Cocoa Beach (Florida) Air Show - October 31, 2010

Some of those that were in the costume party last night agreed that we met up at Cocoa Beach this afternoon for the Air Show. We arrived at the location at 1 o'clock, but looking for a spot to park was terrible. Special thanks to my employer for allowing us to park at their parking spot because they lived around that area. The rest of the party where there at the spot already.
.
It was a hot afternoon, enough to put some tan on our skin. Americans like it, but not us, Filipino ladies. Thanks to the sunblock lotion, it did not burn my face. We got a nice spot. Faye brought a gazebo which was very helpful to keep us shaded, but was removed later because of the strong wind. There were a lot of foods that were left over from last night's party. Before the most exciting part of the show came, we were just relaxing, eating, drinking and chatting. It was some kind of a continuation for the bonding we had last night. This is some kind of a healthy couple's activities that I believe we should do regularly, as our availability permits.
.
Then the best part of the show began. It was awesome! It reminded me of a book I loved when I was a little girl. It described the power of the plane where it can "make loops, zoom and dash... and come to land without a crash". One surprise very loud zoom from our back really made us scream. It was flying so low that we really had to duck down. There were a lot more that they did that I can't explain. I can't find the perfect word to describe them. But for over-all rating, it was excellent. We really had a blast. It was worth the time and effort we spent.
.
And look at these birds (the last picture), they were doing their own air show, too. How cute! Well, I believe that if I can hear them talking, they would have said, "Hey, these planes are imitating us!" How true! Because after all, they are the original "air show performers".
.
Click on each picture for better view. Thanks.

Looking For Business Website Provider

My new employers need to set up a website for their business. They had few attempts and told me that they didn’t get through. I didn’t know what and how they did it, but I offered to help them set up one. I have been wanting to get myself an own domain, but hesitated because I didn’t think that I can manage two website at the same time. That is why I will be more than glad to help somebody get his or her own website.
.
To get your own website is easy and fun, especially if you trust your website host. Before doing so, be sure that you read their reviews and comments; it is a smart way to do before making any decision. WebHostingGeeks.com have a list of trusted website hosting provider to choose for. Thousands of users testified and have satisfaction with their quality service. Their customers find the value of their money on their reliable and excellent services with friendly support team that will help you all the way from uploading data, guidelines, and for your website maintenance.
.
According to their statistics, Inmotion.com is their leading website provider, and is best use for business purposes. This is perfect for my employers for their new business. It features unlimited space and traffic, and has a rating of 98%. They have the top technical support and enable you to customize your own web design, too. Sounds cool, huh? I am pretty sure that my employer will be happy with this.

Costume Party 2010

We had our costume party last night at Dolly Huhta's house (Merritt Island, Florida) in celebration for Jane Schuler's birthday which was 29th of October. Seven Filipinas in costume were there with five husbands in costumes, too. It was fun and a successful party. We were all so happy that it turned out very smooth and fine.
.
We had bunch of Filipino foods that while we were eating we felt like we were just in the Philippines. We had longaniza, leche flan, chop suey, carbonara, lumpia shanghai, cassava cake and caldereta. It was Jane, the birthday celebrant who prepared all of them, except for the lumpia shanghai which I prepared, and for the caldereta which Dolly prepared.
.
I will name these beautiful ladies I was with, in case you are familiar with any of them and might want to know their names. I will start from the left to the right:
Luzalee Amos, Michelle Gowen, Grace Elliott, Jane Schuler, Dolly Huhta (with her son Joshua), Faye Dietz, and Riza Valmonte.
.
Aside from us who are in the pictures, there are few more people who come for the birthday party but were not wearing costume and did not join us in our pictorial. They are the birthday celebrant's friends. There were few kids, too, that were on the party that were on costumes, but somehow, we forgot to organized them to have their pictorial, which I regretted and considered as a shame, that we were just so indulged on our own activities, but it was also because they were playing in one room and we can't put them on one spot all the same time.
.
But anyhow, in over-all rating, it was a very wonderful night. And we are all looking forward to it on next year around with the hope that there will be more people that will be added to us. My husband said that we were a groupie who loves the camera. Wherever there is a picture taking, we all flocked together. In fact, we had over a hundred of pictures taken on that night. Thanks to the digital cameras because we don't have to spend too much on films.

