In the past few years, I've been making my own gift wrap and gift bags and been having a whole lot of fun with it. By now, I'm basically an expert and have gathered all kinds of craft scraps of paper, ribbon and little trinkets that I use to help wrap gifts and make it look like a professional did it. But this year I'm going even more DIY and making the gifts too.

I'm pretty good at making all kinds of crafts and stuff and I enjoy making the wrapping paper and stuff so I thought it would be even more fun for me this year. Plus, I work from home so it's easier to make the gifts instead of going out and buying them. I was looking online to find some ideas for homemade gifts, when I came across this site Cleartvbundle.com and read through it. Then I decided to sign up for the internet company.

But in the meantime while I'm still trying to come up with actual gift ideas, I work on a DIY gift bag here or there. I also like to incorporate things that the people who are getting them love onto the bags, like trains for my little nephew.

Belated happy "Love's" Day to all of you. I apologize for the late greeting. I have been very busy lately that I was not able to post about Valentine's Day.

In the morning of the Valentine's Day, we went to church. After the service, there were lunch served at the cafeteria (proceeds goes to fund raising for the mission). After lunch, we went home, and there my husband and I exchanged our gifts to each other. We agreed not to give something consumable like flowers, candy or chocolates, but instead, to give each other what we think is needed.
I gave my present firts. It is a pajama set and a handmade card (I made myself). I gave him pajama set because 3 of his pajama set were badly ripped very lately.

After I gave mine, it was my husband's turn. He made me close my eyes, and led me to the guest room, and there I saw it, a portable electric sewing machine and a message card. I was really surprised. I didn't expect to received something that worth like this. I am so happy. He knows I will be happy to have this. I have been telling him several months ago that if we got money, we will get a portable electric sewing machine. I love sewing. I have been making dress since I was 12 years old. I had spent 5 years working as a sewer in a garment factory. I have been into sewing business (self-employment) for 4 years. And now, I am so excited to revive my passion in sewing. I guess I don't have to buy pajamas for my husband, anymore. Instead, I will just make pajamas for him. Hmm... It made sense. (he-he-he)

Later that afternoon, we went to the mall to watch Avatar. We were both hesitant to watch that, but because of the recommendation of his family and friends, that was why we choose to watch Avatar, and to our surprise, we like the movie. It was not what we expected. It was really a good movie and we are glad we watch it. After the movie, we went home, and there he made romantic dinner with candle lights and music. It was such a great dinner. Thank you very much, my huckleberry. I love you very much.

Time To Make A List

It is December already. Actually, it is only 21 days to go for Christmas day. Wow! How did the days flew so fast? It means it is about time that we make a list of gifts for our family, relatives and friends. I wish I can have job very soon so that I can buy all of you a Christmas gifts. (He-he-he) Last year, we bought our gifts a week before Christmas day. In that way, we can avoid the rush that can possibly lead to over-spending.

One of my nephews have specific request for his Christmas gift, he is dying to have a skateboard. Almost all his friends have one and that is why he wants to have one so bad. My sister, (his mother) is happy with the kind of friends he have. With today’s generation, we really have to be aware of what kind of friends our kids are surrounded with.

It's About Time To Wear Reading Eyeglasses

As I am writing this post, I am hoping that my husband will thought of opening my blog tomorrow and thus, he will find and read this post.

One of my wishlist for this coming Christmas is to have a prescription glass. After staying more than a year here in USA, and being on the computer most of the time, it prompts me to say that it is about time that I should wear a prescription glass. I was in Walmart yesterday and took a store flier from them. When I get home, I checked what the deals are on this month and I found out that there is a Samsung camera in a very good price. I have been waiting for a good deal of camera because I want to purchase one and give to my nephew who really loves photography. This could be my Christmas gift for him. It was Bobbie's (my husband's sister) graduation this afternoon. She had finally finished her nursing course, while working as a nurse assistant in Michigan University. With her in the picture are Dad and Mom. They are obviously very happy. Congratulations! We are so proud of you, Bobbie!
