There's nothing more fulfilling than doing what God wants us to do, to continue on finding out on what else you can do in life in service to others, and to use your gifts.

My Alex
One of the things that had really keep me from doing the things that I am suppose to be doing lately is this cutie Alexandrine Parakeet that we call Alex. A very good friend asked us (my husband and I) if we want a parakeet. They had three birds and they can not give all the attention each birds needed, so they decided to give him away. We went to their house to see the parakeet, he stayed on my husband's shoulder shortly, he stayed on mine, too... he seemed observing us... and we instantly fell in love with him.
We have him for almost two months now. The arrangement was to give him a try with us, and if it won't work, we can give him back to them. So far, the words that he can say are; "COCO", it's when he wants something, "Kiss-Kiss", it's when he wants some kisses, which lasted an hour or more if you don't interrupt him, and "What's up-What's up" very softly almost like a whisper. He already learned these words when he was still with his previous owner. Nothing new since we have him. We tried to teach him some new words, but my husband said he's probably working on it, because my husband always overheard him mumbling something. He is very good at mimicking something else though, something that he hears around.
He is very demanding on attention. He always wants both of us to be in the same room that he is. He likes to be on my shoulder when I am working in our kitchen. He likes eating with us on our dining table. He likes to eat. He likes to dunk his dry food on the water. Lately, I started taking him with me to shower, while he is on my shoulder, the water fell on my head he got some, too. He seems to like it very much.
We love him dearly. We give him what we think he needs and is good for him. We hope to be able to give him the attention that he needs, and I hope that he will start learning new words and will become and stay physically, emotionally and socially healthy.

GE Photos by Grace Elliott
I am so sorry that it took me over a month to post here again. I was so caught up with a lot of things; NEW BUSINESS, FIRST EVER PET, and THE HOLIDAY SEASON AT WORK (being a cashier at WalMart). Well, lately they put me on late morning to early night shift, that left me not much time and energy to do something else that I wanted to do at the end of my shift... I even neglected lately my gardening and keeping the house in order. It will become more intense as the Christmas day comes closer... finalizing gifts... going to parties... and preparing for my personal Christmas day. Times like this, I always ended up sick in the past years; cold, cough and fatigue. That is why this time, I don't want it to happen again. I carefully consider first any events or activities to participate, so I can fully enjoy the season of Christmas, and can fully be grateful to the true meaning of Christmas.
I wanted to launch my business on January, but I was thinking and hoping that Christmas time is when people may want to order my product as gifts to their love-ones.
Finally, here is the business that I was talking about on my previous post. I call it GE Photos by Grace Elliott. Here is the link on my Facebook page; https://www.facebook.com/GE-Photos-by-Grace-Elliott-169903000025693/

I took all the photos myself, turned them into black and white using apps, and watermarked them. The photos size are 4x6. Frames are by orders, and mostly from Amazon.
If you are interested on this product for somebody or even just for yourself, send me message and I will try to reach to you and we will discuss about it.
Thank you very much, and may God bless all of you.

I Will Be Launching My Micro-Business/Hobby Soon!
My mother was my first handicraft teacher. She made dresses for my doll when I was 4 years old. She taught me how to be busy and productive with my own hands. She was a micro-business minded person, too. She taught me to sell snack items in my classroom when I was only 9 years old. I started my very first handicraft business when I was 10 years old. It was fashion earrings out of pins, beads and buttons... with cut out rubber as a lock behind ears. Later on, I made hairclips, headbands, bracelets... ready-to-wear clothing line... handmade greeting cards... and more. Some of them made it to the mall... and some of them made it overseas. I made pretty much good money out of them... and at the same time, it was fun for me doing them. In other words, they were "money-making hobbies".
I am so excited to announce that on next week, I will be launching my very first micro-business/hobby here in USA. And here's a head up, I will be politely asking appointment with you to present to you my works. :-)
Twenty years ago, God gave me this Bible verse;
"The Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He has watched over your journey through this vast wilderness." Deuteronomy 2:7 NIV
... as a promise that He will bless the works of my hands... and this is the reason, too, why I personally don't believe in winning lottery or sweepstakes for myself because God clearly stated how He will bless me. :-)
Have a good night, everyone!

