In less than 24 hours, we will bid goodbye to 2010. This year has been so good to me and to my husband. There are so many beautiful things that happened to me, and one of them was my visit in the Philippines. I really treasure it a lot. I thank God for it.
.
I am very ready to meet the new year 2011. One of the things that I am so excited about proceeding to next year is my anticipation of starting several new projects that I was not able to do on this year because my focus all throughout the first 7 months of this year was on my Philippine trip, and I am so happy to say that it was indeed a successful one. Again, I thank God for it.
.
One of the projects that I am looking forward to accomplish on this year is the home furnishing. I know this is going to be very exciting and challenging. I started my search for pretty stuff, just like this countertop spice rack that I found in SpiceRackSource.com. I need this one because we don't have one, and both my husband and I are fond of collecting different kind of spices. I am attractive to its materials, too, because mostly of the kitchen furnishing we have is of this similar materials.
.
This and more cool stuff can be find in this website that I mentioned. They have huge selection of different kinds, size, styles or materials of spice racks such as wall spice rack , in-drawer spice rack, kitchen spice racks and many more. I should suggest that you visit their website and be inspired to do some home project. Spice up your kitchen with this spice rack for the new year 2011.

Thankful Thursday - Happy New Year
I have been extremely busy these days that I can't hardly find time to blog. I'm on break right now from preparing foods for our tomorrow's back-to-back New Year's Eve Party. I am done with the "lumpia" which will be for the MICHA's party and in a little later, I will be making the ham roll for the Fil-Am party. I don't want to miss these last year's opportunity to post my Thankful Thursday, eventhough I am a bit late now. But before I go on, let me highlight to you this verse;
.
.
*I thank God for the time and chance that my step-daughter and our grandchildren were with us for four days. We had such a wonderful time together going to the wildlife refugee, and they had the chance to spent time with their grandpa by playing and just hanging out.
*I thank God for the financial blessings that keeps pouring out on us from heaven. God is great and faithful to His promise.
*I thank God for the good health and for the safely He bestowed on us every day.
*I thank God for enabling me to share the blessings I have and to be able to support my mama's medication.
*I thank God for the wonderful Christmas time we had with the family and friends.
*I thank God for the job He gave to me.
*I thank God for my mama's good health, and for my father-in-law's improving health, too.
*I thank God for all those that visit my blog and for all my sponsors.
*I thank God for the wonderful year that was and I believe that this coming new year will be a better one.
May we all have a prosperous and joyful new year 2011!

About Time For Life Insurance
On next month, my husband will start going to school again to finish the course he was taking while we were in Michigan. My problem now is how I will get to work if my schedule in work conflicts with his schedule in his class. This is why bicycle is on the top of my "wishlist", so that I will just bike my way going to work because it is not that far at all.
.
My husband and I were spending time this morning out on a bicycle ride regardless the cold weather. I need to get used to my bicycle. I was scared of humps, that every time I encountered one, I had to stop and drag my bicycle to pass it. I realized I am not that ready on the road yet, but I still have time to do more practice. Actually, I still have 2 more weeks before my husband's class will start.
.
Now, I have to think about life insurance with the right policy that I just need. Am I going crazy? I don't think so. Maybe I am just being practical. I am not afraid of death, but I don't want to give burden on expenses to the ones that I left behind. I believe I made sense here.
.
This logo of the website that I am showing in this post, JustLifeInsurance.com aims to provide market leading Life Insurance Quotes .They made it simpler for you to get a tailored life insurance just by completing their simple form. They believe that life insurance is too important to leave to price comparison sites. They also provide Life Insurance Advice to help you get the right policy of insurance you need for you and for your family. And if you are having hard times finding an Over 50's Life Insurance , this website is your answer. I suggest that you check their website for more valuable information.

