Food Trip Friday #15 - Salted Peanut

I am joining Mommy Willa on this "Food Trip Friday" meme for a reason that I want to challenge myself to try something new food at least once a week in order for me to learn to cook.

All of a sudden, I miss eating salted peanut. It keeps bugging my mind that I feel like I will get sick if I can't eat salted peanut. I went to find it on grocery stores, but I can't find exactly the kind that I want to eat. So, I told my husband to take me where I can buy raw peanut and I will make my own salted peanut, and I was so happy that I found some raw peanut in Flea Market.
.
I then shelled it off, bring to boil the vegetable oil, put few garlic on it and poured the shelled peanut. I let it boiled for 1o minutes, tried a couple of times if it was crunchy enough. I removed the peanut from the boiling oil using the sifter and place them on table napkin until dried from oil. I put them in a bowl and sprinkled some salt on it.
.
I was very satisfied. I like it very much, considering it was my first time doing it. My husband loves it very much, too. We both enjoyed eating the salted peanut while I was watching TV and he was on his laptop working on something. He had problem with his laptop earlier and glad that his laptop have backup software . It saves him from a whole lot of trouble.
