Looking Through The Eyes Of Faith

Nobody is excempted when it comes to trials, problems and temptation. Even Jesus Christ himself was tempted, too. But He was victorious! Most of us, at one time or another, we feel like we were surrounded by fierce giants when attacked by obstacles. As frail as we are, we felt so hopeless. We fail to realized that we have a God that is bigger than our problems. 1 John 4:4 says; "(God) the one who is in you is greater than the one that is in the world." (NIV) God in his fullness is far greater than we can imagine. He is unfathomable. The bible says that the earth is His footstool. (Isaiah66:1 NIV) Would that be enough to give you an idea on how big our God is? If God is bigger than our problems, that truth should comfort us.
.
Matthew 19:14 says; "Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."(NIV) Children have the eyes that sees God as a Big God than the adult believers do. They are not fantasizing. They have the genuine eyes of faith. God shared His kingdom to those who have faith in Him. But as we grow older, our eyes of faith grow dimmer as well. Our vision of a Big God became dull. We easily became scared of the obstacles attacking us. And the worst scenario could be that we turn away from God just because of the problems and obstacles that surrounded us. Did we thought that God can't handle it? Did we thought that God ignored us? Did we thought that God will not help us? Absolutely, not! When we are facing some trials and obstacles, God is there, lovingly watching us. He wants us to grow in a way that we can learn from life's lessons and become strong and trusting in His protection. He is molding us and helping us grow to be able to look through the eyes of faith.
