (Psalm 69:30 NIV)
.
...*I thank God for our new home church here in Merritt Island. Both my husband and I are happy to be a part of this church that we choose. May He bless the church (members), the ministries and the pastor & family.
...*I thank God that my hives subsides now that we are here in Florida.
...*I thank God that He is with us, strengthen our lives as a couple and as an individual.
...*I thank God that He helps us, guides us and rebukes us (too) in the journey that we are taking now.
...*I thank God for the letter that arrived for me from my mama.
...*I thank God for all the family and friends that surrounds us here in our new home. May they see the love of God in our lives and glorify God.
...*I thank God that He continues to bless my blog with sponsored post, and thus, enables me to earn. May He bless my advertisers and their endeavors.
...*I thank God for all my blogging friends who always visit my blog and commented on my post. I appreciate them very much. May He bless all your blogs, too.
...*I thank God for the good health to both my husband and I, and prays that God will give us the job that are for us.
It doesn't stop there. There are so many things that we are so thankful to God and gave Him the praise for His goodness, love and mercy. He deserves the glory for all He has done in our lives.

Window Blinds For Our Next Project
On my past post, I was talking about obsession in house decorating as a new home owner. As the homemaker, it is very difficult for me to put aside house decorating, especially if I can see something beautiful for our house at a very reasonable price. Indeed, house decorating can be so overwhelming. But I told my husband that how our house will look like will reflect on my personality. I am the housewife, and it is my duty to make our house beautiful.
.
One of our next projects for our house is to buy window blinds. My husband’s choice of house decorating motif is something with a touch of Asian, because obviously, he loves Asian. He wouldn’t have married me if he didn’t. J And that is why he likes this wood blinds . The image shown is Hunter Douglas Country Woods blinds. It would look perfect on our living room with our bamboo indoor plant. This is made of fine quality wood finish. I found this blind from BlindSaver.com. They have a wide selection of colors, details, specs and designs on blinds. Their prices are unbelievably low compare to the famous stores and some online stores. They offer free ground shipping, too. If you are planning to buy window blinds, I suggest that you visit their site first and compare the prices.

My Root Was From Spain
Ever since I was in high school, I was hoping to find somebody with the same family name that I have. Closas. I even promised to myself that I will introduce myself and will treat her or him as a family. I am the only one child of the second marriage of my parent. My father was the only child, too. Literally, I don't know anybody with the same family name that I have except for my father and mother. I was looking at the local newspaper for nursing or teachers board passers. None. I was looking around the school on the voter's list during election day. None.
.
My father was from Misamis Occidental and my mother is from Sibonga, Cebu. (Both are in Philippines.) I was told that my father's father was not really from Misamis Occidental and that he only happened to be there shortly, married my grandmother and disappeared with no information or whatsoever. My grandmother, father and mother had the chance to meet some of my grandfather's relative which were Closas, too. I wish I was already born by that time.
.
A couple of months ago, I had decided to Google my family name and was ASTONISHED to find out that there are a lot of CLOSAS in Spain. Some were even celebrities. Wow! So, my root was from Spain. It is not impossible though. We all know that the Spaniards invaded Philippines, and possibly, one of them were my great, great grandfather.
.
Now that I am aware of that fact, it made me want to visit Spain someday... at least, before I die.

Ceramic Pottery Hobby or Business
I heard that a Filipino friend and her American husband, who live in Texas, are planning to venture into business. Both of them have good working attitude, love of nature and enthusiasm that I believe they will be successful in everything that they will do. I thought I will talk to them, give them support on their plans, and maybe I will suggest few things that might be of help. Ceramic pottery business could be one good business. If you notice that every house has at least one or two for plants, flower vase, utensil holders, etc. I, myself, love ceramic stuff. They can serve as a good decoration.
.
For their ceramic pottery needs, Amaco.com is the perfect website to visit. This is both educational and business website that displays a wide variety of ideas for crafting. It is great for kids to enhance their creativity while they are very young; as well as to moms who is looking for ideas either for business or hobbies.
.

They have 10 models of ceramic pottery kiln to choose with that will cater to your needs and price that you want. They have a good reputation in the business of making kiln brick . Dreaming For A Luxury Bedding
Just lately, I became obsessed in dressing up our bed. I spent a lot of time on looking for a good price in bed sheet sets. As I said on my past post, house decorating can be overwhelming. I think I am dreaming of a fantastic bedroom with luxury bedding , which as for now can be impossible because of the financial situation we are in. But I know it doesn’t end there. I believe that we can get something what we want in the future.
.
The good thing is that I found this cool website, ExquisiteLinens.com. Their linens are made of the highest quality Egyptian cotton bedding and are 100% satisfaction guarantee with their unbelievable low prices compare to the stores. They are on 45-75% off for retail pricing with low shipping cost. They also offer different pricing to the public.
.
I like this one, Mackenzie Blocks Queen Comforter Set. Yes, this can be found in ExquisiteLinens.com. It has the cool effect on my eyes that will go either on winter time or on summer time. With this bedding, I wonder if I would ever get out from the bed. I’m sure that you agree with me that it is pretty. Take a look at their website and fall in love with their luxury bedding.