Sunrise at Cocoa Beach, Florida
Today is my last day of my week vacation, and saving the best for last means spending sunrise at Cocoa Beach. The sun rises 7:31 today, and we got there 7:19, just enough time to settle down and prepared my camera on tripod. I just got my new point & shoot Canon Powershot SX410IS 40X zoom, 20 megapixels from my sweet husband as his present on our 7th year anniversary. :-)
I'm still on the stage of learning about my camera and what it can do. I had never been so much interested in camera before other than using pictures on stuff, but on this one, I will try to find out the best it can do. Here are the two best pictures I have this morning. Enjoy!

It is breathtakingly beautiful!
The majesty of God's creation!
Oh, the reward of getting up early!
While my husband was around and about with his "toy", the metal detector, I was just there lying on the beach after I took the pictures. I just wanted to enjoy the late summer morning breeze. My husband and I are so grateful and happy that we decided to move down here in Florida from Michigan, but honestly though, I don't spend a lot of times at the beach. The last time I was on the water was probably a year ago and that was in Playalinda Beach, Titusville, Florida. However, we come here for sunrise coffee, probably once in every 3 months for me.
May you all have a good day. I will try to do more things that are still on my "to-do" list before this day will be over. Thank you for reading. Meanwhile, I would like to leave this Bible verse to you;
"From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord's name is to be praised." (Psalm 113:3 KJV)

Start All Over Again
Today is my 5th day of my 1 week vacation. I know most people expected me to be somewhere else because they knew that's what I always want to do... "to see the world", but unfortunately, and humbled by God, I can't afford to go anywhere this time, and so I am forced to stay home and accomplish the things that are on my "to-do-list". Proud to say, I have accomplished few things already, few more things to go... and that leads me here online... I was supposed to move my previous vacation pictures from my laptop to my flash drive, but something on the way that made me want to open my blog... and found out that it was BLOCKED! My blog is not viewable online anymore! I was so scared! Did I finally lost my blog because I didn't open it for a long time? Oh no! I don't want to lost it. It got my timeline from the first few months that I arrived here in the USA. Thankfully, God's spirit leading me (I'm sure) I found the solution and ... here I am!
Let me say this one more time again (I don't know how many times did I say this), please allow me to start all over again. I want to go back into blogging. I want to get back into writing my thoughts, my feelings, my insights and the excitements that has been/is going on in my life. I have tons of them in store. I will try to start as soon as possible... but this is all for now. I need to equally spread my time and attention on a lot of things, but one thing is for sure, blogging will not fall into last of my list because I consider blogging as a form of ministry, too... it should be on high list of my priority, too. By the way, few months before I arrived here in the USA, God revealed to me that I will be writing here in this country... I never did any writing before except for school composition letter which I was very good at... and it was way before I heard anything about blogging, and when I started doing it here, it feels like I found LOVE!
Bye for now, but not for long... I hope. Let me leave you this verse for you to ponder today, this is one of my favorite promise from God to me;
"For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV)

Directv Billing Surprises
When we moved here in Florida, our first cable provider was BrightHouse. For some reasons, my husband decided to switch to Directv. For a while, I thought both cable provider was doing good until recently...
Our Directv bill is on my bank account, and for these past several months, it has been horribly surprising me how they charged us. If I am lucky enough, I happened to remember to ask my husband to check on how much they charged us for the current month, and if it went far too high than expected or agreed, my husband called them and complained about it, and then they would lower it down before the due date came. Happy? Yes, I am. :-) But on some months, I happened to forget to ask my husband to check how much they charge us, and when the due date came, there I was, shocked and annoyed on how much they took out from my bank account. And then, my husband called them, and then they promised to lower it down for next month, but then, the current charge was already done. It didn't stop there... because as I said, if I am lucky enough to remember to ask my husband to check how much the charge for that month will be, then they will charge us on the amount agreed... if not, another horrible surprise for me on my bank account...
What I hate was, why do they have to keep doing it, annoying us with the surprising over-charge in our bill? Why can't they keep the charge amount the same as what agreed? It is really annoying that they do that because I am very careful with my spending down to the very 1 dollar difference, and then, they would just do that to me carelessly... I hope they will consider improving their customer service. I am currently working in a customer service, too, and we do everything to make our customer happy.

