If you have a choice to move to other states, which do you prefer, Virginia, Maryland or Washington D.C.? I didn't know that looking for a house takes a lot of work and is very stressful, until my husband and I did it. With all those calling, bidding, negotiating and such things. If you are planning to move to one of these states that I mentioned above, let me share to you some reviews about these three states; Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC.
.
According to my research, Virginia is located on the Atlantic coast of the Southern United States and is the 35th largest state. Most part of Virginia has a humid subtropical climate. Its economy is very well-balanced with many diverse source of income, made up to 4.1 million civilian workers. It has the highest concentration of technology workers of any state. Virginia's educational system consistently ranks in the top ten states on the U.S. Department of Education's National Assessment of Educational Progress, with Virginia students outperforming the average in all subject areas and grade levels tested.

Maryland, which is also known as “The Free State” or “The Old Line State”, is located in the Mid Atlantic region of the United States. It possesses a great variety of topography; it ranges from sandy dunes dotted with sea grass in the east, to low marshlands teeming with wildlife and large bald cypress near the bay, to gently rolling hills of oak forest in the Piedmont Region, and pine groves in the mountains to the west. The majority of Maryland's population is concentrated in the cities and suburbs surrounding Washington, DC and Maryland's most populous city, Baltimore. Maryland has wide array of climates for a state of its size. It depends on numerous variables, such as proximity to water, elevation, and protection from colder weather due to down slope winds. It is one of the most environmentally friendly states in the country. Forbes.com rated Maryland as the fifth "Greenest" state in the country behind four of the Pacific States and Vermont. The Bureau of Economic Analysis estimates that Maryland's gross state product in 2006 was US$257 billion. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Maryland households are currently the wealthiest in the country. Also, the state's poverty rate of 7.8% is the lowest in the country.
.
Washington, D.C. is the capital of the United States, The city is located on the north bank of the Potomac River and is bordered by the states of Virginia to the southwest and Maryland to the other sides. Washington has a humid subtropical climate typical of Mid-Atlantic U.S. areas removed from bodies of water, with four distinct seasons. Summers tend to be hot and humid, with daily high temperatures in July and August averaging in the high 80s °F (about 30 °C). Washington has a growing, diversified economy with an increasing percentage of professional and business service jobs. The District has growing industries not directly related to government, especially in the areas of education, finance, public policy, and scientific research.
