This past weekend my wife and I went to California to visit my son and his family. We are from a small town, and I must say that we were excited to do a lot of the touristy stuff and see all the sites t that we’ve seen on TV for years and years.
.
My wife wanted to see Beverly Hills , and I wanted to see the famous sign in Hollywood, plus a laundry list of other landmarks. Every time we travel it’s a non-stop occasion and we make sure to wear ourselves out—hey, that’s what you lay out the big bucks for, right?
.
While we wanted fulfilled a big agenda, the number one priority was spending time with family. It’s been months since we’ve soon our son and his wonderful grandkids, and we really wanted to spend as much time with them as possible. We even got a hearing test in California before visiting. We wanted to ensure that we could get as much out our visit as we could.
.
My son’s family is doing great, but we didn’t really give them a chance to rest while we were in town. They could barely keep up with their touristic parents.