Family Christmas Party 2010
.
We had a successful and happy Christmas party last Saturday. There were 20 people in the party. These are few of the pictures that I took during the party. We had a very sumptuous dinner prepared by everybody with the special mention to Annette, Aunt Sallie and Mary.
.
We had exchanged gifts after the dinner. Everybody was busy giving, receiving and opening gifts. I believe that was the most exciting part... especially, at least to the kids. I can't wait to see what I got and I can't wait to see what was the reaction of the person who got my gift. I hope Annette is happy with what I gave her. I like the gift that I got. It gave me inspiration to do something to myself for this new year to come, because it is what I always neglected to do. I always wanted to have it, but felt guilty to buy it for myself. Now that somebody gave it to me, I feel happier having it. Thanks, Aunt Sallie.
.
To my husband and I, the best part of the party was having Danyale (our daughter), David (her boyfriend), Ciara and Corbin (our grandkids) with us. Danyale and David came from Michigan, took Ciara and Corbin, and made it halfway to the party.

Sign Plate For My Bicycle
It was 49 degree this morning when we had breakfast at iHop. For a moment, I forgot where I was. This is not likely a "Florida Weather" on this time of the year.
.
I was looking forward with excitement to try my new bicycle today, but this weather is not being accommodating to me. I am now on my second day of my 3-days off from work. I sure hope that tomorrow will be my day to try my bicycle on before I will be back to work again. I requested this bicycle for the purpose of building my confident on the road. I need this confident before I will have to proceed on learning to drive a car.
.
I love my new bicycle. I am going to get a customize sign plate with a vinyl lettering for it. I know I will have fun beautifying and taking good care of it. I feel like I just owned my first car. (He-he-he) My husband's cousins warned me to keep it safe always because one lady (our neighbor) had just bought a bicycle, left it downstairs over night and was gone in the morning. Oh no! I don't want that to happen to my bicycle. My husband can't afford to buy me a new one.
.
I found this website, SignsMadeToOrder.com, where I can order a sign plate for my bicycle. I think this is cool. There are hundreds of products available on their website. You can also order your custom license plates for your cars. Go, check them out.

Merry Christmas Everyone
Merry Christmas everyone. I hope that your Christmas day had been wonderful, as it was with mine. It has been three days that I haven't updated my post here in my blog. I have been extremely busy on these past few days, in my job, in preparing the gifts for the kids and in preparing for the family Christmas party which was yesterday afternoon. ( I will post about it soon.)
.
I was not even able to call my family in the Philippines on the Christmas Eve because I had to work earlier than was scheduled, but I called them on Christmas day (Philippine time) and was able to talk to my mama, greeted her "Merry Christmas" and Gene (my husband) had the chance to talk to my mama, too. I am sure that it made my mama happy. It is really my full time concern, to make my mama happy in every possible way that I can, as God permits it..
This year's Christmas was a whole lot different from our last year's Christmas. Although we still don't have a Christmas tree (because it was too late for us to get one and the Christmas will soon be over, and because money is still tight with us to get a tree), but somehow, we were able to put some Christmas decor inside our house. We are thankful to God that we were able to buy gifts to give away. I know, Christmas is not solely about decorating our house and giving gifts, but for the sake of our grandkids that will stay with us (for the first time) for a week, we believe that somehow, doing these things will make their Christmas day with us happier..
Christmas day, I just got up from bed, a bicycle was in our living room as one of my Christmas presents from my husband. I am so happy with this. This is one of the things that are on my "wishlist", and in fact, this was on the top of them. Thank you very much, honey.
.
As I said on my "wishlist post", I need this bicycle to help me build up my confidence on the road before starting to learn to drive, maybe later next year. I am now excited to go bicycling. Too bad, the weather is not being accommodating to me this day..
.
My husband got his presents, too. A set of different kind of hot sauces and spicy cheese (He's very fond of them and this was on his "wishlist", too.); necklace, some personal stuff and some cash from Dad and Mom.
.
Honestly, it is too hard to get something for my husband, because he hardly know what he likes. That is why I bought him things that I find online that I know he would need or he wants anytime of the year as an "off-occasion gifts". He is a great husband. I believe that he deserves gifts in season or out of season.
.
These are all the gifts I got from Christmas, not counting the bicycle and cash from Dad and Mom. I got a whole set of make-up kit, a pedicure set, pouches, a body lotion and an oil warmer set. I love them.
.
These gifts encourage me to take more care of myself. I know I needed this, but I don't know why I didn't get one for myself before. It can be probably because there are things that I need to prioritize and that I would feel guilty to buy these for myself. I am so thankful that I have these. It can be one of my "New Year's resolution" which I always have every start of the year.
.
.
This is not for bragging purpose. This is more like a documentary post, that I can review again in the future, or a proof on how good God has been in my life.
.
Again, Merry Christmas to everyone. I want to declare, to the glory of God's name, that I am so bless today. My wish is that you feel the same thing for today, and let us thank God for it.
.
Above all, let us not forget the true meaning of Christmas, which was a savior being sent to us, and set us free from eternal condemnation. Christmas is about showing how God loves us that He gave His only begotten Son, was born in a lonely manger, live a lowly life and was crucified for our sins, to give us eternal life. All glory and thanksgiving belongs to Jesus!