My Mom In Her Prime Age (Maybe?)
My husband and I were watching "Heaven is for real" the other day. It made me think about what my mother would look like when I see her in heaven.
To those who didn't know: My mother went to be with our Creator last April 19th of this year. She trip over something on the floor, broke her hip. Being diabetic and of her fragile age which was 83, the doctors did not suggest surgery. She was bedridden, and there came the kidney problem... the pneumonia... heart weakened... and exactly a month after her fall, our mother left her earthly body. (I miss her so much.)
I am confident though, that I will soon see my mother again when my time here on earth will be due. Of course, nobody knows when will be that, but I am surely excited to see her up there in heaven and all the splendor there are in it with our Creator. I can almost imagine that there will be endless chatting between us with laughter and love. No more tears of pain and sorrow in heaven, probably only tears of joy.
So, how old my mother will look like when I see her in heaven? With my very limited source that I have here with me, this is the only picture I can find where I can say this was on her prime age. So, I think this is what she will look like then... maybe?
We need to realize that when God created Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, they were in their prime of life. Another fact, Jesus died and was resurrected at the prime of his physical life. Therefore, it is justified to believe that whatever age we will die, it is certain that we will be resurrected physically in our prime age, complete and gloriously perfect. Our entire being will be remade flawless as God originally intended to give to His children when we get to heaven.

Happy 1st Anniversary Redemption Bible Fellowship
One year ago, the Redemption Bible Fellowship was born. Lead by Pastor Bill Shonemann with Brother Jim Bryant as his assistant, together with us, which we call ourselves fellow workers, we started dramatically. Our first few services was in the park, we moved to a small place where we cozily and warmly gathered together regularly... and then now, God has blessed RBF once again, we are now in a bigger building, getting ourselves ready for more visitors to come spend the Sundays with us.
We celebrated our anniversary yesterday. The sermon was great and anointed. We were truly blessed. Lunch was served after the service and the food was abundant. We had few visitors.
(Thanks to all that brought foods.)
Happy first anniversary, Redemption Bible Fellowship.

He Will Carry You by SCOTT WESLEY BROWN
This song just pop up on my mind out of nowhere a couple of days ago. I don't remember anymore when was the last time I heard this song played somewhere, not even on my head. I love this song, "He Will Carry You" by Scott Wesley Brown. Although he is not Filipino, but I believe that every Filipino on my generation (at least) knows this song, either from school or from the local church that they attended. I know this song from both during my elementary years.
Its lyric touched me personally probably because of the mountain that we are facing right now. Well, I know we always have mountains in our daily walk. It is part of our lives. Sometimes the mountain is so short that it doesn't bother us at all... sometimes the mountain is so tall that it caught us in fear that we might not be able to climb it... sometimes the mountain is followed right away with another mountain and followed right away with another mountain and so on, and that's depressing.
The song says, He (God) will carry YOU (us). Of course, I know it... but why is it I seem to carry my cares of this world on my shoulder rather than having God carry it for me, when in the first place that is what God wants us to do anyway? What do I get from carrying my cares on myself? Nothing. It has only exhausted me, and then leads to unproductive living. I think it is just out of my old habit that I did that. Now, I will need to break that bad habit and start walking lightly.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28 NIV

