Counselling

We often heard of the quote; "No man is an island," and we all know that this is true. The fact that God created man with a built-in need for counselling and with a built-in capacity for receiving counsel is perfect for that quote.
.
It all started when God created Adam. God knew that it was not good for Adam to be alone, so He created Eve. God meant for the two of them to be intimately needing each other. The good thing was, God was intimately walking with them, too. He talked with them side by side at the Garden of Eden. God was counselling them on what to do and what to avoid. But unfortunately, Eve was chosing to listen to wrong counsel. It was the counsel of the serpent. And because of that, the beautiful fellowship was broken. But God is merciful and loving. He sent His son Jesus to restore us back to Him. Jesus came to counsel us through His holy word. Jesus gave us life back to God.
.
"Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers." Psalm 1:1-3 NIV
