NFL Quarterback and their Teams

I am posting these few football teams and their quarterbacks for me to remember their names with their teams. My husband always bragged around how many quarterbacks I know, and the truth is, I sometimes forgot their names. He is somehow happy that for some extent, I am showing a little interest in football. Him and almost all the men in the family are into football that he owned Sunday afternoon during football season.

Miracle Happened to Philadelphia Eagles

Hi Everyone! How is your Sunday going? I am having a great Sunday. We had a wonderful and fabulous Christmas presentation at the church followed by a hearty lunch in the conference hall with the purpose of having fellowship with each other, too. That was really one blessed Sunday to us.

At home, I was busy wrapping Christmas gifts, while my husband was watching his favorite sports which is the football. He was watching Philadelphia Eagles versus New York Giants. I was with him for a short while because I want to work on my knitted scarf, and at the same time watching the sport. I am good in doing both. My husband wants the Eagles to win, and it was 10(Eagles) - 24(Giants) when I decided to quit watching because it looked hopeless. I went to the guest room to resume my gift wrapping.

"Honey, you need to watch this," my husband called after a few minutes. I ran out to see what was going on. He made a rewind for me to able to catch up. It was not really a good one that I won't want to miss, but all of a sudden, a particular book that I am reading reminded me to do something for my husband, which is to stay, watch the entire game with my husband, become interested with the sport and share the excitement with him. There was 3 minutes and 10 second left for the game, and I figured that it will be over soon. The score became 10-31. My husband already accepted that his team would lost, but I stayed.

A sudden turn of fate happened. Eagles made another touchdown that turn the score into a tie, 31-31. There was a minute and 8 seconds left. "Will there be a lot of things that will happen in a minute and 8 seconds, honey?" "Oh, yeah." It was 4 seconds left, DeSean Jackson made a giant move, he soared like an eagle and made a touchdown that brought victory to Philadelphia Eagles. 36-31

Boy! I'm glad I stayed to see the miracle that happened to Philadelphia Eagles.

Family reunion activities

As much as we love getting together and eating a ton of really great food, you can't just do that for hours and hours at a family reunion. You do have to do some other things eventually. So this year I took it upon myself to plan something for all the kids to do so that they could use up some of that energy and let the adults catch up and chat some more without being bothered.

I got the idea to hold a kickball game or two after everyone's lunch had settled and I convinced my two sisters to help me, which I think they also appreciated so our great aunts wouldn't corner them about being in their 20s and not being married. I downloaded some kickball rules with my clear internet and printed them out for us to take to the reunion.

Well, it ends up that the family kickball game was a really big hit and I've already got requests to organize another one for next year. I think a lot of the adults are even interested in participating in it.

Watching Baseball Double Headers

It sometimes hard to believe, but professional baseballs sometimes play double headers. If you are an avid baseball fan, this means that you are in for a long day of enjoyment. That is , if you go to both games. Personally I love baseball, but I can't always sit through back to back games, especially when you don't know how long the games will be. With as unpredictable as baseball is, its hard to estimate how long you could be watching double headers. I always make sure I give the dog extra water, and set my home security system, since I have no clue when I will be home. You never know whether the game will end early, or go into extra innings, or if it is going to rain. Prepare yourself for everything, that way you don't get caught off guard if something does come home. Double headers are fun if your crazy about baseball, and have nothing else to do for day, but when I don't want to go, I just watch it on my satellite tv from Cannon Satellite .

NFL Tailgating Is The Best

Tailgating is a custom and tradition that has taken place at football games for ages. I went to college at a small school in North Carolina. While we did have fun before football games and some big basketball games and other sports, I never really expierienced tailgating until I went to an NFL game.

The first one that I went to was back in the early winter of 2008. I was ate up with anticipation. I walked out of the house, made sure to set the adt home security, then headed to M & T Bank Stadium in Downtown Baltimore to watch the Ravens play my beloved Washington Redskins in a Sunday night game on NBC.

I took the Greyhound bus as it was only a 3 hour ride from my house. The station was only blocks from the stadium. I ended up tailgating with the folks from ExtremeSkins.com, the official message board of the Skins. They had everything that you wanted there. Pulled pork with two pigs, hamburgers, hot dogs, all the adult beverages that you wanted. We ate and chatted it up before we all got together and marched to the stadium. It was fun because I got to meet all the people that I had gotten to know though the message board.

It was very cold that night and unfortunately we lost the game. It was that tailgating expierience though that I will definitely not forget.

University of Michigan Basketball

I love University of Michigan football, but I also love University of Michigan basketball. It is too bad that all of the attention gets taken away from the University of Michigan's basketball team, because they have a pretty good team. One of my favorite hobbies is watching University of Michigan basketball games on my Satellite TV.

Maybe I am biased, because I attended the University of Michigan for my undergraduate education. Since I don’t live in Michigan anymore I rely on my satellite tv Chicago to watch all the games. I just have a passion for all U of M sports. I think watching the games on television is one of the best hobbies that anyone can have. The players have true pedigree and play with passion. I also have much respect for athletes at the University of Michigan and especially the basketball players.

The University of Michigan is a tough school with some of the best academics in the country. It is tough for athletes to balance sports and school, but somehow they find a way to manage it. Also, the University of Michigan always encourages athletes to value their academic studies, which is something not found at many colleges.

U of M basketball players always bring unmatched intensity to their basketball games. I find it a thrill to watch the Michigan State and University of Michigan basketball rivalry every single year. Every year, I hope that University of Michigan will come out on top!
