One investment that I have started for a few years now is purchasing jewelry. Diamonds, gold, silver and some other stones don’t depreciate; even if they do, they will still go up again. Most of the jewelry that I bought were from my coin savings; raising a specific amount to buy the jewelry that I want, and once it was purchased, I will start saving all over again. My husband just love to give me jewelries on every special occasion, too. Acquiring jewelry can also be very helpful in times of need or they could be precious treasures that I could pass down to my children..
Just a couple of days ago, I have decided that when I get the chance to visit Philippines, I will buy jewelry with diamonds to give to my family; it could be rings or earrings, as long as it has diamonds because I realized diamonds in the Philippines are very expensive compare here in USA; and they can keep it for lifetime, too. Hmm, I think I need to start figuring out how much I will need then.
