The Missionaries and The Dairy Farmer

A story was told about the missionary couple who stayed in the Philippines for almost 15 years. They came from Missouri and was called by God to serve in the squatter area of the said country. They didn't regret with their response to the calling. They have a great and effective ministry in the Philippines.
.
However, having a healthy relationship to God doesn't gave us an excemption to trials. One night, while they were sound asleep, group of burglars crashed to their house and took away their expensive stuff, including their money. They did not hesitate to give their money to the robbers. But one of them decided to take the husband with them. So, they dragged the missionary man and left the house.
.
The wife was left shaking. But her mind was focused on one Bible verse that says; "You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day," Psalm 91:5 NIV It just kept repeating on her head while she was sitting on the floor on one of the corner of the house, staring blankly at the wall. This verse just kept repeating over and over again on her mind.
.
While at the very same time, their friend in Missouri was milking a cow. He just suddenly felt the urge to pray for them. So, he stopped right away what he was doing and prayed for their missionary couple friend in the Philippines.
.
Few hours after, the wife heard the banging from the door and she saw her husband coming in. The burglars had a sudden change of mind. They had just decided to leave him somewhere. And God lead the missionary man home to his shocked wife.
.
Do you see God's holy intervention in their lives? The dairy farmer responded to the Holy Spirit's leading for a need to pray. God answered the prompt prayer of the wife. Our God is an answering God. Our God is an awesome God.