WRITING (Blogging), My First Love
A blessed Sunday to all!I am so thankful that I got this day off from work, and thus I was able to join the church fellowship this morning. We move to a new building two Sundays ago, but since I was working on those both previous Sundays, officially, for me today is my first Sunday service on our new church building. I love it. We are so thankful to God for this huge blessing. And on next Sunday, will be our first year anniversary of the Redemption Bible Fellowship. God has been so wonderful to us from the very day that this congregation was born, that we started our fellowship at the park, then we had our little place for almost a year, and now, a bigger place. Glory to God!
Our preacher was talking about how we can reach out to the people, and the many forms and ways of doing it. It then reminded me how I had abandoned my blogging, which I consider as working for God, too. I used to blog almost everyday, telling my readers how my day was going and what it had to do with our spiritual walk with God. I was glorifying God's name in my own little way. And today, back in the fellowship earlier, I said to myself, "I can still do that". So, here I am. :-)
Writing (Blogging) was my first love, and still is, in terms of vocation. I remember how excited I get every morning to get on my desktop and start sharing to the world what was on my mind. It was even more exciting when somebody left comments on my post. I can still remember the thrill of knowing that somebody from the other part of the world was reading my post that I wrote right in the bedroom of our house in the small town of Kingston, Michigan.
Few months before I moved here in the USA, God revealed to me that I will be writing here. Although I didn't understand how because I never had any writing training or anything like that, but I know I would love it. I came here, three months after, a cyber friend introduced me to the world of blogging. I even made a lot of money out of it, but that was only the "icing of the cake", telling about God's amazing grace was the cake.
If I have to describe how my mind is running on normal days, I would say it is like a busy traffic on a highway. Ideas. Plans. Memories. Tasks. Revelations. They are all running on the pavement of my head at the same time, and if I am not quick enough to write them down on my memo pad, chances are, I will not be able to remember them again.
I know I have done this a lot of times, and I will do this again... I hope to be blogging more often from this day on. Working full-time at WalMart and doing house chores are two very overwhelming tasks for me, plus hobbies, family time and friendship time... I already find myself doubting now, but with the mission in mind, and of God's help, I believe I can accomplish this.
"Be very careful, then, how you live-- not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity..." Ephesians 5:15-16 NIV

Daylinda Clan Reunion 2014
This was our very first ever family reunion on our mother's side. Thus, we called it Daylinda Clan. It was held on January 11, 2014 at Intosan Resort, Danao, Cebu. It was very memorable event for all of us, because I believe that after so many years that we were scattered away from Cebu, it was the first time that the entire family were together in one place with the exception of the three (Noy Bebot, Michelle and Archie (& his family) that are working abroad and can't make it home. With the effort and participation of everybody, (not to mention that some had to skip classes and work) the event was a success and memorable.
You may ask why we picked January 11, it is because our mother's birthday is January 13, and since it fell on Monday, we decided to move it to Saturday for everybody's convenience.
The shirt played a big part on making the event spectacular, too. This design was the evidence that with the family teamwork, we can achieve great things. The fact that everybody was wearing the shirt, was an awesome display of cooperation from everybody. (Special thanks to Vincent for finalizing the shirt design, and for Christian for taking the shirts to the printing shop.)
(to be continued soon...)

The Knowledge That Leads To Fear
We are back from our two weeks visit to the Philippines. We had a blast! I will post about it with few pictures in a few days. As of now, I am still very busy and had just recovered from ear infection. Thank God the pain is gone now. There is something I want to share with you right now though as God prompts me to.
This happened the other day, as I was eating my breakfast alone, as usual I have my cellphone with me browsing through my Facebook news feed. (By the way, I may have hundreds, if not thousand of friends in FB, but I customized my news feed, they are only from my very few carefully selected families and friends.)
There was a post about Astrology. I had always been attracted to Astrology when I was a little girl. I read a lot of books about it. Strangely, it had always stated the truth about me. However, after my spiritual conversion 30 years ago, Astrology was one of the things that I completely ignored ever since then.
The news feed in FB about the Astrology was not really something new, but it had just drew curiosity in me. I had decided to find out mine... and as I was about to, something prompt me;
"Are you really doing this?
"I don't have to believe it."
"Well, how about reading ODB as you are supposed to do every day?"
"Okay. I will do that first, then the Astrology."
So, I read the devotion materials for that day on "Our Daily Bread". The scripture reading and subject was about Genesis 3:1-8. It was about the fall of the humankind on their pursuit on knowing "good and evil". Imagine how stunned I was??!! It was like getting a spiritual slap on my face and may have heard the word "wake up". It was definitely a rebuke for me right there.
"And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.” Genesis 2:16-17 NIV
I don't need to explain what is wrong with believing Astrology. Debate is not my strong asset. All I want to say is that for me, if God abhors it, then it is a NO NO for me. There is nothing wrong with being so diligent as they say, but if that specific knowledge will only leads to restlessness, fear and insecurities; then it is absolutely wrong. God wants us to live with peace in mind, love and security in His arms.
Have a blessed day.

