Crazy Weather

What happened to the weather here in Michigan? It is mid of July and it is supposed to be warm here. It will be eight more weeks before the summer will be officially over. But guess what? I was wearing socks, long pants and sweater. I even wanted to wear a pair of gloves, too, but my husband laughed it off.
.
Lookie here at Paige. She wanted to be carried throughout the day. She was shaking and so my mom-in-law had decided to put on her shirt. Poor Paige. She seem confused on what is happening to our weather, too.
.
Paige obviously feels comfortable wearing a shirt and due to that, I am planning on making more shirts for her from the old sweatshirt. I was a dressmaker, but this is something that I never did before. This sure will be exciting. :)

Introducing Simba

I want to introduce to you this cat, Simba. I forgot what breed she is, but Simba is the cat of my husband’s cousin. Everybody loves her because she is so playful and she loves to sit on your lap. My husband’s cousin made sure that she is always clean and had been treated for fleas, so that everybody are happy, Simba herself and all that surrounds her.
.
If you need flea treatment for cats , visit FleasControl.com. It is a site that gives you guides and general tips on dealing with flea problems. They provide very useful information for trying to develop a flea control program for your dog or cat. Their site has pages on each of the major products as well as on each of the generic ways you can try to deal with the problem.

"Be Kind To Animal Week"

-1
May 3-9, 2009 is a “Be Kind To Animal Week”. American Humane Association is the founder of this and is supported by Home Again Web Site . They encourage the pet owners to “be kind” to their companion animals this week by outfitting them with proper identification that cannot fall off or become impossible to read while at the same time, you are donating $1 to the care of the shelter animals.

Both of our dogs have the proper identification hanging on their neck, and yes, they are almost impossible to read because it is fading. That can be possible cause that we will lose our dogs forever if they get lost, and nobody can tell who they're belong to because of the faded identification tag. HomeAgain.com is calling pet owners to register their pets to them. HomeAgain.com is a comprehensive national pet-recovery service that goes beyond microchipping. It is a permanent form of identification that cannot fall off or become impossible to read, giving pets the best chance of being reunited with their owners when they get lost. HomeAgain.com members has telephone access to pet-recovery specialists and 24/7 emergency medical assistance at 1-888-HomeAgain. The good news is that they have already helped recover more than 500,000 pets.
.
BringPetsHome.com is a fundraising Web site specifically created to help shelter animals . They support the campaign “Be Kind To Animal Week” by giving the portion of any purchase made through their website and will go to animal shelters for food and medical care at no additional cost to visitors. Simply shop through their collection of highly popular retailers and you can help pets save their lives. Their goal is to help provide care for pets in need—until they find loving homes or are reunited with their original owners.

Animal Health Care

To most household here in US, dogs and cats are considered part of the family. I remember last Christmas, my mom-in-law asked me to write down names on each of the Christmas socks and I was surprised that our three dog’s name was on the list, too. Well, what it mean was that, they deserve special treats, too. I already introduced to you that this is Fluffer, a mongrel. He is so submissive to what I want him to do.
.