Spread The Charity Water To Your Social Circle

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of iNetVideo. All opinions are 100% mine.

Charitywater_tank

How important is the water to us? It is very important to me that I consumed at least three liters of water everyday. I easily get dehydrated. Although my husband don’t do the same thing, but he acknowledge the importance of water everytime he gets dehydrated which happened when unknowingly, he was not drinking enough water in a few days. But do we realize how many people in the world do not have access to a clean water?

According to Charity Water , thousands of people die every day from water-related diseases. In fact, this diseases had killed more people every year than all forms of violence in the world, including war. I find this fact very disturbing. I visited their website and is greatly impressed with their mission. It is a non-profit organization that helps to bring clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. One initiative they are doing is giving up their birthday gifts, instead, they asked their friends to raise up money for Charity Water donation. 100% of the donations they receives goes directly to fund water projects. Charity Water is registered and all donations are tax deductible.

Another way on how you can help is if you regularly buy a video for your family movie night, be sure that the DVD has a “water drop” on it, where it means that a dollar will go to Water Charity; and it is available at iNetVideo.com. The good news is that they have already served 179 people. I believe this is another good initiative because some people just don’t know how to help others, and by doing this, they are already helping without having to solicit from them. This is something I haven’t seen from other media sellers or online shopping website such as Amazon, Best Buy. Walmart, etc., and I believe this will be successful.

This reminded me on how I sometimes wasted the water by overdoing my laundry, and some other things. Although they were unintentional, and now that we are aware of this, it is our responsibility to spread this fact in the way of introducing iNetVideo to our social circle like facebook, twitter, email, blog and anywhere else. Visit their website now. List of donors can be find in the bottom.

What Matters Most Is Godliness

I was so excited on my first day that I came back to work after a month of vacation to Philippines. Everybody greeted me “Welcome Back, Grace”. Although I wasn’t feeling physically ready to go back to work on that day because I haven’t fully recovered yet from being sick, but because my leave of absence was over, that is why I have to go back to work, and it wasn’t a bad day though.

I brought some native delicacies for everybody to try, and was glad that they loved it. I was also happy to see the post card that I sent for them from the Philippines on the bulletin board. It makes me feel that I was important to them. Everything was fine except of two things.

The Mexican houseman, (also the acting supervisor if the supervisor is not around) has been interested in me since few weeks after I started working there. He has been telling me that he likes me and that wants me to be his girlfriend, regardless that I am married. There were uncalled behaviors that I thought were harmless but were annoying, but because it weren’t too serious that can be considered as harassment, I thought it was safe to tolerate it and just keep my distance as much as possible. He is married, too, and had been away from his family for four years. I told him that he badly needed to visit his family to cure his loneliness. To my surprise, he did, while I was on vacation. I thought it was a good sign for my sake as well, but I was wrong. The very moment that he saw me again, he hugged me so tight and whispered on my ear how he misses me. I thought that was just normal. Everybody hugged me anyway, but not with a whisper. An hour after that, he just got the chance to have me all by himself and hugged me again, and told me that he wants me to go out with him in the next days to come. That was how it became frustratingly alarming to me. I can’t play on this kind of game. Nobody can play safe on this kind of game.

On that night, I pondered very well on it. I had decided to quit right away. It wasn’t that hard, because the task that they used to give me was no longer needed for awhile, and I was given a new task that was a treat to my health. Plus, I know I wouldn’t be happy doing that new task. As I said, it wasn’t that hard at all. I quit right away. No, they didn’t know the real reason.

Although I am aware that it is not that easy to find a new job, especially with the same rate that they gave me; although I know that quitting would negatively affect my employment history; but for me, what matters most is the godly living and the good health that brings peace of mind.

