Congratulations To The Saints!

We were at Orville's house this afternoon to watch the Super Bowl XLIV. This is my second time watching Super Bowl here in USA, but I was not serious watching about it last time. We had Super Bowl food such as hotdogs, sausage, meatball and pizza. Mary brought a cake and served it with chocolate ice cream. We had fun today watching the game while enjoying the food with the family. Football day is family day.
.
I was not a sport fan, but because my husband and his entire family are football fans, and I started to become interested in that game, even though there are a lot of times that it gave me hives because of too much tension I took from watching the game. Please bear with me.
.
It was the New Orleans Saints who won. That was a good game to both teams, Indianapolis Colt and New Orleans Saints. According to my husband, they haven't won yet for a long time, and he wished that this time they will win, which really happened. Congratulations to the Saints!

Like you, I was not necessarily a football fan, but I love a good underdog story. I am from the New Orleans area, and the Saints have never won a Superbowl. In fact, there were times that many called them the 'Aint's, because their season left much to be desired.

When they made it to the playoffs, I started watching the games with my husband, and we had a great time. We went to a Superbowl party with friends and had the most fun being together.

The Saints' win was langniappe ~ a Louisiana term for "a little extra."

Congratulations, Saints!