Countdown To Our Philippine Trip
I feel bad to myself that it has been almost a month since the last time I posted here in my blog. I know I promised I will be posting more often after I revived my blogging enthusiasm. I apologize for that. It has been a very extremely busy days for me since the month of November, being a cashier at WalMart, and then Christmas is fast approaching, too... breathless.
Not just that, my husband and I are going to Philippines next month, and as the countdown apps on my cellphone stated it, we only got 28 days left. Whew!
We bought our ticket last September 19th, and right after that I put the countdown apps on my cellphone. Every morning that I woke up, I always checked on the countdown apps, and was even complaining to myself how days passed so slowly... and now, here it is, 28 days left to go... Are we ready? NO!
I just told my husband a while ago that planning our trip on January is not a good idea with all the holidays that are coming closely next to each other. But we have to make some sacrifice on this. But my mother's birth month is January, and it always make her happy to have me around on her birthday.
Christmas tree is up.
Christmas cards are sent out.
Christmas shopping... 75% done...
Shopping for Philippines 85% done...
Packing... none accomplished except that 4 big luggage are now out from the closet.
Misc....
Let Us Give Love On Christmas Day.

Number 3 As A Perfect Number
We all have our opinion. We are entitled to it. Some of us may take advantage of it, while others are too timid to share some. I think I am kind of in between. I love sharing my opinions, but I only do so when I am comfortable with those around me. I guess this is why I created my blog.
Here is what I had in my mind few hours ago. I think number 3 is considered as perfect number, just as with 10 and 100. Here are my reasons why;
*We eat 3 times a day
*We are supposed to brush our teeth 3 times a day
*We wash/rinse the dishes, clothes and food 3 times to be considered as doing it thoroughly
*We count 1 up to 3 to warn our kids, and kids usually response when it comes to 3
*It takes at least 3 to be considered as a crowd
*It takes at least 3 to be called as family (although the truth is that a husband and a wife with no children are practically considered as family)
*It takes at least 3 legs to make any table steady
*In the computer game, it mostly takes 3 tries before the game is over
*In the baseball, it takes 3 strikes before the outs, 3 outs before the other team gets the bat
... and the last one on my list, and this is my favorite;
*Jesus Christ was risen from being dead after 3 days
Thanks for reading. :-)

No More Nightmare Of Losing My Saved Pictures
My husband knows me very well now. Every time that he
noticed that I am feeling down, or a little grouchy, he knows right away that
it is time for him to take me somewhere. I am a very nature-loving person, and
part of it, it is my desire to capture the moment by taking pictures and store
them in my computer.
I have a large collection of outdoor pictures, and videos as
well. A nightmare happened to me last year. Our computer broke down, and gone
with it were my hundreds of precious pictures and videos, except for those that
I (fortunately) moved to the flash drive. It took me a while before I was able
to move on with that loss, it was when my husband suggested to use Carbonite
backup service. It is an online backup service to protect all documents, photos
and videos that are in our computers. What a relief! I don’t have to worry
anymore for that same nightmare to happen again.
Scitechdaily.com is a website for somebody like me who needs
to learn more about science and technology. I just learned about this lately,
and had learned a lot from them about things that nobody told me before. This website
also has listings of online coupons where I found the Carbonite offer code . Just perfect!
In need of Carbonite coupon offers ? You can find it in their website. You can also find it in GeekAlerts.com

Exploration Tower @ Cape Canaveral, Florida
I had two days off in a row this week, and my husband had just finished his assignment, too, in other words, we were both free. The rule is, we have to have any kind of outdoor activities. My husband suggested that we go visit the Exploration Tower that had just recently open for the public, and I added, too, that after the tour, we go fishing at the Jetty Park, Cape Canaveral.

