COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS... Again and Again

Money can buy temporary happiness. Do you still remember how you feel when you bought your very first cellphone? Do you still remember the feeling when you brought home a new pair of expensive jeans? Do you still have the excitement that you had when you bought your first brand new car or a nice purse?
.
Just having those expensive things won't make you happy in the long run, unless you continue to value it even after you've had it for awhile. Even after it started to downgrade. Some people have the tendency to desire to possess the things they already have, to the higher level. Maintaining a fresh attitude for your not-so-fresh belongings is the key to appreciate what you have. Every once in a while, take a moment to reminisce on how excited you were with your possessions in the first place. Remember how blessed you were then... and you are still blessed to have it until now. Count your blessings again and again. That's the secret to happiness.
.
"But godliness with contentment is great gain." 1 Timothy 6:6 NIV

Very true, Grace. Most if us have si much and are not content. We need to learn to be content whatever the circumstances, like the Apostle Paul did.

We are very blessed :)
