God Will Never Leave You

Yesterday was Ean's (my step-son) high school graduation party. It was very hard for him to appear happy to the guest and visitors when deep inside him he was sad. He and his dad (my husband) were performing some music yesterday, and he was caught with great sorrow that caused him to stopped in the middle of the performance.
.
Why was he sad? A while ago before they performed, he received a text message that told him that his dear and loved music instructor died. How would you take that? And on the day that you are suppose to be happy. It was a tragic death. Life must be tricking him. This music instructor has gave him inspiration and a lot more of inspiration to go on with his love in music. He felt being left behind in a music world that was yet uncertain for him. It is not always a pleasant feeling to be left behind by our dear and loved ones.
.
But it is not that way with our relationship to God. God's children are secure. Our God will never leave us. One of the many promises that God gave us can be find in Joshua 1:5 and in Hebrews 13:5 "I will never leave you nor forsake you." Wherever you may be today, and whatever circumstances you may be in today, you are not alone. If you have placed your trust in Jesus for your eternal salvation, you can be certain that He will never leave you. If you are sure that you are with God, you can be sure that God will never leave you.
