Thankful Thursday - The Grace of God

Today is the second Thursday of the year 2012. I can't count anymore how many Thursdays I missed, but one thing I am so sure, God did wonderful things in my life all the time.

I have tons of things to be thankful to God and it goes endless because every single seconds that passed there were always blessings. I can't even think of something that I can't be thankful to God knowing that they are what we call "blessings in disguise". It means they may be unpleasant at the moment but the end of it brings wonderful things for or in us.

As I sat down right here typing these words, I can't help but feeling in awe on how great our God is that He richly blessed us even if we don't feel we deserved it. I know that a lot of times I felt so stagnant in my spiritual life because of so many things that just keep me very busy but the spirit that is in us is always thirsty for God's fellowship because in the first place we are made with the need of God's fellowship. Thanks to the GRACE of God.

All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God. (2 Corinthians 4:15 NIV)

Thankful Thursday - God Answers

I'm back! I know. I owe you big time on my "Thankful Thursday" entry. The only explanation that I can give is that I was so overloaded with so many task that blogging became difficult for me. However, here I am now, and since I got a new laptop, (which I am very thankful to God) this should inspire me to be back on blogging. I got a whole bunch of things that deserves mention on how thankful I am to God, I may not be able to mention all of them, and to start with, I would like to highlight this verse;

"Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not." (Jeremiah 33:3 KJV)

First of all, I would like to thank God for nurturing me spiritually all the time. His word is the light to my path. In a situation where I was not sure on what to do, God laid it out on me like a blueprint for me to follow. Doing His will is what gives me peace of mind and made me successful in things that I entrusted to Him.

I am thankful, too, for the good health that my husband and I enjoy every day. We are both extremely busy, and although most of the time we were physically weary, but it did not really pull us down. I also thank God for keeping my mama in pretty good shape lately. My sister helped her now trying to be independent from those expensive medication, which I am so glad that they do because I just can't afford it, and now, they can use the money on the other things instead, such as on eating what she wants to eat, or buy herself something that will cheer her up. I think it sounds better to me than spending all the money on medication, at least she will enjoy life, and as long as she can maintain her blood sugar level in low. Thank you, Lord.

Everyday I thank God for the job I have now. I love it very much and I am giving my 120% on it. (Yes, because even at home, I still do some job-related work.) I handle my job with a spirit of good stewardship, and God knows that I honored him in it. Although at times, my employer doesn't seem to know or understand what I was or have been doing, but my ultimate and heavenly employer sees everything and knows my motives, and that gave me peace in mind that no matter my earthly employer find me incompetent sometimes, I am confident that God will work all things together for good for my behalf, and He always did. He is the provider of bright ideas and wisdom that pleases my employer. Thank you, my heavenly Boss.

I thank God, too, for holding my husband up in his studies. I see and understand how my husband sacrifices on this, and I see, too, how God miraculously and mercifully helped and sustained my husband since the very first day of his class. I am glad that my husband enjoyed his class and the least that I can do is to support him every way that I can, and this includes prayer. My desire is to see my husband's dream comes true, which I believe is God's will for him. Thank you, God.

Thankful Thursday - His Amazing Grace

It has been quite a while since the last time I posted my "Thankful Thursday" entry. There has been so many things happened in this past few months that until now, I am still struggling to get back to where I was. But believe me, I am trying... really trying hard. One of them is my ministry, which is living to tell God's Amazing Grace. I will never leave this... as long as this is free... I will always be coming back here.

All through these days, I never cease to acknowledge that God bless me richly in every aspects of my life. His amazing grace is so sweet. Although there are some things that are not how I wanted it, but in God's point of view, it is what we need to become what God wanted me to be. Abundance, obstacles, pain and happiness are all part of the tasks that we have to overcome day by day.

