Goodbye Bud!

I know I said we had three dogs in the house, but I have introduced only two dogs, because I can't get a good shot of the other one. Everytime he saw me holding a camera, he just walked away. I don't know why. It must be the flash, and too bad, I don't know how to use the camera without activating the flash. So, here, this was taken from the old camera that my husband had, it don't take good picture that was why I had to buy a new one.
.
This is Bud. He is five years old. He is the biggest among the three dogs in the house. He barked a lot whenever he saw somebody walking in the street, some vehicles close by or if he saw any kind of moving things outside the house. He barked a lot to our visitors, even if it has been for awhile, not because he didn't like them but because he wanted attention. You got to give him a cookie to shut his mouth, but a little later, he will ask for cookie again. That's Bud.
.
Every morning when I go out from our room, he wanted a few seconds of my attention by rubbing his back before he would let me go. Bud is a loving dog. He is very expressive in his feelings, but because of his size, I have to discouraged him sometimes. Everytime Mom or Dad is talking, it made him excited that he thought he is gonna get a cookie, and if he don't, he dragged their hands by his mouth and take them to where the cookie jar is. He even know how to use his head in pointing what he wanted.
.
This morning, while I was taking my late breakfast, my husband came home from school. He told me what happened to Bud. He died. Obviously he was hit by a car because he found him by the road very early this morning. So, that was why he was not there when I came down from our room. I thought he was just outside. My dad-in-law had been waiting for him to come back home from his regular pee time this morning. I am so sad. Everybody in the house is so sad. He is too young to die.
.
We love you, Bud, and we will gonna miss you. You will be always remembered. Thank you for the years that you have been with us and making us happy with you around. The house will never be the same again without you. Goodbye, Bud.

I sure understand as to how you guys are feeling right now. We had been through this type of situation many times. It hurts so bad that we almost didn't want to have dogs anymore. When I left home to USA, the last dog we had died and he was even sad when he saw me left. Just recently too, we lost our other dog and we only have two left. We had no clue whatsoever as to what happened to her. She just all of a sudden disappeared and we suspected that she probably encountered the coyotes and killed her. These things are so sad. Sorry about your dog.

Hi Grace!

Sorry for not visiting you before but at present I am a little busy. I understood you were better, so I was not worried about you. But now I read this post about your dog and I understan your sadness. We have four cats, and I can tell you there are part of our family, so I can feel your feelings very well.

My friend, cheers up, ok? (I hope I said the good expression, but sometimes my English is not so good, but my wish is you are happier, ok?

Love

This Praise, which would be unmeaning Flattery if inscribed over human ashes, is but a just tribute to the Memory of Boatswain, a Dog.”

grace,
Sorry to hear about Bud. Dogs are like family members to a lot of people. At least you have some pictures to remember him by.

Oh sweet Grace, I'm so sorry, I haven't been around. My Mommy has been busy developing blog for people & wasn't able to help me check any blogs. I'm so sorry about Bud. 5 years old is so young. I know that Bud is running free & happy at the Rainbow Bridge, playing with all his friends that past before him. I'm snuggling for you & your family Grace. Y'all are in my Mommy's prayers.

Am so sorry to hear about Bud, Grace. It is hard to lose a loved pet. They are more like a family member. It is never easy to lose them. At least you have loving memories of Bud. That is what helps us get through the tough times. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