The Exploration Tower at Cape Canaveral, Florida is almost like a museum. They are representing the entire Brevard County tourist spot. They summarized the history of Cape Canaveral hundreds of years ago through video presentation. And above all, Exploration Tower is about space exploration, where Cape Canaveral was the home of space shuttles.
Three years ago, the spot where the tower is being erected now was a lousy place. My husband and I were so excited when we first saw the sign about what will soon rise in that spot. We were checking on their progress every month as if we own the place. Ha-ha-ha. As a local resident of Brevard County, I could say I am so proud of this tower.

I Am Kissing Goodbye To The (Costume) Halloween Party
In the first place, I shouldn't have done this at all anyway being a strong believer. But what drawn me into it? It was probably the fact that I never had costume party when I was still in the Philippines. It was kinda like giving myself the chance to act like a kid again.

It started out back in 2010, our first (costume) Halloween party among Filipino friends. It was a birthday party of one of our friend, Jane. She wanted it to be a costume birthday party. I was actually hesitant then because of my faith, but I sugar-coated it with a thought that it will only be a costume party. Nothing devilish. I was broke then because I just got back from my 1-month Philippine vacation, and so, I couldn't afford to buy a costume. I found and bought a French maid costume at eBay at a very unbelievably cheap price. I thought it was neat. My husband had his last minute shopping at a costume shop, and got the Tarzan set. I was uncomfortable with my costume. It was too daring for me. It took me few days after the party to realize that the costume I was wearing were not something for the party. I believe it was a kinky costume. I think I was so blinded due to the fact that it was the only costume I could afford at that time. Oh well, it happened already. No sense looking back with regrets.
Costume (Halloween) Party 2011. I was looking forward to it. I made sure we bought our costume early so that we don't have to be looking elsewhere and ended up getting what we didn't want. I was a Cleopatra and my husband was a Julius Caesar. I love our costume that time, and I enjoyed the party with confidence. I bought the costume from Wal-Mart. And by the way, it was again a birthday party for Jane, too.
Costume (Halloween) Party 2012. My husband was excited about it. He had in mind already what he wanted to be and what he wanted me to be. I was a squaw (an American Indian girl). My husband was Clint Eastwood. I think it was my favorite costume on all three of them. And as usual, we had fun taking pictures. Food were awesome and endless. The numbers of Filipino participants were growing each year. To some of us it was like a little reunion because we get to see some of our friends who were from a distant, and just came over to join the costume party. Time for catching up with each other. And yes, it was again a birthday party for Jane, too.
Costume (Halloween) Party 2013. It will be in a couple of days, November 1st. What are we going to wear this time? Nothing, because we are not going. Strangely though, the day that I told my husband that we will skip this year on going to the Costume (Halloween) Party because we were trying to save money for our oncoming Philippine vacation, was the same day that I later heard from my friend, Jane, who was to celebrate the birthday, that they will be on cruise on her birthday, and that will mean that there will be no costume birthday party for her. Imagine how stunned I was! I was like, how did I know??? However, the host, the owner of the house where we always held the party decided that there will still be Costume (Halloween) Party because it has becoming like a tradition to their family and to us her friends. Nevertheless, I had already decided and is determined not to do it this year, because we need to eliminate unnecessary expenses.
A couple of days ago, I read an article about a lady who kiss the Halloween goodbye. I was amazed because somehow I can relate to her confession, and it had somehow enlightened my mind on what celebrating Halloween really is all about. She also had same excuses as mine when it comes to sugar-coating the events by claiming that the party was only Disney-like costumes. Nothing scary or devilish, but the fact that it fell on the Halloween season with everybody in America doing the same thing, it is something that I can't escape away.
Therefore, I declare today, as I did to my friends last night via text messages, that I am kissing goodbye to the Costume (Halloween) Party because it conflicts my faith in God. I hope and pray that I will not stumble in the future. I still want to join any costume party though, if it doesn't fall on Halloween season.