“But godliness with contentment is great gain.” (1 Timothy 6:6 NIV)

Thankful Thursday - Glorify Him

It is Thursday once again. It is such a privilege to praise and thank God in a way that many people can read it, because after all, it is what God wants for himself; the Glory. Before I go on with my list, I want to highlight this Bible verse for today's post.
.
"I will praise God's name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving." (Psalm 69:30 NIV)
.
*I want to thank God for the daily bread that He faithfully provides on our table every meal time. In return, we always make sure that we don't waste what we have because it is a blessing from Him, and we sometimes manage to share what we have to others, too. For it is what He wants us to do; to share.
*I want to thank God for the good health he bestowed to me, to my husband and to all our love ones. I also thank Him for keeping us safe in everything we do and on everywhere we go. Having a good health is truly a blessing. It is more than having a lot of money, because sometimes, all the money in the world can't give us safety and good health.
*I thank God for all my blogging sponsors that made me earn money. Somehow, it enables me to send money to my mama which she needs for her medication.
*I thank God for all my blogging friends and visitors that keep my blog going. I appreciate it very much.
This and more... When it comes to expressing our gratitude to God, we can never ran out of things to say. Every single second is an opportunity to give thanks to God, the author of our life. To Him belongs all the glory.

Mens Knitwear: Perfect Gift For An Active Young Man On Winter

Our son, Ean, will be celebrating his 20th birthday on November 22nd. We are hoping that he can manage to come over here in Florida from Michigan to spend the Thanksgiving Day with us, to patch up what we missed last year. He is a busy, handsome and talented young man. He is a member of an active band up there in Michigan where they hop from one bar to another bar to perform every weekend. He is having the time of his life. We are so proud of him.
.
We were thinking of a gift for his coming birthday. I believe that few mens knitwear would be perfect and useful to him because of his activities; performing either indoor or outdoor. It would be perfect for the season, too. It is getting colder and colder up there in Michigan, and mens knitwear could help him keep warm and comfortable.
.
I found this website, CrewClothing.co.uk, where they got this deliciously soft mens knitwear . Their products are made of the finest materials such as lambswool and cashmere. They have varieties of products like tank tops, jumpers, rugby tops, hoodies, sweatshirts and many more. Their colors are very solid and attractive, too, that I believe won’t fade too soon. I am happy that I found this. This is a perfect gift for him.

Love Potion #9 -by The Searchers

When it comes to choices of songs, maybe you could be one of those who would call me an "old school". Yes, my kind of songs are from 70's, 80's and maybe some from 90's. It is probably because of the lyrics that the old songs have... or maybe because when I was a kid I get to hear them too often because my father used to play them in our house, and I grow up to like them.
.
No offense, please, but I believe that some of you would agree with me that some "new generation's" song's lyrics just don't make sense to me. If you would ask me for an example, I can't give you any because I really don't know any of them. I heard them. I gave negative comments about them, then I forget them. But there are some new songs, too, that I like. If you ask me for a title, again, I can't give you any. Maybe because I don't get to hear them too often. We don't turn on our radio in the house.
.
But this song that I am sharing to you is "something" to me. It is "Love Potion #9", probably from 60's. I just recover this song from YouTube a while ago, and it brought back memories in my mind. I can still remember that we have a long play record of "The Searchers", and my sister loves to play them over and over again. As I was playing it, I was amused by its visual humor. It really portrayed every lyrics. And I realized, too, that singing along with it is more like doing a tongue twister. It made my day.
.
By the way, during the appearance of the advertisement, just click on the little "X" to make it go away. Thanks.

Tree Removal

I love autumn. When we were still in Michigan, I had my first autumn there and was in so much awed by God’s creation; an array of bright multi-colored trees that were just literally everywhere. It was such a breath-taking sight that I never had personally seen before. It was such an unspeakable joy seeing firsthand one of God’s masterpiece.

However, we can’t deny that some locals, they consider autumn as a mess because of the seemingly unending falling of the leaves on the ground. It gives them a load of work to do. That is why I had noticed, too, that some residents had their trees removed. I find it rather sad, because they have rejected the gift of God, which is the tree, plus, its enchanting change of colors during autumn that would have brought joy in the heart of the passer-by… or maybe they didn’t know that there is a solution to their problem.

If this is your problem, and if you live by North Carolina, I believe that what I am going to share to you is the answer to your problem. Leaflimb.com is a reputable, knowledgeable tree service that is capable of handling any tree removal, trimming, pruning, stump removal, thinning, brush clearing, crane extraction, tree care services for residential/commercial clients, and any other emergency related tree services. Autumn Visits to the Forest

Posted by Jonathon Murphy
.
The glaring sun and blistering heat of the summer are a fading memory, though not faded enough to make me unappreciative of the cool crisp air and to relish the feel of it on my skin. Every evening after work and Saturday and Sunday afternoons I set out on my favorite pastime of fall, which is to take a long walk in the forest and admire the collage of colors that Mother Nature puts forth each and every year. Whether I'm alone or with my family I head out to enjoy this brief display of color as often as possible since the foliage season is short and seems to be over before it even starts. I relish the sound of the leaves crunching under my feet, the cool earthy smell that seems to be present in the forest this time of year and the serenity these walks provide to me. I take it all in because all too soon darkness will close in and the landscape will be swept with cold winter winds which blow away natures colors leaving her palate clean for next year. Leaving me curled up on the couch with hot cocoa watching direct tv international and catching up on the shows I missed while walking through the forest.

