Turtle Day is celebrated worldwide in a variety of ways, from dressing up as turtles to saving turtles caught on highways, to research activities.

"The Goffles" is an unofficial turtle fan club centered in Ohio which celebrates World Turtle Day every year by educating the public about turtles, dressing up as turtles, learning more about turtles or visiting turtles in a zoo or aquarium, among other activities.

a world turtle day. i never heard of this before. it seems that the philippines is not aware of this. thanks for sharing because i support advocacies on preserving endangered species.
