My Hearing Test

I had my schedule for my free hearing test this morning. It was in Accurate Hearing Clinic at Sandusky,MI. As expected, they noted down my medical history related to my hearing problems.

Then, I had undergone a test called "Pure Tone Audiometry". It is a simple test where you listen to a range of beeps and whistles and indicate when you can hear them by pressing a button. The softest sound you can hear are then marked on a graph called an audiogram. For more information, here is the link you can look for;

I also had undergone a test called "Tympanometry".
Tympanometry - a measurement testing the compliance or movement of the
eardrum in response to loading the ear canal with air pressure equal to 200 mm (equivalent water pressure). This test is designed to determine the movement of the eardrum as air pressure is changed in the ear canal.
For more information regarding this, you can go to this website;

I'm set on for my next hearing test schedule on October 17th.

Going back home from the hearing test, it was a chilly morning. I can't help but amazed at the beautiful colors of the leaves on the trees. Very fascinating. It made me thanked God for His wonderful creations.

What a beautiful photograph of God's handywork, Grace!

How strange - I had a free hearing test yesterday too! Mine turned out to be in the 'normal' range. Maybe it's a global thing to get your hearing tested!!

Thank you so much for the wonderful comment you left on my blog. I am honoured!

Beautiful photo! It's a marvelous creation of God and as the poem goes, "Poems are made by fools like me, but only God can make a tree!"
