If Life Were About Us...

I realized that most of the times I forgot that life is not about us... it is about God, the creator of the universe.
.
*If it were about us, why did God created three-quarters of the earth to be covered with water?
*Why does the swordfish have brilliant and beautiful colors that last only thirty seconds in the sun?
*If it were about us, why are there sounds that our ears can't hear while dogs can hear them?
*Why did God created the eagle to have better eyesight than we?
*Why can a baby horse walk at birth, but we humans take five to six months just to learn how to crawl?
.
God created it just the way He likes it because it's not about us! It's about Him, and He does it because it pleases Him!
.
"For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him." (Colossians 1:16 NIV)
.

Love it Grace! Awesome post as always. You are so right. It is about Him and not about us. Sometimes we need this reminder when live becomes hectic and we get all caught up in our lives. Bless you dear sweet sister and friend!
