Staying healthy is a challenging task nowadays, especially if you are living an unhealthy lifestyle. On my mother’s letter she was talking about my hives break-outs that happened few months ago, and she told me to get a blood sugar test to see if I don’t have diabetes health issue. It is normal that she would assume that I could possibly have because she has diabetes, too. I haven’t got the chance to do as what she wants me to do. I don’t know when. But I don’t believe that it could be my problem because several months ago, my mother-in-law took me a blood sugar test and the result was that my sugar blood level was below normal. But again, that was several months ago.
.
Maybe I should buy my own diabetes testing equipment so that I can do it on my own, and I can assist my husband on it as well. I found one in HealthFitNet.com. It has a line of products that measure fitness levels. One of their latest products is the Futrex , a body composition analyzer where it provides a direct measurement of percent body fat. There is the MedGem , introduced as a convenient way to assess resting metabolic rate (RMR) to determine daily energy needs. Another one is the BodyGem , it determines caloric needs based on RMR, occupational activity, sleep schedule and exercise. There are a whole lot more of very helpful products in their site. I suggest that you visit their website and you might find something that you need for your health and fitness watch. We need to take care of our body because it is what we got to take care of our needs as well.

Where Should You Place Your Retirement Money?
It has only been a month ago since I started working here in Florida, and I beginning to understand why there are a lot of people who made wise decisions on how and where there money should go. I can’t blame them, especially if you have been working so hard like a dog (like I do), and you want to see yourself retire luxuriously. Believe me, I feel the same and I do want to see myself retire luxuriously, too. Who don’t want to?
.
One good way on where your money should go is to buy gold coins . This kind of investment has becoming consistently globally popular for years and years already. People that are in the process of retiring are talking and became excited about investing their retirement money on IRA gold . ‘Gold is so stable and so valuable that it is always recovered and recycled. Gold is an ultimate asset. It is the purest form of money, and the oldest, most durable wealth-preserving asset on the planet. There is no true "consumption" of gold in the economic sense; the stock of gold remains essentially constant while ownership shifts from one party to another.
.
RegalGoldCoins.com has an extensive inventory of gold coins and gold bullion including: St Gaudens gold coin , Liberty Heads gold coin, Indian Heads gold coin, Austrian Philharmonics gold coin, Canadian Maple Leafs gold coin, and many more. Visit their website for more valuable information.

Food Trip Friday #20 - Filipino Beef Steak

I am joining Mommy Willa on this "Food Trip Friday" meme for a reason that I want to challenge myself to try something new food at least once a week in order for me to learn to cook.
.
150 ml. soy sauce
250ml water
Juice of 1 lemon
5 tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 large onion, sliced in rings
Once tender, remove the liquid to a bowl and leave aside. Let any remaining liquid in the pan evaporate off then add the oil. Gently fry the beef for a couple of minutes then add the onions and bell peppers. Cook till the onions are translucent and still have a little crunch. Add back the liquid and let simmer for another 2 minutes.
Serve with steam rice.

What About Myrtle Beach?
I was talking about our plan for our wedding anniversary vacation. My husband and I are aware that our initial plan would need quite a lot of money to make it happen, but we have a plan B. It is always good to have a plan B. The plan B is for somewhere closer, and of course, it would mean much less expense. In this way, whatever will happen, everything will still be in good order.
.
Our plan B is to go to Myrtle Beach. It is in South Carolina. It is perfect for spring and summer. My husband’s cousin was the one who suggested to us to try that place because they have been there and they liked there very much. I was looking at the internet about the place and I get excited. I can almost see ourselves in that beautiful Myrtle Beach Hotel . It would surely be fantastic to stay in an Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Hotel , feeling the warmth of the beach sand as we walk barefoot on it.
.
Visit SeasideMB.com. It is where you can find the luxury Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Hotels , with their spacious accommodations and attentive 4-star services. They provide a professional staff and the finest amenities for your vacation. Enjoy the panoramic view from their rooms. It’s an ideal location for families and a few rounds of golf, too.