October- National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

This symbol of a pink ribbon has become very popular all around the country. Some may have seen this and didn’t understand what the symbol all about is; and to those who knows, I hope that you can share that knowledge to someone who needs it, and so that everybody will be aware of this. This is what NBCAM (National Breast Cancer Awareness Month) is all about; being celebrate every month of October to make everybody be aware of the breast cancer that is so common among women, and part of this is to remind the women to have a regular check, including self-breast exam to prevent from having breast cancer in the future.
.
The NBCAM organization is a partnership of national public service organizations, professional medical associations, and government agencies working together to promote breast cancer awareness, share information on the disease, and provide greater access to screening services.
.
Although the NBCAM officially falls every October, yet their campaign runs throughout the year. They are giving away valuable information and resources to the breast cancer patients, survivors, caregivers and to the public. Therefore, every time that you see a pink ribbon symbol, and you happened to be with someone who you thought is not aware of its meaning, you might as well explain to the person about the symbol, and who knows, that maybe you are saving somebody.

A New Move For Game Time

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of PlayStation MOVE. All opinions are 100% mine.

61 days to go before Christmas Day. It means we better start planning about gift giving. Sad to say that we missed to give gifts to our grandchildren last Christmas because we just moved in here, and all that expenses involved left us financially drained. We thank God that we are able to recover gradually, and we (my husband and I) hope that this time, we can give our grandchildren something that they want for Christmas. We are looking forward to have them with us for the holiday. It would be a good chance for us to bond with them again.

I grow up with a father who loves to shower me with gifts on all occasion. Maybe that is how I got the same trait that my father had. I love to give gifts to somebody that I love. I want to say that, if Genie’s are real, tonight would be the right time that one should appear to me and cater to my wish. My wish would be a PlayStation® Move, where we can have a family game nights. That moment would surely patch up the past Christmas time that we missed. We would probably be playing Brunswick Pro Bowling. My husband and I both love virtual bowling, and we want to introduce that to our grandchildren. With PlayStation Move, it is an entirely new way to play. It is the only game to feature a realistic and authentic bowling experience while showcasing jaw-dropping ball and pin physics. Through PlayStation Move, you can customize your equipment from bowling balls, shoes, and clothing. It is fun for all ages.

PlayStation®Move is the latest wave of technology in the way of playing where it redefines motion gaming with the most immersive and realistic gaming experience made possible only on the PlayStation 3 system. It is simple and very easy to use, with a diverse selection of games, and new ones keep adding to the list regularly. If you already have PlayStation 3, you can bring motion gaming exclusively to your existing PlayStation 3 for only $99 with MOVE bundle package. A Friend Behind Bars

I am sad, deeply sad. A good friend just told me that one of our dear friends is in trouble. (Actually, if I can have more than one "best" friend, I want to consider her as one of my very few "best" friends.) I wish I can come to visit her to comfort her, or to just give her hope. I haven't seen here for almost three years. I was not able to see her when I was in the Philippines. Truth to tell was, I really didn't want to go to their place to see her. I could have made an arrangement for us to meet somewhere else, but never in their place, but time did not permit me.
.
I know the reason why she is in jail right now. It is the same reason why I didn't want to go to their house to visit her. She was involving herself in some illegal activities. She was dealing illegal drugs. I hate to say it. It is not the way of saying of how proud you are of your friend. She is my dear friend. We were classmates in 6th grade, 1st year, 3rd year & 4th year high school. Even after school, we were still close friends. We stick together. Her family admire me for that. We take turns to visit each others house. We shared secrets, and enjoyed outdoor activities. During the time that I moved to another city, we regularly exchanged letters. At one time in her life, we shared the same spiritual faith, too, that made us even more closer.
.
She was a lady with a good reputation; many admire her because of that, including me. Despite where she lives, and despite the peer pressure that surrounded her, she was able to maintain her good reputation. She then met a man, and lived together. I want to say that I believe it was where it all started. She have seen their neighbors involving in that illegal activities and witnessed how their lives were improving, and stepping out of the mire of poverty. Well, it was indeed a very attractive and easy way out of the misery living. I even told her to leave that area; to live a life away from that kind of neighborhood. She did not. She told me that it was very difficult for them to start it. I understood them. To make a right step is always very difficult, and you often end up doing nothing. Then, one day, it was my turn to visit her, I caught her selling it. I was so depressed. It was the start of our irregular visits. I don't want to go on.
.
Right now, I am trying to get a hold of her by asking our one common friend on how I can correspond to her. I don't want to end our friendship with her behind the bars. It is where she needs me the most. My prayer is that God will use me to reach her out and come back to Him.