Shopping With My Family
. I really enjoy Christmas shopping, even when the streets are jammed and the stores are overly crowded. My husband and I always go shopping around Christmas time because it makes us get in the spirit Christmas. It normally snows a few times in the month of December and that as well always make us feel as if it is the holidays. My husband and enjoy shopping at target because we always find something for everyone at reasonable prices. If we start shopping early enough, we are always able to find extra discounts and savings on select items. My husband and I shop for the kids at toys r us, but when we go to target, they go a long to help find gifts for the grandparents and the uncles and aunts. It seems as though it is a tradition we've been doing for several years and the kids enjoy just as much as we do. My kids are 7, 00, and 04, so I always let them walk the store together to find their grandparents, something, while my husband and I shop for his parents. We all look for everyone else's presents together. I must say I enjoy this time more than any other with my family. We always eat out and catch a movie afterwards, so we always set the home security alarm from www.totalalarmsystems.com/adt-

Start Your New Year Being Debt Free
I have been here in the USA for a little over than two years and I can’t help but noitced that the one common problem to most people here is the bad credit history. Nevertheless, I find it that more and more people are heeding there. A friend has been suffering of his back pain and needed a surgery, but too bad, he doesn’t have insurance and have a bad credit record. Actually, I know more than one person with almost the same problem; bad credit record. It is so sad that because of that problem, they feel they have to suffer for the rest of their life. Moreover, I have been told that most part of the amount of their total debt was from the interests. As they had quoted it; “the poor become poorer and the rich became richer”. That just doesn’t sound fair.
.
This is how many agencies are offering services for debt relief, and it is a good thing because many people didn’t know that there is hope available for them. It is very important that people with the serious debt problem will be aware that there are wide chances given to them, and be free from the effect of bad credit record. All you need to know is to be diligent in searching around for the proper solution, an agency that offer to help you in debt negotiation , and I assure you that your effort will surely be rewarded.
.
Let me share to you this site that I heard, UnitedDebtCounselling.com; it is a debt settlement company helping individuals and families that deals with unmanageable debt stemming from financial and personal hardships. They give you the chance to rise up again and restart your financial status. If you are a person or if you know anybody with this kind of problem, I suggest that you hop in to their website, learn more information, contact them for advices or help that they can share to you. Grab this opportunity. Start your new year being debt free.

Choose Day for Tuesdays - Wall Painting or Wallpaper ?
.

One of my house improvement project for the next year is to do something on the wall. I feel like I want to put some wallpaper on it because I think it is pretty. But my husband strongly disagree on the idea of wallpaper. He suggest that I can try different colors or shades of paints, but never the wallpaper. He explained to me the trouble and hard work of the wallpaper; and the worst part is the removal when you want to change it or if you want to switch back to paint. I got his point, but is it really so?
.
I didn't give up my desire for wallpaper yet. I want to gather more information; and besides, I haven't talk to anybody that has an experience with using wallpaper. I don't even know what quality of paper this wallpaper here in America has. I assumed that it is not the same cheap kind that we have in the Philippines. What about you? What do you prefer, wall painting or wallpaper? I feel like using wallpaper will make the house more cozier, which I thought is home. I really hope that somebody with the experience of using wallpaper can comment on this post and give me some insight. I would greatly appreciate it.