Caribbean Vacation Need Not Be Expensive With All Inclusive Caribbean Vacations.
Our second wedding anniversary is only four months away. My husband and I both like the idea of going to places where we had never been to. We did it on our first year wedding anniversary and we will be doing it again this time. Of course, I am putting this plan in God’s hand because we are not the one who holds our future. And it is safe to say that if God is willing, we will be celebrating our second wedding anniversary in the Caribbean. My husband had always wished to take me there. I would love to go there, too. It sounds like an expensive celebration, but if you know where and how to find good deals, you can have your dream Caribbean vacation that cost less than you expected.
.
Take for instance this website, Breezes.com. They give free nights stay in any of their resorts if you book your vacation on this spring to summer. . Their “Super-Inclusive” offer means all your meals, all your drinks, all your entertainment, incredible variety of land and water sports, with professional instruction are all included in the rate. I call this the all inclusive CaribbeanI couldn’t find any better vacation deals than what they can offer. They have excellent service for vacation and holiday plans specifically in Caribbean area.
.
If you are planning to have a getaway, too, turn to Breezes.com to look for all inclusive caribbean vacations . They guarantee that their guests will have a wonderful stay and will go home happy and satisfied. The picture shown is of Bahamas resort. I love it. That is where I want us to go. Maybe it is smart that we should start planning and saving for this wonderful vacation. With their all inclusive beach resorts , it will surely be not as expensive as it sound, but purely fun and bliss.
.
If you are planning for a Caribbean vacation, too, I suggest that you visit their website and get the best deals you can ever have from them.

Vacation Planning
I am so happy that I got a full time job now, and soon, my husband will have his new job, too. We thank God very much on this. It looks like everything is doing well on our behalf. All these we do for our future Asian vacation, especially the Philippines, to be able to visit my family.
.
This vacation will be an expensive one because I am planning to stay longer than what my husband want. There are many reasons on why I say it will be an expensive one, and one of them is for the fact that we will be staying in the hotel for the whole time. My sisters’ houses are not big enough to accommodate us comfortably. And I know that my husband would rather stay in the hotel for the sake of comfort.
.
I was talking about Asian vacation. There are many places that my husband and I want to visit and see. Bangkok, Singapore, Hongkong, Australia, Japan… We haven’t figured out yet which places we will visit. We still have a lot of time for that though. But we definitely know where to go to find cheap hotels especially in Australia. CheaperThanHotels.com is where you can find cheap accommodation Melbourne area and also cheap hotels Perth area. Through them you could save up to 70%. They made it easy to compare the price. So, now you know where to go the next time you are looking for cheap hotels anywhere in the world.

Fawlty Towers Motel
I have decided to post here my two previous work place. I love them both and was very happy working with them even for just a very short while. I am very thankful to God that He enabled me to have the experience woarking on those places.
.
The first place was the Fawlty Towers Motel. It is located right at the heart of Cocoa Beach, Florida. It is only 5 minutes ride from our apartment. My employers-owner of this motel are from UK. I am not sure what part of UK, but their accent was what made it obvious that they came from UK. It was only a part time work, where they only needed me during weekends, which was a sad thing for me because it made me either missed our church service or go to other church that had earlier church service.
.
Anyway, I quitted on my job there a week ago because of the full time job that was offered to me, which I am currently working now. May God bless this place and the business.

Invest Our Way To Dream Vacation
My husband and I shared common visions. I believe that most couples do. One vision that we shared is to be able to go on dream vacations. He specifically like going to the Caribbean’s, and mine is to the Asia’s. Well, we can’t deny the fact that this vision is expensive, may be difficult to reach, but I always believe that there is nothing impossible on earth, difficult maybe, but never impossible.
.
I know that working ourselves to death can be one option, but we are not going to take our dream through that way. That’s one miserable way of reaching one’s dream. There can be a lot of ways on how to achieve it, and one of them could be by wise money investment.
.
Talking about wise money investment, there are many good prospects that we can find around, and one of them is the FirstTrade.com, a leading online brokerage firm that allows customers in stock trading at very competitive costs. They had start serving with the local community in 1997 and is achieving steadily for over 23 years. Their commitment as online broker is to offer excellent customer service. They don’t require a minimum deposit to start your investment. They have build up the latest technology that offers many new and exciting possibilities to their customers. They have a lot more of good deals other than that such as mobile trading , fixed incomes and more. Looking For Cheap Car Insurance
My Filipino friend/neighbor’s husband went to Georgia for some important reason. She was having problem on how she will get to her work. The good thing was that her mother-in-law and some other family friends offered to take her to work, and it worked out. Her husband told her that it is about time that she should learn driving and take a driver’s license. But it doesn’t end there at all; she will then need to get car insurance.
.
I have exactly the same situation she has. Sooner or later, my husband will be having his work, too, and it may be possible that our schedule will conflict to each other. Although some family members offered to take me to and from work, but of course, I don’t want to bother anybody as much as possible. And so, to get a insurance has been part of our plans that are on the list.
.
To get a cheap liability auto insurance is a smart way in this kind of economy that we are facing right now. These hundreds of auto insurances in the market are for our advantage because it is through competitions that we can get a good deal, especially if you are diligent in searching for best service. Thanks to the internet, it doesn't get any easier or any faster to get instant quotes and even purchase your policy online. Money saving tips and good advice is available as well. your convenience. All you need to do is to just enter your zip code above and get the fast answers you need to start saving money right now.