Getting Ready For My New Job

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of BH Cosmetics. All opinions are 100% mine.

I started wearing makeup when I was fifteen years old. It was not a bad age to start it. I don’t remember how I started it, but I know it was some kind of curiosity, self-experimentation and peer influences. I can still remember that I started with putting on black eye-liner on my eye lids, and can’t leave for school without it. It sounds funny, but one of my friend was worse than that. Then, later on, I started to wear lip shiner, that then lead to wearing lip stick… and so on and so forth.

This new job that I just got will be different from my previous job. I wasn’t so publicly exposed then, that made me wear very minimal makeup just to cover my paleness and my oily skin. This new job that I got will put me in a very exposed area where I have to deal with customers. This is why it made me decide that this time I have to wear proper makeup to look pleasant. I think I am ready now for this job, and I believe that it is going to be exciting and challenging.

But my problem is, makeup are expensive. This is one of the reasons why I minimize my wearing of makeup lately. I want to be frugal. Well, I just found a solution for it. BHCosmetics.com. They offer very affordable makeup palettes with the most brilliant colors. I’m just so glad that I found these products. This is the solution to my problem. Their goal is to strive to help consumers during these difficult economic times by providing high quality products at a very low price. It is even below wholesale price. Unbelievable. But it is very true. You got to visit their website to see it for yourself.

I think I am in love with their 88 color shimmer palette. Makeup palette always fascinates me because I can always use it in many different ways. This 88 color shimmer palette is a high quality makeup with glitter/pearl eyeshadow. This BH Cosmetic eyeshadow is “highly pigmented”, bendable with strong staying power. This suits for high request of professional makeup artists. Their product’s are made of ingredients that made it long lasting; with silky shine color mixture of glossy color and nourished with ingredients that protects skin around eyes, too.

Well, I guess I can now wear makeup as often as I would without being guilty of spending too much anymore. It will all just be pure pleasure of making ourselves look pleasing.

Emergency Food

My husband and I had decided to do something that I believe is a smart idea. Every time we buy groceries, we always buy extra one canned goodies to put away for what we call "emergency foods". You will never know that you will need them, and it is better to be ready than to be sorry.
.
Emergency foods are for the unexpected time that we can't go out to buy our food because of some calamity, like for example, a hurricane, which is very common here in Florida. Emergency food is also a good solution when an unexpected group of visitors comes up and, of course, you have to serve them some dinner or lunch.
.
The other day, I had decided to put out all the canned goods from our pantry to sort them out, to arrange them in order according to their "best before" date. Few of them will hit the date soon, and so I have decided to put them on our kitchen counter to remind me to use them up soon.
.
Well, emergency foods also served as our helper when both of us were too lazy to go out to buy for our dinner. It happened to us sometimes, and it was a relief to have them. They also serve as a "good samaritan", for when some neighbor in the middle of their cooking realized that they need something, and that they missed to buy it, they would call us and asked us if we got "it", and if we do, their problem is being solved then. It happened a lot to us, too. Thanks to the "emergency foods".