I am just so grateful to God that He enable me to do this again. This is my life, telling everybody about how good God is, and before I go on, I would like to highlight this verse for you:

...*In behalf of my husband, we are so thankful to God for the successful surgery he had last June 13th for his lower back. Everything went very well and the recovery was really fast. We are so thankful, too, to all that utter words of prayer for my husband. We appreciate it very much and we believe that your reward is sure to come in Jesus' name.
...*I thank God for the job He gave me. (It is the same old job that I have for 8 months now) I really love my job and I believe that I grow in some aspects of my life because of this job that God put me in. I did not brag about this because I know that this can be taken away from me anytime, but on each and every day that I work, I gave my best, and even extended it more than what my employer expected me to do. In this way, I will not feel guilty of not doing my best whenever they will take away my job from me. After all, having a job is an assignment of stewardship in God's point of view. The way we handle our job can bring glory to His name.
...*I thank God for the blessings, provision, divine health, loving-kindness, safety and grace He showered on us day by day.
...*I thank God that I still have my blog. It has PR4 for a while, but I lost 1 just a month ago. Obviously, it is from neglecting this for a while. But at least, I still have PR3 right now. Along with it, I thank God for all my readers, visitors, EC droppers and special mention to all my sponsors.
...*I thank God that per to what my mother said in her letter, she is doing fine. That is very important to me.
...*I thank God that our store is still running, although sometimes it was very slow and sometimes it was busy, but we believe that God got it under His control. He has been showering blessing on our store in His own ways... and it is always good.
.
I can go on and on, and still the list will not run out. Giving thanks to God is more than just words; it is also in action and in thoughts. Every single things around us and in us are chances to give thanks to God. Let us give God the glory. Our life is filled with His amazing grace

Thankful Thursday - His Compassions Never Fail

Thank God it is Thursday again. I know I missed the past few Thursdays to post this, but here I am now. I don't to make this day pass without this post again. But before I state that things that I am so thankful for, I want to highlight this verses:

"Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." (Lamentation 3:22-23)

*First of all, I thank God for the trials and problems I have been through lately. It was essential for my growth, in all aspects of my life, whether, spiritual, emotional, social, marital and mental.
*I thank God the daily bread that is always on our table.
*I thank God for the good health and safety on everywhere we go and everything we did.
*I thank God for the job that I still have. It is a great blessing to have a job that I love so much.
*I thank God always for enabling me to send money for my mama's medication and personal needs.
*I thank God for my blog, its sponsors and readers. It is one of the big blessings that I am having since my first few months here in USA until now.
*I thank God for the friends He gave to me... to talk to. Life without one is unimaginable.
*I thank God for all the survivors in Japan, and to all who help them in every way. God's hand is working all around us.
*And above all these, I thank God for the joy, peace of mind and love He planted on my heart that made me withstand during life's storm.
Life is full of reasons to be thankful to God. Let us grab the opportunity, to be able to bring glory to God because after all, this is what God wants from us, to give Him glory for He alone deserves all these. God is amazing and awesome!

Thankful Thursday - Let The Thanksgiving Overflow

It is Thankful Thursday once again. This is a big opportunity to us, Christian bloggers to give glory to our God in the form of thanksgiving because He deserves this. Let me highlight to you this bible verse:

Thankful Thursday - Glorify Him With Thanksgiving

It is the first Thursday of the year. I don't want to miss this big opportunity to give glory to God again, for this is his due and this is our mission here on earth, to glorify His great name. Before I proceed to my list, I would like to highlight this verse;

*I thank God for His loving-kindness that pours on me and my family on every single day of my life.
*I thank God for His protection against everything, may it be sickness, accidents, wrong decision or against bad people. He protect us from such things.

*I thank God for He is our great teacher. He gives me the lesson in life about everything that I can't learn nowhere else.

Thankful Thursday - Happy New Year

I have been extremely busy these days that I can't hardly find time to blog. I'm on break right now from preparing foods for our tomorrow's back-to-back New Year's Eve Party. I am done with the "lumpia" which will be for the MICHA's party and in a little later, I will be making the ham roll for the Fil-Am party. I don't want to miss these last year's opportunity to post my Thankful Thursday, eventhough I am a bit late now. But before I go on, let me highlight to you this verse;

Thankful Thursday - God's Abundant Blessing

I know that the day is almost over, but it is not too late at all to post my Thankful Thursday. I don't want to miss this day to announce to everybody here on my blog that I got a series of blessings today. It is too good that I can't mention it here because I just don't want to sound like bragging, but God knows how happy and grateful I am right now. God is so wonderful! I just can't help being in awe that all these things happened in one day. God is the master of good surprises. He never withdraw His promise. Ain't it grand to be one of God's children? Thankful Thursday - Extol God

It is such a good opportunity to post this Thankful Thursday and as children of God, we are very eager to share to the world the things that we received and happened to us, in honor to God our King and Lord. But before I go on, allow me to highlight my today's verse on this post.

