Stay Warm With The Floor Heater

One of the reasons why I convinced my husband to move down to Florida because I don’t think I can handle another winter here in Michigan. Last winter was terrible for me. I was really sick and I don’t want that to happen to me again. Well, my parents-in-law wanted to move down somewhere where it is warm, too, but I guess for the main time that they can’t, they’ll have to figure out what they can do to stand against the cold. Yes, we have heater here in the house, but because the house is too big it doesn’t seem to work very well.
.
My father-in-law was talking about radiant floor heating system . It is a process where all radiation travels from warmer surfaces that emit it, to cooler surfaces that absorb it. This fact is why radiant heat is such a great option. While other forms of heating just warm the air, leaving surfaces cold which act as heat sinks from which your body can lose heat, a radiant floor heater stays warm, allowing your body to retain more of the heat.
.
Talking about floor heater, let me lead you to this website; PexHeat.com. Pexheat is a radiant floor company in that it provides you with information on radiant heat as well as the materials you need to get the job done. You can find out more about our radiant in floor heating solutions by hopping on to their website.

I have lived in Detroit all of my life through bitter cold winters and extremely humid heat. Last winter we never raised our thermostat above 62(f). I don't think we are particularly masochistic but rather we know that as long as the pipes don't freeze we can always put more clothes on. When we see our breathe inside the house we know it is time to turn the heat up a notch. Same in reverse (to a point) with the A/C.

The idea is in all things there is a way. You may not always be extremely comfortable but you will struggle a way through if you try.

Put sheet insulation in the windows over the winter, seal up the house tight so it retains what heat is generated. This is the way we MUST learn to thrive in this new world we are living in. Do what you can to conserve and be creative in your thinking.

Be Well
