DOVE Messages

I love Dove chocolates. I always have one every after dinner. It is some kind of a comfort food to me. On some time, especially after a very stressful day or an "unpleasant" day, I just love to lie down on our bed and have one. It kind of gives me some relaxing feeling.

At the back of the foil packaging, you will find a message. It kind of made me smile after reading them. Lately, I have decided to keep every one that got a different messages on it, and wrote it down here for the record. So far, these are the messages that I had collected.

Quarter Collection -Update

I believe that some of you have remembered that I started collecting quarters 6 months ago and I was lacking 4 states then. Here is now my Quarter Collection update. So far, I am lacking only one state which is the Arkansas. Does anybody hold a quarter with Arkansas on it?

Anyway, I am so happy that I found this "Quarter of the United States" frame from Flea Market last Saturday. The moment I found it, I was not hesitating at all and bought it right away for only $2.
.
I really hope that I can find that Arkansas quarter and so that I can fill it in the one and only missed spot, then it will be complete.

New States To Add

Here are the key holder to add to my collection. Every new places that I go, I always do my best to be able to get a key holder to add to my collection. But it is so sad that we can't find a key holder (that bear the name of its state) on some states. Anyway, my husband told me that we can come back to those states when we move down to Florida soon. So, I was not sad anymore.

I numbered each key holder so that I can explain them better.
1. I bought it from the biggest Flea Market in Tennessee.
2. I bought it from a souvenir station in Georgia.
3. This one is very special. This was handed to me by my husband's aunt, Aunt Sallie-Jean. She knew that I collected key holder and she knew, too, that I was sad that I got nothing from some states.
4. This one is from (NASA) Kennedy Space Center, Titusville, Florida.
5. This one is from a gas station, Marathon, in Kentucky.

The states that I missed are:
1. Ohio
2. Virginia
3. North Carolina
4. South Carolina

Key Holder Collection

When I was still in the Philippines, a certain part of my wall was covered with my key holder collection. Well, it was nothing significant though. It was just any kind of key holder... and again, I have to leave it.

On my way going here, I had a two hour stop-over at Japan. I had my Philippine Peso converted into Japan Yen, so that I can buy something I may want. One of the things that I bought was a key holder. Key holder always caught my attention. Then, I thought, I will start collecting key holder again... and this time, in a different way. Every significant place that I will go to, if I can find any, I will buy a key holder for my collection.

So far, here are the key holders that I had gather in my 10 months stay here.

*Bronner's Biggest Christmas Store In The World
*Kingston Post Office (with a vintage stamp on it)

*Wisconsin's Bay City "The Packers"
*Cass City Gardening Organization
(There are some places that I had been to that I was not able to get a key holder because we were in a hurry, but I was told that we will get there again.)