Thankful Thursday - Happy Thanksgiving Day

Happy Thanksgiving day to all! I am glad that my employer gave me an off from work today. I need it so that I can spend time with my husband's relative that came from West Virginia and to those that are here around us, for today's Thanksgiving Day dinner that will be in the basketball court. It is my third Thanksgiving Day here in USA and as always, I am very happy to be a part of this very important holiday in America.

Thanksgiving Day is being thankful for all the blessings we received throughout the year. Thanksgiving Day was originally the day set apart to show gratefulness for the crops harvested on the present year. Thanksgiving Day is for the entire family (and extended) to gather together in one house and just enjoy the bonding moment. Thanksgiving Day is to be thankful for the life we have and for the person that we are with.

Happy Thanksgiving to all. May you spend the day with somebody you love and just talk about the things that you are so thankful for. Let us not forget to give God all the glory for He deserves it.

Thankful Thursday - My Comeback

First of all, I want to thank God that here I am, making my "Thankful Thursday" entry again. This is my comeback post. I just found out that my last entry was back in June. I feel bad about it. Whatever my reason, it can never be valid. We are to give thanks to God for everything under any circumstances.

There are so many things that I want to thank God as of this very moment. In fact, if I have to, I will not be able to sleep tonight for enumerating each and every one of the things that I am so thankful to God.

*I want to thank God for the relationship I have with my husband. Through ups and downs, those things made us closer to each other and time made us stronger as ever. He is always there for us.
*I want to thank God that my vacation to Philippines had been possible, and everything just went great beyond what I had planned.
*I thank God that I no longer bear the problem and concerns I had with my previous employment. I am free now. And very thankful for this another job that He gave to me. This is something that I can do and grow up with my natural skill. This is a blessing.

God is so good. Always good. You just need to trust Him. My prayer is that you will trust in Him and be able to see His goodness in your life, too.

Thankful Thursday - Give Thanks To The Lord

I am very happy to be posting again my miss Thankful Thursday. It has been a while since the last time I did it. I had been through a lot of things the prevented me to blog as much as I used to do. It may be late for this post today, but I definitely don't want to miss to post my TT entry today. I want to acknowledge God on everything that He did in my life. I miss posting my Thankful Thursday last week because our connection was not good. It may be late for this post today, but I definitely don't want to miss to post my TT entry today. ...*First and the biggest blessings I got this week is the recovery of my mama. I am really rejoicing over it. I miss my mama and is currently working with my plan to visit her soon.
...*I greatly thank God that I am still on my job. There were a total of 5 persons who were fired since I started working in that company, and I was not sure what was the reason, but this afternoon, before I went home, I was talking to somebody in the office and was told that there is a change of management. I don't know for how long I will be working in this company but one thing I know, God knows my needs. So, I put my job in His hand.
...*I thank God for the good health and safety I and my husband have everyday and on overy activities we are into.
...*I thank God for His the blessings, provision, loving-kindness and grace He showered on us day by day.

Thankful Thursday - Rejoicing In His Goodness

I am so happy that it is Thursday again and it is my day-off today, too. I don't want to miss this day to talk about how thankful I am to God for so many things. I am posting this through my cellphone because we are on the road, on the way to Lion Safari. Dad and Mom is taking us there. Yahoo! This is one of the things I am so thnkful to God today, too, and before I go on I would like to highlight this Bible verse that I like very much;

"From the rising of the sun to its going down the Lord's name is to be praised." Psalm 113:3

I thank God for the job, and the strength He provide me everyday.
I thank God that my parents-in-law are here with us.

I would like to go on but afraid that the battery on my cellphone will drain off, so I will end this here.

Let us fill this day with a thankful heart toward God, for He deserve the glory and praises.

Thankful Thursday - Worship God In Songs

It is Thursday once again. I may be late, but I don't want to miss this day in giving thanks to God for all the wondrous things He has done in my life. There are many ways we can express our gratitude to God's grace and mercy that He showers on us every day, and one of the most significant act is to sing praises to His name. Every time my husband and I do our devotion moment, we always started it out by singing a worship song to God. Here are some of the worship song phrase that describes who our God is, but before that, I would like to highlight this Bible verse:

"I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High." (Psalm 7:17 NIV)

It is Thankful Thursday once again. I don't want to miss my chance to give thanks to God, especially for the very good thing that I am receiving from God lately. But before that, I would like to highlight this verse;

It is only a part time job, but I believe God is preparing my body, by starting to give me a part time job, so that I will get use to working.