Travel Shows Recorded with DVR

I appreciate the guest post, Jewel Rodgers
.
At this time, I do not have the luxury of spending thousands of dollars on a vacation to exotic locations such as Vanuatu or the Seychelles. But I do enjoy learning about these various places and more by watching travel shows. I use my DVR service on my satellite tv from www.expertsatellite.com to stay up-to-date on the latest shows featuring people from Africa , South America, and even Europe!
.
As I have a job that keeps me working until about 8 p.m. each night, I tend to miss new episodes and season premieres. By using my DVR, I can record my favorite programming with ease, allowing myself to watch the shows when I have the time. To make it even better, I can watch my shows over and over, plus rewind, fast forward, and pause whenever I need to. I like that I have control over my recordings, as it allows me the convenience to watch shows as necessary.
.
My current DVR list includes new episodes of No Reservations and Bizzare Foods, which though cooking-oriented, also highlight the culture the produces the odd sorts of food Americans typically don't eat, such as insects or the tails of oxes. I plan on using my DVR in the future to record the Amazing Race and Samantha Brown.

Turn Your Birthday Song To A Victory Song

I believe that a birthday song should be a "Victory" song regardless how old we can be. Every year that added to our life should be consider a miracle. Millions of human being were not given the chance to live as long as they want to. Babies that were dead didn't give their parents the joy of seeing them growing up. Teen-agers that died didn't had the chance of seeing their selves becoming successful in the careers they would have choose. I may go on and on, but my point is, I believe that we should be proud of the length of hours we have stayed here on earth. Let us not hide our true age, as some did, instead, we should be happy that another year is being added to it.
.
Consider the cancer patients, birthdays have a special meaning for them and to their loved ones. They understood that the life is a gift from God, and that every year that added to it is a miracle. They hope that there will be many more birthdays to come to them.

Our Trip to SoCal

Guest post written by Ben Jarvis
.
This past weekend my wife and I went to California to visit my son and his family. We are from a small town, and I must say that we were excited to do a lot of the touristy stuff and see all the sites t that we’ve seen on TV for years and years.
.
My wife wanted to see Beverly Hills , and I wanted to see the famous sign in Hollywood, plus a laundry list of other landmarks. Every time we travel it’s a non-stop occasion and we make sure to wear ourselves out—hey, that’s what you lay out the big bucks for, right?
.
While we wanted fulfilled a big agenda, the number one priority was spending time with family. It’s been months since we’ve soon our son and his wonderful grandkids, and we really wanted to spend as much time with them as possible. We even got a
hearing test in California before visiting. We wanted to ensure that we could get as much out our visit as we could.
.
My son’s family is doing great, but we didn’t really give them a chance to rest while we were in town. They could barely keep up with their touristic parents.

Update Of My Lil Indoor Garden

Several months ago, I posted here my indoor garden, and here is the update of it. I added another plant with them. I don't know their names, but they're all ideal for indoor, that means that I can only water them once a week. I am very thankful that they are all healthy.
.
My Aloe is getting bigger and larger. I am so happy about it. I noticed that there are at least two sprouts next to it. I think it is about time that I should transplant them; move the big one outside and let the new sprouts remain for them to grow up.
.
I love having plants inside our house. It feels so good to have another living things inside our house. I am not yet settled with four. In fact, if you noticed, I still have two empty pots that I need to fill in. I am just waiting for the right kind of plants that I will put in there. If I need to, I am very willing to add more pots with them, and probably more pebbles, too.
.
In the next few days, I will be showing to you my outdoor garden. :)

Finger Pulse Oximeter

A little more than a year ago, my father-in-law together with my mom-in-law and me took my husband to the emergency room because of sign of heart attack. He had difficulty breathing and was having spasm. The nurse examined him thoroughly and kept him there for the whole day to monitor his heartbeat, blood pressure and stress level. We then took him back home that night.

But few hours after we were all home, my husband had breathing problem again. His heart beat rose up alarmingly and was restless. The good thing was, his sister, a nurse, was there on that night to visit him. She had with her a finger pulse oximeter to monitor his oxygen. None of us was sleeping on that night. We were all surrounding my husband in the living room, talking to him to make him relax, while his sister was busy calling her doctor friend, asking what to give to him to make my husband’s blood pressure go down.

It is a good thing to have a nurse in the family. But if your family don’t have one, I suggest that at least, you should have a finger pulse oximeter, to monitor your oxygen for COPD. It is very important. I can help you find it. Visit ConcordHealthSupply.com

There were weeks that I was not able to go to church because of my previous job. (I am so glad that I am done with that job now.) Having a fellowship with people of the same faith is important to me… to us. Yes, we can study the Holy Bible in our house. Yes, we can do the praise and worship in our house. But fellowship is as much important as studying the bible and singing praise and worship, too.