Thankful Thursday - Let The Thanksgiving Overflow
I may be late for this post, but I definitely don't want to miss to post my Thankful Thursday, most especially that now that I just got a "big blessing" from God. This maybe a short post because I ran out of time. I am so sorry, I have been so busy lately that even sparing time for my blogging has been difficult for me. Before I cite my blessings, I want to highlight this verse:
.
"All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God." 2 Corinthians 4:15 NIV
.
...*The first and foremost is that I thank God for the new and "good" job He gave to me, and this time it is a full time job. I am so happy on this very big blessing that I just received from God. He is really so good. I will post about it on the coming days.
...*I thank God for the good health and safety I and my husband have.
...*I thank God for His the blessings, provision, loving-kindness and grace He showered on us day by day.
...*I thank God for all the sponsors that I had on my blog.
.
Giving thanks to God is more than just words; it is also in action and in thoughts. Every single things around us and in us are chances to give thanks to God. Let us honor God everyday, and let us set aside Thursday as a special thanksgiving day to God, for He deserves the glory.

Time To Buy Insurance
Now that I have job (and I am very thankful to God for this), the next thing that I will consider is buying insurance. It is very important for me to have insurance because I will then take up driving class, too. Wow! Neither my husband nor I anticipated that when I come here there will be chains of huge expenses prior to settling down here for good. There are a lot of insurance companies in the market, and we have to choose the one that is very beneficial for us in many ways. .
.
I was talking to a friend in Massachusetts, and we took it with humor that we both agree about the chains of huge expenses prior to settling down here in USA for good. Right now she is in the stage of looking for the best in the market for Insurance Franklin, MA . She shared to me about Berry Insurance Agency that she found online. It is the Auto Insurance Franklin, MA and Homeowners Insurance Franklin, MA and business insurance in one. They cover everything that you want to be protected. They made sure that the process will be simple and easy.
.
One of the things that I learned in living here in USA, that everybody should have insurance regardless of ages. If you are looking for insurance in Franklin, MA, I suggest that you visit their website.

Are We Ready To Enter The World Of Job Seeking Competition?
I heard somebody said that the economy here in USA is on the way to getting better. Oh, how I hope so. International Women's Day
March 8th is declared as the International Women's Day. This day is meant to appreciate those who have the biggest but quietest influence in our lives. ) It is an annual global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future. This tradition is suppose to see men honouring their mothers, wives, aunts, sisters, girlfriends, colleagues, etc with flowers and small gifts. In some countries IWD has the equivalent status of Mother's Day where children give small presents to their mothers and grandmothers. In some places like China, Russia, Vietnam and Bulgaria, IWD is a national holiday. The first IWD was run in 1911. Next year will be a celebration of IWD Global Centenary 1911-2011.
At some point in our lives, we meet women who inspire us by their courage, strength, talent. Sometimes, all we have to do is look around us to find women who are balancing work, home and caring for children. The new millennium has witnessed a significant change and attitudinal shift in both women's and society's thoughts about women's equality and emancipation. Many from a younger generation feel that 'all the battles have been won for women' while many feminists from the 1970's know only too well the longevity and ingrained complexity of patriarchy. With more women in the boardroom, greater equality in legislative rights, and an increased critical mass of women's visibility as impressive role models in every aspect of life, one could think that women have gained true equality.
However, great improvements have been made. We do have female astronauts and prime ministers, school girls are welcomed into university, women can work and have a family, women have real choices. And so the tone and nature of IWD has, for the past few years, moved from being a reminder about the negatives to a celebration of the positives.
I am proud the way God made me. I am proud that I am a woman.

"Yours To Discover"
Here in the complex where we live, more and more people from up north are coming down to visit, or let me say, to have a foretaste of spring. That is why the board members of the cooperation set weekly group activities within the complex such as Bingo, Wine Party and Shuffleboard to get acquainted with our visitors. Most of them are from Michigan and Ontario. Involving in the games are fun ways of knowing each other and sharing stories especially about where they came from.
.
They shared to us pictures taken from Polar Bear Provincial Park, their beautiful lakes, rocky islands and limestone cliffs. They helped us understand that Ontario is a nice place to live and it is “Yours To Discover”. That is their popular slogan, they say. They also encouraged us to get in touch with Ontario Real Estate Agents for quick and easy search of properties in that area. Their agents are ready to help with their realtor services in any way you need it, either buying or selling a property. They help you save both your time and money by providing you maximum information about anything you need to know about a certain area. I think this sounds interesting. If it does to you, I suggest that you start reviewing their website to look for your ideal house and place to live.

