Cheerfulness removes the rust from the mind, lubricates our inward machinery, and enables us to do our work with fewer creaks and groans. If people were universally cheerful, probably there wouldn't be half the quarreling or a tenth part of the wickedness there is. Cheerfulness, too, promotes health and immortality. Cheerful people live longest here on earth, afterward in our hearts.
"A cheerful look brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the bones." (Proverbs 15:30 NIV)

hello grace! yeah...so right. if we are cheerful, we find that things work out easily. i dunno, because these things are not quantified by science and more on the perspective.
Hi Grace,
This is a great blog! I love the fact that you take ordinary, everyday topics and have a knack of gently turning them back to God! :)
Kind regards,
-John.
I used to be a very sad person till my doc told me I had to turn my life around or I'll forever be sucked into the 'void'.
;)
Thanks :)) It makes me smile, and I didn't know that Bible verse before.

When negative things are going on in your life its very easy only taking notice of that negativity, and over looking the positive things. Everyone alive should be very thankful they get to breathe air because life would be non-existent without it. We take so much for granted. When's the last time you looked at your fingers and were thankful you had 10 of them?
