Jane (my Filipino neighbor) and I went to Wal-Mart for our “girls only” moment. We walk our way to Wal-Mart which is only 300 yards away from our house. It was very cold outside that we both have to wear gloves, boots and jacket. She happened to mention to me her observation that she was always the only one who had wet hair every time they go out in the morning. I explained to her that people here are avoiding the possibilities of pneumonia that it can cause, and that is why most people here are either taking shower on night time or to use hair blow dryers before going out.It is really cold here in Florida that every time we go out, we have to wear fleece. Is it still very cold there? We have had very cold weather here lately, down in the single digits at night and only to 20s during the day. But that actually is normal for this time of the year.
