Christmas Card Day

According to my Events Calendar, December 9th is Christmas Card Day. I was trying to look online about the origin of this events. Holiday Insights stated that; "We suspect that on this date, Henry Cole marketed the commercial Christmas card. The timing is certainly appropriate. We have not yet confirmed this."
.
Probably, today is a good day to send out your Christmas cards and holiday greetings. If you have yet to do so, use today to get a start.
.
I had already sent out my Christmas Card for my family in the Philippines. And on today, I will be preparing to send out Christmas Card for my husband's family and friends for here in Michigan and to some states.

I didn't know that the 9th was Christmas Card Day. . .interesting!
I have sent a few cards but the rest are spread on a table just waiting for me. I like to write a note in each one and that, of course, takes more time. When I receive a card from out of town and the card is just signed with a name, I feel a keen disappointment.

Merry Christmas!

I rarely give out Christmas cards... We just weren't so accustomed to it. We just greet each other personally...

I've been making my own cards for some years now. However, for this Christmas, I haven't started it yet, and my husband just reminded me about it. I don't have a design in my head, yet.