Florida Renaissance Festival
Spring is the season where Florida is full-packed with people from all over the world. I was told that people from north come down here in Florida to escape the brutality of the winter. I can’t blame them. I lived in Michigan for almost two years and I really pleaded to my husband that we moved down here in the sunshine city. Deerfield Beach, Florida is celebrating its 18 years of Florida Renaissance Festival during the weekends of February 13th through March 14th and that is one of the big events that tourist are looking forward to witness.
Talking about Renaissance Festival, you may want to join this festival and is wondering where you can get the best and renaissance clothing , armor, swords and weapons replicas . Here is the help that I can share to you, visit the site of HistoricalClothingRealm.com, where you can find the stuff that you need for this Renaissance Festival. They guarantee to bring your fantasy to life with their complete line of renaissance costumes and authentic replicas that are historically accurate.
It would be so nice to be a part of this festival and to wear historical clothing. If I could, I would like to wear this one that is in the picture. This full courtly black velvet gown with a rich brocade front and sleeves is what is popularly called the Queen Anne’s gown. The slashed half sleeves and borders are accented with a silver trim. Queen Anne became the queen of England, Scotland and Ireland on March 8, 1702. During her reign, her life was marked by many crisis both personally and relating to succession of the Crown and religious polarization. Her image displayed as one of the most beautiful faces both in art and in history. She has always been my favorite picture.

Chocolate Cheesecake Day
I was checking at my calendar of events to see what it is to celebrate today and I found out that today, March 6th, is a Chocolate Cheesecake Day. It doesn't say how this was founded and who did. Maybe it will be safer if we say that perhaps, it was a baker who decided to celebrate a Chocolate Cheesecake Day. Well, chocolate lovers, this is our day!
.
Maybe this can be a good excuse that we bake a chocolate cheesecake and have a wonderful moment with our hubby while eating the chocolate cheesecake and watching movies. Myhusband and I did this last New Year's Day. It was one of the moment that I cherished so much.
.
Or it could be a sweet way to bond with your children, sisters/brothers or friends. Make a layer of Chocolate Cheesecake and share that yummy moment with them while having a chit-chat or play your favorite board game. I am pretty sure that they will love you back as you gave love to them in this way. Enjoy your Chocolate Cheesecake today.

Weather And Your Lifestyle
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of AccuWeather. All opinions are 100% mine.
It has been a while that my husband had wanted both of us to spend a whole day in the beach. There has never been a good time for us to do it. The weather had always prevented us to do so. Plus, there has always been hurricane alert around our place lately. We were always hoping for that perfect day to come so that we can go to the beach.
My husband’s mini vegetable garden is not doing great. The tomatoes are growing slowly. The green onions seem stagnant. And the pepper looks like dying. The only one that looks healthy is the radish. We hope that it will be sunny soon, and maybe there will be chance for all of them to be revived. The cold weather did it.
All these problems are the causes of the instability of our weather here in Florida. But here is a help that people can surely take advantage with. AccuWeather has redesigned their website and made it easier than ever for users by displaying more relevant information grouped conveniently together at a higher level. It displays a variety of 5-day forecasts for key weather parameters that allow people to plan for the weekend, gardening, recreation, travel and even for pleasure. They had intentionally reduced the clutter throughout the site, placed on larger displays and a new tabbed navigation for more choices that it ever had at the audience’s fingertips.
This new site has includes lifestyle areas in four categories, and they are “Weather and Health”, “Weather and Travel”, “Weather and Home and Garden” and “Weather and Outdoor Activity”. In this way, it will be easier to follow the weather forecast in accordance to your kind of activities that you want to connect it with. Visit their website to be informed about weather in relation to your lifestyle.

Why We Shed A Tear?
All of us, at one time or another, had shed a tear. It may be a tear of happiness, pain, anger, frustration and the most common, sadness. But seldom of us wonder why human being, or even animals, shed a tear. With crying, the body goes through physical or chemical changes. Crying is beneficial to us both emotionally and physically. .
.
Crying is a more complicated process than one would at first imagine. First of all, there are really three different types of tears. Basal tears keep our eyes lubricated constantly. Reflex tears are produced when our eyes get irritated, like with onions or when something gets into our eyes. The third kind of tear is produced when the body reacts emotionally to something. Each type of tear contains different amounts of chemical proteins and hormones. Scientists have discovered that the emotional tears contain higher levels of manganese and the hormone prolactin, and this contributes in a reduction of both of these in the body; thus helping to keep depression away. Many people have found that crying actually calms them after being upset, and this is in part due to the chemicals and hormones that are released in the tears."
.
According to a study of over 300 adults, on average men cry once every month, and women cry at least five times per month, especially before and during the menstrual cycle when crying can increase up to 5 times the normal rate, often without obvious reason such as depression or sadness.
.
Jesus Christ came down from heaven to earth as a 100% human and 100%God. And one of the most touching moments He had on earth was when He cried. Yes, Jesus cried when He saw Lazarus, His dear friend, laid down on bed, dead for four days. "Jesus wept." John 11:35 NIV