Wi-Fi Hotspots Right In The Comfort Of Your Own Place
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Bright House Networks for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
On a very tiresome noon, I always asked my husband to take me to McDonald to just hang around there, relax while indulging on my favorite Frappuccino and apple pie in a busy street of Cocoa Beach. Lately though, it is becoming more and more difficult for us to get a spot inside or outside because the place is packed with customers who are taking advantage of their Wi-Fi. I should say that that is a smart business strategy, but in fairness, they got good food, too.
This also happens in the food court inside the mall. People hang around there for the whole afternoon just to get free Wi-Fi. I think it is a little bit uncomfortable way of using laptop, but I can't blame them though if they don't have internet access in their own place.
Well, I got good news! Brighthouse is giving away to everyone a 30 days free access to their Wi-Fi Hotspots. You don't have to be their existing customer to take advantage of this. The Prayer of an OCD
This is a very common quote, and yes, this is a prayer. I believe we see this in almost everywhere. Most of us even memorized this. I wouldn't hesitate to say that this one is famous and powerful. We probably have our own favorite quotes. Although I like this, but this one is not my favorite.

Few weeks ago, I happened to see this quote again somewhere. And for the very first time, it had a different meaning on me. As a "slightly" OCD myself, this should be my prayer every morning. In my early age, I already know that I have a slight problem with being compulsive. I call it "slight" because compare to people who really have OCD problem, mine is almost invisible. Mine is more on battle in the mind, that if there is SOMETHING that I don't understand, or a sort of problem, I wouldn't stop until I figure out the solution. And by the way, I didn't say on EVERYTHING, just on SOMETHING.
In three years of my marriage life, my husband learned that I have OCD by the way I discussed our problems, take note on everything we come up and how I don't move on unless it is solved. Something he would accused me of discontentment, but I corrected him by elaborating the big difference of DISCONTENTMENT and the picture of somebody that knows there is something else or something better just within grab. I don't know if you got my point here, but what I am trying to say is, "I believe this is the best job I can get with my education attainment, but I believe that I can do something else to generate more income." (That is just my personal example.)
Life is limitless in resources. We need the SERENITY to accept our physical and mental capacity, have the COURAGE to move to another zone or field, but we also have to have WISDOM from God for guidance.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

My Cellphone Shutdown
My cellphone shutdown last night while I was checking my message. At first I thought it was just a battery malfunction because this happened few days ago, too, and no more than 30 seconds it turned on by itself again. My cellphone will be 2 years in 1st week of December, and anybody who knows how I handle my stuff can agree with me that this cellphone should still be in an excellent working condition.
I told my husband about this. He tried to figure out something to turn it back on, but nothing happened. So, the best thing we can do for now is to move my sim card to his old cellphone (same unit with mine), BUT... the problem would be how can I get access to my stored memos from my cellphone? :-(
I am so dependent on my cellphone that whenever something pop up on my mind I put them down right away on my memo for me to work on the right time. It has my saving statement, accounts access, shopping list, etc., and not to mention thousands of pictures, too. I am hoping that if my cellphone have to retire, to at least give me a chance to be able to move all my stuff to my Samsung Note. I'm a little disappointed. I told my husband that I am not ready to get a new phone. I just got my Samsung Note last month for my birthday. Besides, I was planning to get a new cellphone on January next year so I can give this phone to my sister.
My husband said that our phones and gadgets are insured, and that means that if something happened, stolen, lost, accidentally drowned in the pool, or just stopped working; we can get a new one. What a relief! However, I'm still not ready to give up my cellphone. I hope it will turn back on soon.