Skating In Bryant Park
. My husband Steve and I went to midtown to purchase a new pair of Miracle Ear hearing aids. I have always lived a very healthy and active life, and the way I see it-there's no reason to ever stop that. I decided I wanted to get out and does something fun so I convinced Steve to take me ice skating several times over the weekend. We first went to Rockefeller center to get the unique opportunity of ice skating under the big Christmas tree. It was incredibly memorable, but a little cramped for space. There were many times that we had to come to a complete stop because there were so many people packed in front of us. The next day, Steve and I still had quite a lot of energy so we went to the ice rink in Bryant Park. There was a lot more space and Steve and I really got to enjoy ourselves without feeling too congested. We took it slow and really got to relish in the experience. After all these years, the city can still feel magical at times. Skating made me feel great. I'm so glad we went.

Miracle Happened to Philadelphia Eagles
Hi Everyone! How is your Sunday going? I am having a great Sunday. We had a wonderful and fabulous Christmas presentation at the church followed by a hearty lunch in the conference hall with the purpose of having fellowship with each other, too. That was really one blessed Sunday to us.
.
At home, I was busy wrapping Christmas gifts, while my husband was watching his favorite sports which is the football. He was watching Philadelphia Eagles versus New York Giants. I was with him for a short while because I want to work on my knitted scarf, and at the same time watching the sport. I am good in doing both. My husband wants the Eagles to win, and it was 10(Eagles) - 24(Giants) when I decided to quit watching because it looked hopeless. I went to the guest room to resume my gift wrapping.
.
"Honey, you need to watch this," my husband called after a few minutes. I ran out to see what was going on. He made a rewind for me to able to catch up. It was not really a good one that I won't want to miss, but all of a sudden, a particular book that I am reading reminded me to do something for my husband, which is to stay, watch the entire game with my husband, become interested with the sport and share the excitement with him. There was 3 minutes and 10 second left for the game, and I figured that it will be over soon. The score became 10-31. My husband already accepted that his team would lost, but I stayed.
.
A sudden turn of fate happened. Eagles made another touchdown that turn the score into a tie, 31-31. There was a minute and 8 seconds left. "Will there be a lot of things that will happen in a minute and 8 seconds, honey?" "Oh, yeah." It was 4 seconds left, DeSean Jackson made a giant move, he soared like an eagle and made a touchdown that brought victory to Philadelphia Eagles. 36-31
.
Boy! I'm glad I stayed to see the miracle that happened to Philadelphia Eagles.

I have been into blogging for more than a couple of years already, and I am grateful to say that it went very fine. Of course, I can’t deny that I can’t do it without the help of God, who gave me the wisdom and perseverance to go on with this. I must admit that my initial purpose for making my own website was

Christmas Cards 2010
I have already sent to mail my Christmas cards for family and friends the other day, but not the ones that are for friends and relatives that surrounds us here in Florida. I figure that my husband and I will just hand them personally on the Christmas Day. These Christmas cards are specially handmade by the author. I am confident that these cards will make you happy upon receiving.
.
We are not done with our Christmas gifts shopping, but I will start wrapping those that we bought tonight. I will be off from work tomorrow, so I will have plenty of time to do both shopping and wrapping. I love doing these things because I enjoy showing off my works and at the same time, making the recipient happy.
.
We will have a company from Michigan on the Christmas Day and will stay with us for a week. Our grandkids will be with us, too, which both my husband and I are looking forward with excitement. We will probably be going to parks, camping out or anything else for an affordable family holidays. My husband is on look-out for a great family outing deals, and how happy he is that he found Hoseasons; where they feature variety of ideas for selfcateringholidays . It is a cool website. My Favorite Candy Cane Treats
. Decorating the house for Christmas is one of my favorite things to do. I absolutely adore being able to put up all my favorite ornaments and keep them all pretty and neat looking on the tree. One of my favorite things to do is put lots of candy canes onto the tree. Candy canes are my absolute favorite holiday treat, and I can never seem to find them any other time of year! During this time of year, I often see advertisements for candy canes and candy cane gift baskets on DIRECTV channels. I have to admit that I've actually purchased a few different candy cane baskets for myself. The tradition of hanging candy canes on the Christmas tree has been practiced by my family for years. By the end of the season, there's often no more candy canes on the tree because I have eaten them all. I know it's a little immature of me to be so fascinated by a simple treat, but it's something that's a huge deal for me every year. Once in awhile, I'll catch my brother sneaking in a few licks of a candy cane that came off of the tree. I don't mind, though, since I know that we have hundreds hanging on there every year. Truth be told, I'm already stocking up on my all time favorite holiday treats

