We Are Save From Something... And For Something.

If you have the gift of salvation, you need to learn that there is a huge difference between being saved from something and being saved for something. When you are saved from something, the focus is on you, what you get out of it.
.
While it is true that salvation are about the following:
* you not going to hell
* you not having to pay the penalty you deserve
* you getting God's mercy
* you receiving God's grace
* you getting to be with God for all eternity
* you having Christ prepare a place for you in His Father's mansion.
.
We need to know when we are saved for something, the focus is on God, and now our salvation means the following purposes:
* pointing to God's mercy
* worshiping Him
* giving Him the glory He deserves
* exalting His for His greatness
* singing His praise for ever and ever
.
I am saved! I glorify God for all the things He did in my life! Praise His holy name!
.

I love that picture with the dog... so cute..
God is always there to help us and guide us in a different ways. We just have to be sincere in our prayers that really comes from our heart.

That is a wonderful reminder about how we are saved FOR something, Grace. The Lord has purpose in all that He does. I always think of Romans 8:28 -

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
