How Big Is Your God?

Most of us, at one time or another, we feel like we are surrounded by fierce giants when attacked by obstacles. As frail as we are, we felt so hopeless. We fail to realized that we have a God that is bigger than our problems. 1 John 4:4 says; "(God) the one who is in you is greater than the one that is in the world." (NIV)

God in his fullness is far greater than we can imagine. The bible says that the earth is His footstool. (Isaiah66:1 NIV) Would that be enough to give you an idea on how big our God is? If God is bigger than our problems, that truth should comfort us.

Matthew 19:14 says; "Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."(NIV) Children have the eyes that sees God as a Big God than the adult believers do. They are not fantasizing. They have the genuine eyes of faith. God shared His kingdom to those who have faith in Him. But as we grow older, our eyes of faith grow dimmer as well. Our vision of a Big God became dull. We easily became scared of the obstacles attacking us. And the worst scenario could be that we turn away from God just because of the problems and obstacles that we see. Did we think that God can't handle it? Did we think that God ignored us? Did we think that God will not help us? Absolutely, not! When we are facing some trials and obstacles, God is there, lovingly watching us. He wants us to grow in a way that we can learn from life's lessons and become strong and trusting in His protection. He wants us to become better person whom he can proudly say to His angels; "This is my child who sees me as a Big God."

Dear Grace,
Of course I wouldn't mind you following my blog! Nobody would. It's completely your decision as to which blogs you will follow. Mine is just a bunch of fluff, which is probably what makes it seem fun.

Have a great day, girl!

"Children have the eyes that sees God as a Big God than the adult believers do" >>> true true!

because of the many things that we desire other than God, we tend to see God in a different way.

world has influenced so much the lives of the people.

thanks for sharing this because it shows that there are still people who depend and strongly believe in God.

Wow! How easily and quickly we forget these truths when times get tough. But God is the same in the good times and the bad and He is bigger than anything that comes against us. Thanks for sharing and i love the picture. I'll be back and hope to hear from you again soon.