Fishing Moment
There are days that my husband and I went to fishing after I got home from work. I love it. It is very relaxing. Plus, I got the chance to bring home some fish for our dinner. This picture was taken during the last time I went with my husband to fish. I got a catch. It was so exciting everytime a fish took my bait. Some of the fish were undersize that we have to throw them back to the water, while some were perfect that we took them home to fry.
.
I guess I will not be going with them anymore. I was not supposed to fish because I didn't have the license yet. I have to wait 4 months more to be able to buy a resident fishing license, or else I could buy a temporary fishing license which cost the same compare to the whole year resident fishing license... or else, I will be in trouble if some inspector will happen to check on me. Come 4 months, then, I will be able to buy the whole year resident license, and I will be able to go back fishing.
.
If that time will come, I would like to record that activity. I might want to make a film about Florida life. And talking about filming, I will then need film licensing . Did I hear somebody murmur, "another license"? Well, this is city living. Everything should be legal and in proper accord.

Thankful Thursday - Praise Your Glorious Name
It is Thankful Thursday once again. It is the day we set for God, to let the whole world know that He is our God and to acknowledge how good He is in all the things He did in our lives. But before that, I would like to highlight this verse;
.
"Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name." (1 Chronicles 29:13 NIV)
.
.....*I thank God for the good health my husband and I have. It is really important that we have a good health, especially that I am working now.
.....*I thank God for the two jobs He gave to me, and the fact that the job offers keep coming, in that way it can give me a chance to pick the best and convenient for me.
.....*I thank God that everything in our living is doing good.
.....*I thank God for our vegetable garden by the parking lot.
.....*I thank God for our marriage that is almost two years now, and we are going stronger and stronger, for the glory of God.
.....*I thank God for the good health of my mother.
.....*I thank God for all the sponsored post that I have on my blog.
.....*I thank God for all those who take time to visit and comments on my posts. And many, many more. Giving thanks to God is one form of worship to Him. To God be the glory always!

Attractive Scrubs For Spring
My Filipino friends and I were talking about taking care giving class and was planning on putting up a care giving service for senior citizens. My friend’s husband said that it was a good idea. He might help us out on this plan or if not, he might help us find somebody else to finance on this plans we are making. We believe that it is one of the basic needs this country is having, care giving services to senior citizens. My husband was taking up Phlebotomy, and is planning to continue it on spring. I had never imagined myself working in a medical field, but I would love to, because I love serving people especially the old ones; and it look likes I have a big chance on this.
.

Top 10 Entrecard Droppers- February '10
I know I am a couple of days late (again) in posting this. I didn't forget it this time, it is just that I have been so busy these days working in the school cafeteria and hotel, and sometimes, my husband and I went to fishing after he picked me up from work. I didn't have so much time working with my computer anymore because I have to go to bed early than I used to.
.
Anyway, here is my post of expressing my sincere gratitude to all my EC droppers again, especially these top 10 Entrecard droppers of the month of February '10. I thank you on helping me be where I am now. I acknowledge and appreciate your dropping very much. I also wants to thank even to those who are not in the list. I know who you are. May all our websites/blogs be successful always.

Happy Birthday, Chicklets!
Today, 2nd of March is my niece, Zennie's birthday. Her mother, which is my sister, gave her a nickname "Chicklets" because she is cute as that chewing gum that was very in during the time she was born.
.
I was the one who took care of her when she was a baby. She was a good girl, and never gave us a problem. She was my model when I was studying to become a dressmaker. She loved to dress up, and she loved showing off what she was wearing. I don't wonder then how she grow up to be a fashionista.
.
She is currently studying and doing the things that she loves. My birthday wish for her is that her dreams will come true, and that her studies will be successful, as her key for her shining future. "Chicklets, stick to the things that are good and avoid the things that will corrupt your life. Aim for your own success, but never forget to help those that are behind you. We all love you. Keep up your good work and stay smart as you are."
.
Talking about being smart, I trust that she is smart when it comes to dating, too. And talking about dating, there are a lot of dating sites online that are available. Take a look at this dating profile headlines for an interesting information.