Thankful Thursday - God's Abundant Blessing
I know that the day is almost over, but it is not too late at all to post my Thankful Thursday. I don't want to miss this day to announce to everybody here on my blog that I got a series of blessings today. It is too good that I can't mention it here because I just don't want to sound like bragging, but God knows how happy and grateful I am right now. God is so wonderful! I just can't help being in awe that all these things happened in one day. God is the master of good surprises. He never withdraw His promise. Ain't it grand to be one of God's children? Thank you very much, God. You alone deserves all the glory.
.

Start A Collection
When I was still in the Philippines, my roommate/bestfriend and I used to collect wines of different kinds. Opps, I hope you don’t get me wrong; we only purchased bottles of wine that were on sale. It was our hobby and it was fulfilling. There were three reasons why we collected wines which were:
.
*For Display- We display the bottles of wine even if the content were as little as an ounce
*For Good Time Toast- Birthdays, project done, exam passed, promotion and others.
*For Cooking- Beef, liver or lobsters are at its best when you add a few drops of wine in it when cooking.
.
I had just decided that once we get settle down in our new house in Florida, I will start anew with this hobby. Add to it is to acquire Rogar estate wine opener . I think this is very cool. This estate wine opener is set on hardwood handle and table stand, that opens and re-corks wine bottle easier, faster and in most stylish way. It has a beautiful hand polished antique bronze finish that it can serve as an ornamental as well. Above all they are proudly crafted and made in U.S.A.
.
If you want to start a collection, consider to include Rogar wine openers . They are worth it. Visit their website for more designs and other products.

Best Buy Online Shopping Coupon Codes
I am still figuring out what I can buy for my husband as a Christmas gift. I only have a little over than a week left. I hope I can have it ready in a couple of days before Christmas Day. I hate last hour shopping, and I don’t have much time to go around because of my job. I wish there is a Best Buy here in our city where I can buy electronics for him. That would surely solve my problem. Best Buy is the favorite store of my husband. The closest one is in Melbourne and it is an hour drive away from us.
.
Oh well, whatever happens to online shopping? I had never thought that I could do online shopping in Best Buy, too, but yes I can. In fact, here is the website that I just found that gives away Best Buy coupon code for us to use to buy anything we want from their store such as laptop computers, televisions, digital cameras, appliances, video games and more. Cool, huh? Now I don’t have to worry about not having enough time and driving long distance just to get there to buy my husband’s presents because I can do it right here in the comfort of my home. Through using Best Buy coupons, it enables us to save with free shipping deals, too. BestOnlineCoupons.com is a website with listings of discount coupons, promotion codes and deals for many online stores and services.
.
I guess I can consider this task done now. Thanks to this website. I can now shop some cool and latest gadgets for my husband for Christmas.

Happy Birthday : Jay-Ar
I wanted to start this "Happy Birthday" journal on the first day of the next year, but well, I realize I can start anything at any time. So, here it is; my initial post... and I hope you follow me in the days to come where I will be posting the birthdays of my family members (both side: my husband and mine), friends and acquaintances. I may forgot some, but I certainly wouldn't do it on purpose.
.
Today is my nephew's birthday. We, (his family) calls him Jay-ar, but in his social life, he is known as "Thirdy". He is my sister's first son, and the first baby that I took care of. In other words, I was his babysitter when he was a baby until he was around 7 years old.
.
Although I don't follow closely his current life, but it is obvious that he is having the time of his life right now. The last time I saw him was when I had a visit in the Philippines. I was happy that he come home to see me, too. He is in pretty good shape and we can say that he is successful in the career he had chosen. In his age right now, 27, he is still single. Just like me, he is working in a city far away from home; but the difference is, we now have the advantage of internet and cellphone, unlike during my time. His aim is to be the best that he can be, and helping his younger siblings. He have dreams, and is living for it.
.
May your dreams come true, and may your all siblings be as successful as you are , too. May you find the true meaning of life and live in a godly way.

