It's not possible, that's why it called Optical Illusion. The eye send false information to our brain by saying this is a possible. To prove it, you must look from 3D object instead of 2D.
I've always been amazed by optical illusion. I used to visit this great website with lots of illusion to fool the eyes. I can't seem to recall the URL though.

A good example of an optical illusion, Grace! It's a reminder of how our senses and mind can fool us. That goes for spiritual discernment too ;)
