Holding Hands

"Have you ever wonder why God made our hands with spaces in between fingers? It is so that somebody elses fingers could fill in."
.
This is a wonderful quote that I got from a book that my niece gave me for my birthday three years ago. From the moment I read this quote, it sticks to my mind up to now. I just love this quote very much. Whenever my husband and I watch TV shows or movie together, we hold hands; when we walk on the road or in the mall together, we hold hands; we hold hands a lot when our hands were not busy on some other things. It is some form of loving communication to us without necessarily having to say any words. It symbolizes that we are not only husband and wife, but we also consider each other as best friend.
.
When I was still in the Philippines, I love holding hands with my best friend and good friends, too. It made us feel happy and blessed that we are friends and that we feel the spirit of God's love in each other. It was some kind of connection that travels from our hands all the way to our heart and sent the message that having each other was a gift from God.
.
"Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love." (1 John 4:7-8 NIV)