Fellowship is what we are called to do as a believer. It is a relationship of inner unity among believers that expresses itself in outer co-participation with Christ and one another in accomplishing God's will on earth. Fellowship is not just being together. It is not just doing anything together but it is working together to accomplish God's will.

Fellowship is an act of working together to accomplish God's will continued in the church with the practice of a multiplicity of leadership, diversification of activities, giving to the needy, exercise of different spiritual gifts, supporting of missionaries, calls to different mission fields, corporate prayer, group worship and in other ways. But the importance of fellowship to the church does not rest solely upon the fact that it was the natural result of the coming of the Holy Spirit. Rather, its primary importance stems from the fact that: The instruments are our spiritual gifts and natural abilities. And the indispensable means we used to perform is fellowship, co-participation in accomplishing His purpose. It is only as we work together in this way that it is possible to accomplish God's plan. This is why fellowship is indispensable to the church. This is why we should go to the church service and be a part of the fellowship.

"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." (Acts 2:42 NIV)

Treating myself

Guest post written by Winny Call
.
I have a pretty demanding job, which means that even though I'm single and have my own house, I don't always get to do a lot of things for myself. It isn't just the busy moms that never treat themselves.
.
But my birthday is getting ready to roll around so I thought there would be nothing better to do than finding a way to make me enjoy being at home a lot more. Granted I'm not there a whole lot, but I'm not running around I just love to shut myself in with a good book or two. So when I saw some ca sears kitchen cabinets specials online I decided to use them to refresh my kitchen.
.
It's not like I spend a whole lot of time cooking, but I do love to entertain in my kitchen. It's funny how no matter where entertaining starts in a home, it always drifts to the kitchen when guests help you with snacks or drinks. So the next time that happens now, I won't have to worry about my guests judging me for the hideous outdated yellow cabinets that I did have.

Food Trip Friday #22 - Noodles Overload

I am joining Mommy Willa on this "Food Trip Friday" meme for a reason that I want to challenge myself to try something new food at least once a week in order for me to learn to cook.

As with the rest of my weekly meme, I have been neglecting my "Food Trip Friday", too, for the reason that I didn't have any entry for it. It seems like it has been a while that I haven't tried anything new in my kitchen, until today. My entry for today is what I called "Noodles Overload". Actually, it has been a while since I started doing this. It happened when at one time we had left over grilled beef steak, and then I had decided to put it on noodles for our lunch the following day. We both loved it. Since then, every time my husband made grilled beef steak, he always set aside some portion for our "Noodles Overload" the following day. This is very easy, and this guarantee that both adult and children will love it. Here is the recipe:
.

(For one serving)
1-pack Maruchan beef flavor noodles.
left over grilled beef steak, cut into cubes
1-2 stalks of green onions, chopped
... you can also add some chopped carrots, cabbage or any vegetable of your choice.

Bring to boil 2 cups of water and left over beef steak, put the noodles (and vegetables), bring to boil for 3 minutes, add the Maruchan seasoning, stir and removed from heat. Serve in a bowl and add the green onions on it. Enjoy it while it is hot.

Getting Ready For The Big Thanksgiving Dinner

Thanksgiving Day is fast approaching. It will be a little over a month to go. Wow! How did time fly so fast? Where did it go? Thanksgiving Day is one of my favorite holidays here in USA, because most of my husband’s family from north will go down here to spend that special dinner with us. Just like last year. It is always fun having a large crowd in the house for that very special day. My husband calls it “The 3 F’s Day” Why? Because that day is about Family, Food and Football.
.
There will be a big preparation for that dinner. There will be wide variety of foods. Everybody will be preparing their own specialty menu. Turkeys, of course, is always part of that special event. And there will be variety of ways to prepare them. I wonder if we can do all the preparation here in our house. We may need a butcher block to prepare the Turkey. Using a butcher block for chopping meat is safer and less messy than doing it on the counter.
.
Putting up Adirondack chairs will be ideal for outdoor gathering, too. I just love its southern beauty; sturdy and yet elegant. The oldies will be on them while they are watching the kids playing on the playground.
.
Another important thing to consider is our utility sinks , too. I had to have my husband check on it. We had the problem with our sinks two weeks ago. It was from the grease that was stuck in the pipeline. We better make sure that it will not happened again. Not on that time.
.
Sometimes, preparation for family gathering is stressful, but all the stress will be worth it, because there is nothing more fun than having your family around for a special day of the year.

