Do You Need Help To Do The Math?

Yesterday was the first day of school after the Christmas break. It was a terrible day for the children because it was such a freezing day yesterday, and will continue to stay that way until tomorrow. I hate going to school when it is cold, but I love to learn, especially if it is something new. When I was still in school, subjects that related with science and calculation were my favorite subject. However, I believe that it has to do with the way the professor explained it. If he or she explained it in a boring way, there is no way that we will love and learn the subject. Your only chance would be in the self-study.

Today’s students have the advantage of internet. Scholastic.com is created to help students who have fallen behind the chance to catch up and keep up. Focusing on Number and Operations, the cornerstone of elementary mathematics, the program teaches students the basics of math—computation, number sense, and problem solving. Do The Math helps students develop the skills they need to compute with accuracy and efficiency, the number sense they need to reason, and the ability to apply their skills and reasoning to solve problems. The modular design gives the program the flexibility to span multiple grade levels.