Remembering The Snow
There was blizzard in some north part of America. Few of my friends in Facebook showed their pictures of the snow, and it made me miss it.
.
This picture was taken winter of 2008, during one afternoon that I walked Fluffer at the backyard of our house in Michigan. I was wearing three layer of tops and another three layer of pants. I'm glad I have this picture. I know I had better ones with deeper snow, but I can't find it because they are stored in our old laptop where we didn't use anymore. However, I will still try to retrieve them and move them in a spot where I can have easy access to them.
.
I miss the sight of the snow. I love it. It felt so heavenly being amidst of it, but I don't like the cold weather. I remember being in a place where all I saw was wide sight snow; not a tree nor a house. It made me asked myself; "Am I on heaven?" I remember, too, that I kept telling my husband that "I'm gonna die here!", because of the cold weather. One thing that I regret not doing was making angel on the snow. Well, I can't blame myself because I can't bear the cold and there's no way that I can lie down on the snow to make an angel.
.
My husband and I were planning to visit Michigan on next December. If God permits. I want to see snow again, and I hope that this time I can play on it and make an angel, too.

Earn While You Shop
It is 12 days before Christmas. I am not done with my Christmas gifts shopping yet Most of the gifts that I bought are for kids. I have not bought anything for the grown ups yet. I was in the mall during my day off last Thursday for Christmas gift shopping, but… I don’t know. I end up buying for our house instead. It was probably because I was not done looking around the city; but my problem is that I don’t have enough time to go around anymore. My chance now would be doing online shopping, like I always do, because in this way I can do something else while shopping. This is what we are women, we prefer multi-tasking.
.
Here is a website that I found that while I shop in the comfort of my home, it enables me to earn more by referring friends and recommending products. Loyalese is a free, social way to earn quick and easy rewards with friends. This loyalty program enables the shoppers to earn cash back every time they shop at any of the 1,000+ stores. I find this very convenient to me because I found Sears deals which is my favorite store.
.
If you are a Facebook User, I suggest that you add Loyalese Facebook to your friend’s list. In this way you will be updated with the special deals they give away from some of the big-name retailers such as Target, Macy’s, Sears, Walmart and many more. You can also share to your friends the good deals you find by clicking the share button through Facebook.
.
Are you done with your Christmas gifts shopping yet? Register in Loyalese online shopping and start earning while you shop. Refer 3 friends and double your earnings. Tell me if this is not a fun way of shopping and earning at the same time. J

The Ten Commandments & The Greatest Commandment
....
.&..
When it comes to spiritual things, I am richer than my husband, and in some sense, I am not proud of it. I want him to be as rich as I am. Note that I am only comparing myself with my husband, that is to say that I may not be as rich as those I go to church with. Spiritual richness can't be determine solely on how much you know the Holy Bible or how much you have studied it. You may have read the entire bible a few times already, but it is the personal experiences that made you wise and grow to spiritual maturity. He asked me few nights ago if I am following the Ten Commandments, and he finds my answer very enlightening.
.
The Ten Commandments was given by God to the world during the lawless age where crime and violence were increasing at a fearful rate because there was practically no respect for law or constituted authority among His people. It was God himself who wrote the Ten Commandments on the tablet and appeared to His people on Mount Sinai to give it to His people.
....."Mount Sinai was covered with smoke, because the LORD descended on it in fire. The smoke billowed up from it like smoke from a furnace, and the whole mountain trembled violently. As the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke and the voice of God answered him." Exodus 19: 18-19 (for more information, I suggest that you read the entire book of Exodus.)
.
Although Jesus gave the "new" Greatest Commandment, it is wrong to proclaim that the Ten Commandments are being replaced, abolished or "done away". Ten Commandments was given by God to His PEOPLE for all the years.
.
Jesus gave this "new" commandment during the last night of His physical life on earth. He had—by teaching and example—already shown the disciples that keeping God’s commandments was simply an expression of love. To worship and obey God, allowing no other "gods", idols or anything else that comes in His place, to honor His name and keeping His day holy; summarizes the first four of the Ten Commandments into what Jesus called the "Greatest Commandment" that can be found in the New Testament; "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength". (Mark 12:30) The rest of the Ten Commandments which were from 5th to 10th were summarized into the second great commandment which is the "Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:31)
.
Jesus did not abolish the Ten Commandments that were from Old Testament, He was only making it easier for us to remember or to follow the whole text, and condensed it into two commandments. It made sense to me. Does it to you?

