Flexibility

I am the kind of person who writes down every plan that I had in mind and aim to accomplish them on the day that I set them, but on my case, more often than not, I have to move them again to another day because I was not able to do all of those listed things on my organizer on a given day. Most of the time, it puts me in trouble because it messed up with my commitment to others. I had problem with setting my time with flexibility, so that I can adjust whatever changes of plan I might encounter in a day.
.
While it is smart to plan our days ahead, but we must consider that sometimes, God has other things He wants us to do other than our plans. This is why James 4: 13 says; "Now listen, you who say, 'Today or tomorrow, we will go to this or to that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money. Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, 'If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that." NIV This is the way we acknowledge God's lordship in our lives.

Gods plans are always best.

Excellant words Grace! This is so very true. Trying to do things our own way, or on our own, creates a hectic, sometimes hardship kind of life.
Love reading what you have to share. God is smiling down upon you!

ive found that by not expecting too much of myself, i am usually able to easily accomplish all the things i set myself to do. i used to do what you do and it made me crazy and it made me feel bad about myself. now i plan to do only what i am reasonably sure i CAN do - and which always allows some wiggle room in case The Powers That Be have Other Plans in mind for me :).