Three Throw Pillows

At last, for the first time, I tried my electric sewing machine that my husband bought me as his gift last Valentines Day. I was not able to try it right away because just a couple of days after that, I got the job and was busy all the time. I love my electric sewing machine. I love its features and everything about it. I will need to make a cabinet for it with matching chair so that it will be easier for me to use it anytime I need it.
.
During my last visit in the Philippines, I bought some fabrics with the intention to make throw pillow cases for the three throw pillows that I bought from a garage store, that I have been kept in the closet for several months.
.
Here is the three throw pillows that I made the other day. Aren't they pretty? I am really so glad that I made them, and now I can display them in our living room. I love sewing. I have been doing it since in my teens. The difficult part of sewing here in Florida is finding cheaper fabrics for my projects. My only chance are when I go to thrift stores, or garage sales, where I find some unwanted fabrics and they just sell it for a dollar or a little more. I have a couple of them, but not enough to make three pillow cases.
.
I am looking forward to sew more in the days to come. A friend of mine told me to try Jo-Ann fabric and to try to inquire about fabric discounts. I will do so.

To Do Or Not To Do? But When?

Having own domain is a privilege for bloggers like me who participated in some of paid posting networks because most of them preferred bloggers to have their own website. It has been a while that I have been telling myself to move my blog to a new own web. What keep me? I don’t know. Probably, it is because in my view, getting your own domain is both risky and costly. Probably, it is because I read reviews that most users were having confusion when it comes to uploading data. However, I am still open to it. I still see myself having my own domain in the future. Through net browsing, I found this WebHostingFan.com. They help you find the top website hosting companies. They give detailed information about web hosting pricing, reliability and support.

Let me share to you what I just found out. Among their list of webhosting provider, this Web Hosting Hub falls on the top of them all. I understand the reason why, it is because this provider give unlimited sites, space and traffic, with 24 hours U.S. Technical Support and 90-day money back guarantee, for the price of only $4.95 a month. I think this is pretty safe. I would go for it.

If you are considering of having your own website, too, I suggest that you visit WebHostingFan. Read their articles and reviews. This is the site that will help you to choose a right company for you.

Thankful Thursday - My Comeback

First of all, I want to thank God that here I am, making my "Thankful Thursday" entry again. This is my comeback post. I just found out that my last entry was back in June. I feel bad about it. Whatever my reason, it can never be valid. We are to give thanks to God for everything under any circumstances.
.
There are so many things that I want to thank God as of this very moment. In fact, if I have to, I will not be able to sleep tonight for enumerating each and every one of the things that I am so thankful to God.
.
*I want to thank God for the relationship I have with my husband. Through ups and downs, those things made us closer to each other and time made us stronger as ever. He is always there for us.
*I want to thank God that my vacation to Philippines had been possible, and everything just went great beyond what I had planned.
*I thank God that I no longer bear the problem and concerns I had with my previous employment. I am free now. And very thankful for this another job that He gave to me. This is something that I can do and grow up with my natural skill. This is a blessing.
.
God is so good. Always good. You just need to trust Him. My prayer is that you will trust in Him and be able to see His goodness in your life, too.
.

"All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God." (2 Corinthians 4:15 NIV)

Spring Morning In The RV

This picture was a little more than a year ago, where my husband and I were visiting Uncle Therman and Aunt Anna by the campground. That is their life; spending weeks in an RV at a campground. They are a retired couple and just love going from one campsite to another campsite. Well, with all the money that they were able to put up for their retirement plan, they just deserve to have this kind of lifestyle.

My husband and I love doing the same thing, too. We love the feeling of doing some adventure. We spent a couple of days in a campsite right after our wedding. That was so cool. We wanted to do it again, but we always end up putting it later. We don’t have our own RV, but my husband know where to find rv rentals . CampingWorld.com is the nation’s largest new and used RV dealer network. Their RV’s are unbelievably affordable, stable and “inside-out” appealing. If you are planning for a family trip, I suggest that you consider renting RV’s. I believe that it will turn out to be the best vacation your family ever had because that is just what our family deserve.