Food Trip Friday #24 - Gambas
I am joining Mommy Willa on this "Food Trip Friday" meme for a reason that I want to challenge myself to try something new food at least once a week in order for me to learn to cook.
.
..
.
.
.
When my husband was in the Philippines to visit me, one of the "first time" foods he has tasted was the Gambas, he liked it and became one of his favorite Filipino foods. The "hotter" (spicy hot), the better it is for him. None of us were trying to make Gambas when I get here in USA because we both don't know how to do it, until last Friday, he had decided to research for its recipe, gave it to me, and there you go. I am glad that it turned out great. We both enjoyed our dinner.
.
Ingredients:
Shrimp, ½ kilo, uncooked medium shrimp, cleaned, peeled and deveined
Red Bell Pepper Large, seeded, cleaned and diced
Carrot, medium diced
Garlic, 4 cloves, minced
Onion, ½ cup diced small
Tomato Sauce, 250 grams (one pouch)
3 Small native chili, minced
1/2 cup green peas (optional)
1/4 cup mushrooms
3 – 4 tablespoons of olive oil
.
Cooking Instructions:
Heat olive oil in pan, add garlic till it browns then add onion and sauté, cook for 30 seconds, then add carrots, chili, mushrooms, green peas and bell pepper.
Add tomato sauce, then cook over medium heat for five minutes. Add shrimp and cook for three minutes more, until shrimp turn opaque.
Serving suggestion is on heated iron plate/wooden platter with side of rice.

Free Your House From Pests
Bryan and Linda are a couple that we met during “Shuffleboard Games” here in our complex last year. They live up northwest and come down here in Florida every winter to stay until spring. In other words, they are what we call the “snowbirds”. Snowboard Games season is in again, which hosted by my husband and they only play during this time of the year until the weather becomes too hot again. It is fun joining them and playing, and while at the same time catching up on how we have been doing during the months that they were away.
.
Bryan was more of a storyteller today than a shuffleboard player. He talked about the renovation of his big house in Las Vegas due to the great damage it has from pest attack two years ago. It took him a year before he figure out that cockroaches has populated in his house which started in their guest room. He recalled that at one time, he welcomed a homeless friend to stay in his house temporarily until he will be able to stand on his own again. He suspected that it was how the pest population started because of the nature of job his friend have; and with the help of the Las Vegas Pest Control, Bryan and Linda are now confident and peaceful that their house is safe again.
.
Pest Control Company Las Vegas, as what I heard, has a complete pest control services for residential and commercial safety from any household pests such as bed bugs, cockroaches, ants, scorpions, spiders, rats, mice, etc. They are the trusted Las Vegas Exterminator , equipped with knowledge, prompt and reliable home services. If you have this same problem, don’t waste time, visit their website now, learn about bug facts and let them solve it. Free your house from pests.

Thankful Thursday - Extol God
It is such a good opportunity to post this Thankful Thursday and as children of God, we are very eager to share to the world the things that we received and happened to us, in honor to God our King and Lord. But before I go on, allow me to highlight my today's verse on this post.
.....*I thank God for the job that He gave to me.
.....*I thank God for all the love He showed on me.
.....*I thank God for the works He have on my husband's life.

Perfect Garland For Our Banister
. For the past couple of years, I've looked at the banister of our stairs in our entrance way and thought about how great some Christmas garland would look wrapped around it. But I've never actually decided to do anything about putting some up there until about a week ago. I thought that I'd use this extra time that I got off work for Thanksgiving to whip some up. I had thought about just ordering some offline with my CLEAR-INTERNET and saving myself the trouble, but I realized that it wouldn't be all that much trouble to make myself. I bought enough garland and lights to put together the lighted garland and it just looks so beautiful when you walk into our home and see it! I really regret not going to the trouble of doing this before. It really wasnŐt all that much trouble and does make our entranceway look pretty festive. Whereas it was pretty lacking before because itŐs so small and we couldnŐt really fit any other Christmas decorations in the space.
